The building decoration engineering specialty has a characteristic of highly integration of technology and art. The current situation of the education mode of building decoration engineering specialty was analyzed, a new education mode featured in technology and art integration was presented and its necessity and feasibility were proposed. Measures to promote the integration of technology classes and art classed were explored. Some other aspects should be reconsidered such as teaching mode reform and teaching staff cultivation.
