Focusing on how to improve the research capacity of civil engineering undergraduates, we analyzed the current situation and existing problems of research capacity training of civil engineering undergraduates. Building a reasonable tutorial system was the key point for solving the existing problems. Then we introduced a training mode based on a fully research tutorial system, which gave an efficient choice for undergraduate research capacity training.
