According to the professional ability requirement of planners for new urbanization development in China, the concept model of characteristic applied undergraduate of urban and rural planning specialty (CAUURPS) was given, and the fundamental thoughts of developing CAUURPS by university-enterprise cooperative (告 UEC) was analyzed. The author believes that UEC is an available way of improving the training quality of CAUURPS. Based on teaching practice, the UEC-based training path of CAUURPS was put forward, which includes teachers "double division types", specialized course system optimization, practice in conjunction with competition; produced practice, the promotion of use value and innovation level of graduation design.
