Abstract:During the “Eleventh Five-Year” period, the Yangtze River Delta region has witnessed a significant increase in its GDP. However, the arable land is decreasing day by day. The fundamental reason lies in the extensive exploration and utilization of land resource. To prevent the continued deterioration of the shortage of land resources in the Yangtze River Delta, we must significantly enhance the intensity use of the land. Main countermeasures include further improvement and deepening of the rural “three centralized” model, revitalizing the stock construction land, fastening the development and utilization of land, strengthening the supervision after the approval of land, economizing the use of temporarily idle land, actively promoting land reclamation, making full use of the land replacement policy, constructing the examine system of land use and so on.

We find that there is a large difference in E-government readiness of different areas, and the E-government readiness scores tend to reduce from east to west, and all areas have a strong hardware, but the environment foundation is very weak. At last, it is suggested to strengthen the development of social informatization from three aspects: economic basis, communication infrastructure and human capital construction.

Abstract:This paper studies exogenous shocks impact on enterprise survival in a DSGE model. The calibration results of the model indicate that money preference shock has a small influence on firm survival, but it has long-run fluctuation. And technology shock has a long-run positive impact on the enterprise survival. The paper gets following results: First, money preference fluctuation has steady utility to firm survival; second, because technology fluctuation has positive impact on firm survival, we should encourage firms to innovation to enhance enterprise survival capacity.

Abstract:The research on liquidity-adjusted market risk is mainly based on static model at now. In this paper, the method of dynamic measurement of liquidity-adjusted market risk is proposed which is based on time-varying Copula. Time-varying Copula function is used to construct the joint distribution of liquidity risk and market risk, which can give attention to both non-normality of the two risks and their dynamic dependency. The liquidity-adjusted market risk La-VaR of Chinese stock market is calculated. The Kupiec test shows that, the time-varying Copula is better than constant correlation Copula in the aspect of forecasting the value of La-VaR, and the time-varying T-Copula is better than the time-varying Normal-Copula.

      Abstract (1566) HTML (490) PDF 1.71 M (980) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:IT capability based on RBV cannot provide firms with durative competitive advantage. IT capability consists of basic IT capability and critical IT capability. Meaning alignment of IT capability is that firm will select optimal basic IT capability compatibility according to difference of critical IT capability between two firms. This paper used Stackelberg model to research alignment of IT capability factors based on consumer theory. When competitor selected higher compatibility to IT service standards, the incumbent firm should enlarge critical IT capability advantage, which enable it to achieve vertical differentiation competitive advantage; when competitor selected lower compatibility to IT service standards again and enhance its critical IT capability, the incumbent firm only keep its critical IT capability advantage, which can achieve competitive advantage. Two kinds of competitive can transform each other, which enable competitive advantage to be persistence and dynamic.

The results show that financial performances become better at the current year and one year after ERP implementation. Financial performances are becoming worse at the second year and getting better at the third year. Operational performances become worse at the current year and one year after ERP implementation. In summary, ERP implementation has a better effect on financial performances than operational performances; it can’t improve retail enterprise performances significantly. There is no “productivity paradox of Information Technology” in retail industry of China.

      Abstract (1649) HTML (734) PDF 1.60 M (990) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:For the mess brought by the ESO plans of corporation, relevant persons pay more and more attention to their motives. So, we take the data of listed corporation during 2006-2009 as a sample, and focus on its motives such as executive power, peculiarity and the external surroundings. The analysis finds that power intensity of the executives, the scale of company and liquidity are positively related to the possibility that a corporation introduces ESO plan. We also find that the ownership concentration and financial leverage are negatively related to the probability of ESO plan launched. Just as we expected, the concave relationship between the risk and ESO plan shows that either high or low risk tends to launch ESO plan. According to our research conclusion, we probe into the balance mechanism of ESO interests, and come up with some recommendation of improving mechanism of listed corporation launching ESO in China.

By building the simultaneous equations model of firm performance, corporate governance, ownership and capital structure, controlling endogenous influence, using three-stage least squares (3SLS), and analyzing statistic of listed companies between 2008 and 2010, they argue that there are no obvious evidences to indicate that current corporation governance plays an significant role in advancing firm performance. In addition, this study develops and complements previous conclusions of the relation between corporation governance and performance, which is estimated through using single formulation models.

The two legal systems’ difference of regulation on the relation between the justice and the media is gradually reduced, the merging of national legal trend is taking place.
