Abstract:Aimed at the predicaments of civil engineering bilingual education under credit charging system, two kinds of questionnaires of students in opened course and deserted course were compiled, to investigate the orientation, expectation and improvement direction of civil engineering bilingual course. The results show that most students didn't realize the importance of bilingual course, and even the course has to be deserted when it is an optional course in the last 2 years. However, students of opening course played in class; all they wanted to do is to pass the exam, not for knowledge. In order to improve teaching effects, the course content should be based on the real engineering to attract students' attention, and the current situation of global civil engineering must be promoted to students to urge them study the so-called useless civil engineering bilingual course diligently.
