Building industry modernization has an important influence on the construction and development of civil engineering of local colleges and universities. Based on current situation of building industry of Lianyungang and civil engineering specialty construction of Huaihai Institute of Technology, challenge and opportunity faced to civil engineering of local colleges and universities under building industry modernization is analyzed, to provide some helpful reference to local colleges and universities' civil engineering specialty construction.
