      Abstract:Based on the research into relevant open-economy theories and the content of an open economy, and taking the case of Chongqing for example, this paper proposes five critical aspects in expanding an inland open economy: to build open platforms, to construct external traffic links, to innovate the industry development pattern, to enhance the comprehensive level of support services, and to innovate the system and mechanism for opening-up. Then in terms of developing the future inland open economy, the article argues to foster an open economy culture, strengthen the various elements of guarantee, and further perfect the foreign-related economic management system and mechanism.

      Abstract:With the Chongqing "314" overall plan, establishment of experimental zone of urban and rural comprehensive reform and construction of "Two Rivers District", the economy of Chongqing as well as the construction industry has been developing rapidly; the process of urbanization continues to accelerate. However, the construction industry of Chongqing still faces several challenges. So the systems of the construction companies should be ameliorated. Based on the SWOT analysis, this paper aims to argue how to improve the present systems of the construction companies in Chongqing, especially the state-owned construction company and the collective construction company, in order to promote further development of the construction industry in Chongqing.

    • The Wage Income of Rural Residents of Western Region: Difference in Internal Provinces and Influence Factors

      Abstract:This article studies on the difference in the wage income of rural residents in whole western region and internal provinces with panel data from 1997 to 2008. The result of the empirical analysis is that the development of secondary and tertiary industry, the level of education of rural residents, and the level of urbanization have positive effect on the wage income of rural residents. The greatest impact is the level of education. The second is the level of urbanization and the development of secondary and tertiary industry. And there is regional difference on the extent of the impact of the three factors.

      Abstract:This article examines the relationship among the government intervention, social capital and audit demand through empirical test. The study finds audit quality declines if government intervention is serious under the background of transition economy; the further research for the state-owned enterprises shows the quality of audit will be reduced in high social capital. This will make contribution to improving audit quality and building a harmonious society.

    • Independence of the Board and Performance of Chinese Listed Banks

      Abstract:Because of the current lack of empirical research on banking governance issues, we use the data of 14 listed joint-stock commercial banks, and spell out the relationship between governance structure and the bank's operating performance by the establishment of a single equation of simultaneous equations model, empirically analyze the relationship between the bank's performance and board independence. The results show that the independence of the board of directors influences the bank's performance, but the effect is not significant. In comparison governance structure, the scale, the capital structure and the volume of net have greater impact on bank performance. Finally, we make a policy proposal to introduce strategic investors.

    • A Study on Consumer Buying Behaviors of Chinese Residents towardEnergy-saving Household Appliances and the Influencing Factors

      Abstract:Promoting using of energy-saving household appliances is recognized as one of main paths to achieve the goal of energy saving and emission reduction of a country. This article studies into the consumers' perception, attitudes and using behaviors of energy-saving and energy efficient household appliances that influence on their buying behaviors and decision-making through an empirical study. The research findings show that the purchasing energy-saving household appliances has positive relation with consumers' product perception, environment concerns, and social responsible sense, negative relation with appliance price, and no direct correlation has found with energy using behaviors of residents/consumers. The research findings also reveal that the price of energy-saving household appliances has the most significant influence on consumer's buying decision, the second is product knowledge and perception, followed by environment concerns and social responsible sense. The article then provides policy implications of the research outcomes.

      Abstract:In the open innovation environment, innovation search plays increasingly important role in organizational growth. This paper discusses the innovative search connotation and analysis dimensions, and then analyzes the main factors influencing organizational search innovation from the intra-organization and inter-organizational perspective. Moreover, this paper further reviews existing empirical research on innovative search from three aspects, and finally puts forward the inadequacy of existing research and the direction of future research.

      Abstract:By inserting the incremental innovation and the price into the product diffusion, we construct the model of product potential revenue based on the Bass Model. 3 types of the product potential revenue are got: the first is the "Ω" distribution that is the traditional product life cycle; the second is the monotone increasing distribution; the last is the monotone decreasing distribution.

      Abstract:Entrepreneurship research gradually shifts from the entrepreneurs' trait theory to the research of entrepreneurial behavior and process, panel study of entrepreneurial dynamics, PSED for short, has made great contribution to the construction of the theory in this area. This paper systematically sorts out some important literature relying on the PSED project in recent years and explains the following three aspects: the features of start-up entrepreneurs, the features of new enterprise's creation process, and the results of new enterprise's creation process. On the above basis, this paper explores the future research opportunities of the PSED project research.

      Abstract:The social relation net of family & pan-family plays an important role in entrepreneurship by rural migrant workers returned to hometown, and the integrality and unimpededness of the social net is essential to success of entrepreneurship. After studying the relationship between social capitals, social networks and entrepreneurship by rural migrant workers returned to hometown, this paper analyzes the value of social networks of rural migrant workers based on the entrepreneurial value of social networking elements. Then the condition of social network to support for migrant workers returning home business is given. Finally, the countermeasures based on self-building and to aids from the government to restructure the rural migrant workers' social net are also given in the end.

