    Abstract:
One of the main obstacle to the development process of aviation product is that the separation between the design and manufacturing departments together with the one-way serial mode of design-manufacturing leads to the long development cycle and low quality. This paper analyzed the development process of complex aviation products, established the aviation product maturity model, and defines the important links and state nodes of the development process. An aviation product development process controlling technology based on capability maturity model was presented. This technology replaced the original review by maturity calculation, achieving the control of the development process and determining the nodes for manufacturing sector involved in. An evaluation method for aviation product development maturity level based on the two-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was designed to realize the multi-level and multi-factor evaluation of aviation products maturity degree. In order to verify the effectiveness of this method, it was applied to the development process of a type of aviation product. The results show that the manufacturing sector can effectively get involved in advance to implement the concurrent engineering, which is aimed at saving manufacturing cost by shortening the development time, controlling the development costs and improving the quality of products.

    Abstract:
Through coupling vibration analysis of the transmission system of a 1.5 MW wind turbine gearbox, a torsional vibration model of a gear drive system in wind turbines is established. The fourthorder RungeKutta integration method is applied to calculate the dynamic response of a gear system caused by wind loads, timevarying meshing stiffness, and system damping. The harmonic balance method is used to find the analytic solution. Based on the solution, a mathematical model for optimum gear system design is established. The model aims at minimizing the vibration acceleration of the planet gear and the total mass of the gear transmission system. The optimization toolbox in MATLAB program is adopted to obtain the optimal solution. A calculated example shows that the primary natural frequency of the gear system has been raised, the dynamic properties of the gear train have been improved remarkably, and the total mass of the gear train has been decreased.

    Abstract:
Various opinions still exist regarding the grain refinement of magnesium alloys resulting from Ce addition. We investigate effect of Ce addition on the ascast microstructures of AZ31 magnesium alloy. The research results indicate that adding from 0.5 wt% to 1.5 wt% Ce to AZ31 magnesium alloy does not effectively refine the alloy grains; instead, the opposite effect results, causing obvious grain coarsening. The coarsening trend is related to the amount of Ce. After adding 0.5 wt% Ce to AZ31 magnesium alloy, the average alloy grain size increases from 60 μm to 164 μm. Furthermore, increasing the amount of Ce added from 0.5 wt% to 1.5 wt% causes the average grain size to decrease gradually. The average grain size of AZ31 magnesium alloy with and additional 1.5 wt% Ce still exceeds that of the AZ31 magnesium alloy without additional Ce, however.

    Abstract:
The semi-empirical Kozeny-Carman (KC) equation, the most well-known permeability-porosity relation, is widely used in the field of seepage flow in porous media. However, the physical mechanisms behind the empirical KC constant are not clear, and the KC constant has not been proved to be a constant. The fractal scaling laws of pores have been extensively found in porous media. Therefore, the effective permeability of homogenous porous media is presented and the analytical expression of KC constant is derived based on the fractal characteristics of porous media and the microcosmic geometrical model. The results indicate that the fractal analytical expression of KC constant depends on the micro-structure of porous media. As a function of porosity and fractal dimensions, KC constant increases with the increase of porosity.

    Abstract:
Vehicle exhaust, dust and grease in tunnels are hard to be degraded, thus there will be more and more pollutants and the traffic safety will be influenced. Therefore, regularly cleaning tunnels is important for guaranteeing the traffic safety in tunnels. A tunnel cleaning method with dry ice is proposed, and a model of dry ice cleaning tunnel is developed based on the physical, chemical and cleaning properties of dry ice. Some experiments about the surface hole, surface temperature and the uniaxial compressive strength of the concrete are conducted. The surface damage and the compressive strength of the concrete is researched after the cleaning process. The test results show that:the dry ice cleaning method can thoroughly clean the surface of concrete;the surface damage and the compressive strength is little influence by the temperature and dry ice micro blasting. So dry ice cleaning method can be used for cleaning tunnel.

    Abstract:
Based on the real size and constrain of the wet clutch, the friction pair of temperature, stress fields coupling model, and the heat convection coefficient model are established. The transient thermal-structural coupling and the thermoelastic instability of the phenomenon of friction discs generated in overload tests are numerically simulated and analyzed with ANSYS/LS-DYNA. Additionally, the distribution of the hot spots in the circle direction and surface of the friction discs are revealed, the distribution of the stress and strain caused by the thermoelastic instability is analyzed and tested. The results show that hot spots and contact pressure are mutual promotion. The thermal expansion and stress concentration caused by temperature gradient lead to steel disc warp. The heat fading caused by the thermoelastic instability leads to steel disc failure.

    Abstract:
When the plastic hinge method is used to simulate the elasto-plastic properties of concrete-filled steel tubular structures, the plastic interactive yield surfaces of concrete-filled steel tubular column sections need to be defined.Although the fiber model approach can be well applied to the yield surface analysis, the numerical method is still complicated for the real applications. Therefore based on the experimental and theoretical researches on concrete-filled square steel tubular (CFST) members, this paper develops one method to determine the elastic element parameters. Then a simplified approach to quickly define the axial force-moment interactive plastic yield surface of concrete-filled square steel tubular columns is developed through theoretical analysis and a large number of parametric analyses. Finally, the fiber model method is adopted to verify the feasibility and validity of the proposed method. Results of the two methods are in good agreement, which indicates that the proposed method is reliable.

