The current situation and existing problems of the practical teaching of civil engineering specialty were analyzed. To strengthen engineering consciousness training and improve civil engineering students’ project practice ability, a new concept and new teaching methods of practical teaching were put forward to meet the requirement of cultivating top-quality civil engineering talents.