      Abstract:This paper analyzes quantitative data of papers which were originally published by Chinese University Journals on humanities and social sciences, and reprinted by "Replicated Journals of Renmin University of China" from 2008-2011. It is found that this group of University Journals is in different levels, regional distribution of good journals is unbalanced, and gap between "National 211 Project University" Journals and "Non-national 211 Project University" ones is enlarged, etc. which mean the competitive environment for University Journals' "survival of the fittest" emerges. However, the quantity and the quality of University Journals don't directly lead to a contradiction; neither "to be diverse" nor "focus on a specific area" is the only reformational approach for University Journals to seek further development.

      Abstract:The 2012 Chinese graduate student education and disciplines professional evaluation is based on the latest course catalogue released in 2011, following the thoughts and methods of the same series evaluation in the past and improving the evaluation process as well as perfecting the technology. The four national graduate school and 520 graduate training units are included in the comprehensive evaluation, furthermore 155 professional degrees evaluated firstly. The authors used of the trinity form of rankings, star and professional excellence rate to show the results of the evaluation. Finally, the paper has analyzed the current distribution situation of the graduate student disciplines.

      Abstract:The White Paper of Diaoyu Dao, an Inherent Territory of China implies a lot of principles of international law, including that China preempted the territorial sovereignty over Diaoyu Dao, the principle that a treaty shall be abided by the contracting parties safeguards China`s territorial sovereignty over Diaoyu Dao, the cession and prescription can't support Japan`s sovereignty claim over Diaoyu Dao and the principle that the illegal behavior does not produce a legal right refuses to Japan`s territorial claim over Diaoyu Dao and etc. The legal facts revealed by the White Paper also clearly show that Japan`s claim to the territorial sovereignty over Diaoyu Dao through preempting a non-owner land cannot be established and its actual control is not up to the standard of an effective control required in international law. China should actively use the legal facts revealed in the White Paper and the principles of international law implied in it to refute Japan`s sovereignty claims over Diaoyu Dao and make the international community know well the truth of the dispute over Diaoyu Dao between China and Japan. At the same time, China should continue to strengthen the actual control over Diaoyu Dao and its subsidiary waters to enrich the basis of international law for the dispute`s legal solution at last when the time comes in the future.

It is unworthy to repeal ratings reference regulation for so-called rating failure. Proper measures should be: Advocate government intervention to ratings reference and set related regulation; Establish a model of "market to produce, active rating, user to pay" to ensure supply of credit ratings information; Build a "unified, transparent, dynamic" recognization regulation on rating agency; Develop a special regulatory system to structured finance products rating.

      Abstract:Nozick's minimal states theory is forceful response for the new liberalism after world war two. The justice of state is based on laissez-faire;put the rights first in order to realize the liberalism;combination of good and value—new utopian is the main content of minimal states theory. Nozick's minimal state theory is not integrated theory with the same quality of theory, it is a contradiction in logical entity:it is not only has a tendency to utilitarianism, but also has the view of antiutilitarism;not only has the tendency of extreme liberalism, but also has the view of egalitarianism;not only has the realistic view, but also has the Utopian tendency. Understanding the meaning of the Nozick minimal states theory has an important reference value for China's construction of the service-oriented government.

      Abstract:Higher Normal School Education is the main part of the education in China. The state of the educational innovation ability of the graduates from normal Universities, which directly related to the cultivation of the innovative talents in China, is the essential condition for realizing the reformation of basic education. What's more, it is also an important issue which should be researched thoroughly by the talent reform of higher normal education in China. In some Higher Normal Universities, the patterns of talent cultivation have been created, which presents the innovative concept of cultivating talents. However, it also exist serious problems simultaneously giving rise to retard the cultivation and prominence of innovative talents and furthermore influencing the development of the whole education career eventually. In terms of the existing problems, consequently, it has been analyzed thoroughly from different aspects such as concept, methods in this paper.     • Empirical Study on the Evaluation System of Team Spirit in College Students

      Abstract:The team spirit cultivation for modern undergraduate is basic protection to promote their development by strengthening the validity and direction of education in ideology and politics. Based on the construction principles which are guiding and targeted, scientific and comprehensive, educational and incentive, counise and effective, the evaluation system of team spirit of undergraduates is built in this research report by Delphi consulting method and Analytic Hierarchy process. The system includes 3 firstr class index signs, 11second-class index signs and 30 third class index signs. The evaluation methods of the evaluation system are indicated from some aspects, such as evaluation organizations, evaluation procedures, evaluation time and treatment evaluation results to undergraduates. Some suggestions for the usage of the evaluation system are also given form some aspects, such as evaluation content, evaluation ways, evaluation management, evaluation results, evaluation function and improvement of evaluation system.