    Abstract:
As for the actuation redundancy, strong nonlinearity and uncertainty, a kind of single-point preview control approach for the unmanned high-speed four-wheel-independent-drive & steering (4WID-4WIS) vehicle path tracking is proposed based on the control allocation and the Active Disturbance Rejection Control(ADRC) methods. The vehicle single-point preview system dynamic model for path tracking is built. The control system architecture with the control allocation unit as the core is constructed. The decouple single-point preview ADRC controller for path tracking is designed. Then the quasi-inertial parts used to generate control objectives are proposed and its rationality is discussed. The control allocation solution method for the 4WID-4WIS vehicle path tracking is subsequently presented. The simulations are conducted to illustrate the validity of the single-point preview control method proposed. The results show that the unmanned high-speed 4WID-4WIS vehicle can track the circular arc double-lane change path rapidly and accurately.

    Abstract:
To explore the characteristics of deformation of sandstone under cyclic pore water pressure, the experiments with different axial stresses (60%, 70% and 80% of peak intensity) of sandstone subjected to cyclic pore water loading are investigated by using MTS815 rock mechanics testing system, and irregular small deformation in deformation curve of sandstone are also processed by wavelet transformation of Matlab. The results show that with the increase of constant axial stress, fatigue deformation under cyclic pore water pressure will accelerate the failure of the sandstone. With the increase of the number of cyclic pore water pressure, the deformation evolution of the plastic-loop is illustrated as sparse-dense-sparse. The deformation curves of sandstone under cyclic pore water pressure affected by many factors are decomposed, reconfigurable processed and evaluated by using wavelet transformation, which indicates that the basic curve with optimal decomposition scale fits well with the experimental curves and reveals the deformation evolution of sandstone.

    Abstract:
The electric field sensor for the measurement of electric field in the space where the sensor probe will cause distortion in the vicinity,so it will affect the measurement of electric field accuracy. This paper uses the separation of variables method to calculate the electric field distortion caused by spherical sensor probe in uniform electric field, and detailed analysis of the 10 kV voltage, the spherical probe size, electrode material and the measuring electrode pole coupling caused the impact of electric field distortion. According to the induced voltage of sensor and the linear relationship between electric field strength, using the impact factor matrix to correct the electric field distortion. The result shows that the vicinity of the probe and the primary measuring electrodes and sub-electrodes measuring produce more serious distortion in the uniform electric field. The average distortion rate is more than 27%;however,after the impact factor matrix is used to correct the electric field distortion, the average error is about 4.47%. By analysis of the measurement of the electric field distortion with the spherical probe of sensor,it is conducive to reduce the impact of distortion on the electric field measurement and to improve the accuracy of field measurement.

    Abstract:
This paper develops a generalized 3-dimensional 14-DOF dynamic model for hypoid gear which considers the time-varying friction coefficient and lubrication situation. We propose a mixed elastohydrodynamic lubrication(EHL) friction model of hypoid gear tooth contact to reflect the realistic lubricant situation in gear transmission system consisted of full film contact and asperity contact. Under the mixed lubrication condition, the effects of time-varying friction coefficient on gear dynamic is analyzed. The load sharing coefficient is used to calculate the instantaneous friction coefficient at each contact point along the contact path. Friction coefficient model based on mixed elastohydrodynamic lubrication(Mixed EHL) is incorporated into the dynamic model to predict the dynamic mesh force and transmission error with constant and time-varying friction coefficient. The simulation results under a wide range of speed and load show that the time-varying friction coefficient has a marginal effect on the dynamic response.

    Abstract:
XiaoJiang River is the largest tributary on the north of the middle part in Three Gorges reservoir area, because of predominant hilly cropland with purple soil, the dissolved nitrogen from surface and subsurface runoff caused by raining accounts for most part of the nitrogen pollution in water. This paper develops the annual pollution models based on the characteristics of topography and soil, etc., of the basin in order to study dissolved nitrogen pollution, and introduces a Semidistributed Land Usebased Runoff Processes (SLURP) hydrological model into the surface and subsurface runoff simulation which is an important part of nonpoint source pollution modeling. Integrated with the geography information system technology, the annual temporalspatial distribution of the dissolved nitrogen in the basin is simulated and the load at the watershed outlet is estimated from 2000 to 2007. The results show that the load from cropland is up to 68.3~76.8of the total load, in which over 85 from croplands and then rural settlement is 23.2~31.7.

    Abstract:
For cylindricity error evaluation, the Least Squares Method (LSM) is not good enough because of the big error, while the bionics algorithms such as Genetic and Ant Colony Algorithm need to set many parameters and converge slowly, an Artificial Bee Colony Optimization Algorithm is proposed to evaluate the minimum zone cylinder (MIC). This Algorithm refers the tabu strategy for tabu search algorithm to use the Tabu table to save the local optimization results. It enhances the control effect of parameter limit and improves the global convergence ability. Experiment results indicate that this method can converge to the global optimization very quickly. The average runtime is nearly 1.2 s. It is applicable to the realtime processing system such as ThreeCoordinate Measuring Machine.
