Abstract:We discussed a diversified teaching method in structural dynamics course. By introducing the ANSYS numerical experiment applied on a three-dimensional frame structure, the process method of ground motion acceleration records and the field test of obtaining structure’s dynamic characteristics, we presented a method of improving the classroom effect and practice activities. The research shows that the diversified teaching method, in which a series of classroom teaching methods are used and a field test is practiced, can effectively motivate students, help them understand the corresponding theory concepts, and improve their innovation ability simultaneously.
