We discussed the important role of civil engineering specialized course teachers in the ideological and political education and analyzed advantages of specialized course teachers in the ideological and political education. We thought specialized course teachers should guide students from aspects of professional ethics, hot spots of society and worldly ideal establishment. In practice, specialized course teachers should strengthen self-cultivation and permeate ideological and political education in the course teaching.
