    Abstract:
    In this article a method is investigated for the determination of low-valence titanium in slag containing a high titanium content. The residue is dissolved using H2SO4-HF-H3PO4 after tMFe, Fe2O3 and the part of FeO are separated from sample with FeCl3-HCl, and NH4 Fe(SO4)2 is added to oxidate low titanium. Then the standard solution of K2Cr2O7 is used to tit-rat Fe2+ in sample solution. The method possesed with a advantage of simple rapid and good repeatability so that it can be used in the roution determination.

    Abstract:
    This paper shows the experiments of salting-out distillation of hydrochloric acid, and makes an approach to the principles of this distillation from microcosmic and macroscopic points of view. In the end, several examples are listed, which are applications of the distillation technology in industry.

    A simple method of separating fringes has been discussed. Only setting a piece of depolarizable tracing paper in the common object beam path of holo-photoelasticity and using the differential-load double exposure method,the separate and non-modulated isopachics are obtained.

    Abstract:
    On the condition of avoiding the"undercutting,"and "sharpening" of worm tooth, it is now regarded as an important subject in the field of meshing principle studying of the "multiple-thread small reducation ratio" hourglass worm gearing with developable tooth surfaces to reduce the gorge pitch circle diameter of worm, raise meshing efficiency and strength of the wheel tooth and improve the unresonable structure of the pair. In this paper, a new type of hourglass worm gearing with developable tooth surfaces -"Sphere Re-nveloping Hourglass Worm Gearing" is studied. It shows that 4a satisfied result to above subject can be obtained if this worm gearing is applied.

    Abstract:
    This paper presents an improved mixed finite element method of analyzing elastic contact problems, in which a new numerical algorithm is developed to calculate the flexibility matrix of the contact region. With this method the contact problem of two teeth-engaging is initially solved as a three-dimensional elastic finite element analgsis, In comparison with mixed fimte element method, the improved mixed finite element method is much more efficiency in solving contact problems.

    Abstract:
    The paper developes the analytical equations of the power economic dispatch by using the modified coordination equation, it also developes the explicit functional relation between the hydro-coal conversion factor and the daily water consumption. Using these expressions,the calculating amount of the hydro-thermal system economic dispatch is greatly reduced and the convergency is much better. Finally a numerical example is given to show these advantages.

    Abstract:
    A computer method for comprehensive comparison between EHVAC and EHVDC is presented in this paper after analyzing the fundamental characteristics and studying the design methods of these two types of transmi-sson schemes. Some formulas are developed and an appropriate mathematical model is established. A generally applicable computer program is exploited which is acceptable to IBM-pc and its compatible micro-computers. The results of numerical practical project of the program are given to prove the correctness of the model and the program described in this paper,and it also shows that the method proposed is an efficient one with the practical values in power system planning.

    Because of unsatisfied relaying protection of short transmission lines, a new differential protection system consisting of microcomputer and optical fiber channel has been presented in this paper. According to this system, a new algorithm including a differential criterion used for the positive sequence currents caused by faults and a difference-half cycle Fourier filtering method has been set up.

    本文研究了气水喷咀向高温钢表面喷射雾化水滴的传热特性。通过试验获得了表面传热系数与高温钢表面温度、水流密度和水雾冲击速度之间的函数式,即h=5.343×10~8ω~(0.5678)u~(0.4328)t_s~(-2.025)这一试验结果为连铸二冷区设计合理的冷却制度和二冷水量的自动控制提供了理论依据。

    Abstract:
    本文用电子金相观察了GH49合金两种不同的晶界状态,试样在蠕变断裂过程中位错组态的变化,并研究了位错与晶内γ′相及晶界碳化物沉淀间的相互作用。研究表明:平直晶界试样,晶内蠕变主要是位错攀移越过γ′相所引起,晶界运动受控于晶界滑动。而弯曲晶界试样,晶内蠕变是位错攀移越过r′相及位错切割γ′相所引起,晶界运动受控于晶界滑动与弯曲段内的“回复”移动。因而,弯曲晶界提高了晶内蠕变速率而降低了晶界滑动速率。这就有效地阻止了裂纹的连接、扩展,大幅度地提高了蠕变第三阶段的断裂抗力,从而延长了蠕变寿命及蠕变断裂塑性。

    本文论述了红血球悬浮液流经平面狭缝时其血球压积的变化规律,亦即片流Fahraeus效应。采用平面光学玻璃特制的二维狭缝装置、灌流管路、显微摄影记录及图象处理系统等组成实验系统。研究了厚度为4、7、12、25、36(μm)的五种狭缝中流过不同压积(H_f=2.00~31.00%)的红血球悬浮液时相对红血球压积的变化,发现了显著的片流Fahraeus效应及其规律并与管流Fahraeus效应进行了比较。本研究结论对“片流理论”及体液循环生理学具有重要意义。

    In this paper, we propose some basic concepts of the performance evaluation on testing unconstrained optimization software and furtherdesign a performance testing package-OPTEST-1, which is used to test optimization programs on three areas: systems of nonlinear equations, nonlinear least squares, and unconstrained minimization. We also describe criteria of the performance evaluation, system functions, and the approach of performing OPTEST-1.

    Abstract:
    In this paper, on the basis of the compressive tests of composte rock, the different kinds of mechanical properties of composite rock under different bond states are discussed. Authers found that all mechanical properties of composite rock relate to the bond strength between layers and are dilferent when the layers' bond strength is changed. With increasing the bond strength between layers of the composite rock, the limiting strength, elastic modulus, and breaking energy increase, and this phenomenon is to be stability gradually when they reach some volue, with increasing the layers' bond strength, the poson ratio reduces.

    Abstract:
    In this paper, the machine( physical) parameters of the alternator system are on-line estimated on the basis of the derived system continuous-tims model, using Recursive Least-squares Estimation and Inverse Calculation Method proposed by Authors. Therefore, the estimated machine parameters can effectively track the changes of their true values and accomplish the fault detection for the alternator system. This paper gives a new way for machne parameter estimation and fault detection of the alternator systems.
