    Abstract:
    There are three actions of different features exerted upon the work surface by the abrasive grains on the working surface of the wheel during grinding process: they are elastic scratching, plastic pressing and cutting. The heat transformed by these three actions as well as the rubbing between the wheel bond and the work surface contributes to the integrated average temperature on the contact zone between the wheel and the work. In this paper the measurement and calculation of this integrated average temperature and the temperature distribution in the work are given, the influences of various grinding parameters are also studied.

    Abstract:
    In this Paper, a new automatic mesh generation scheme is present, which combine the teeth contact analysis with the modelling of finite element cotact analysis. This procedure is different from the ordinary auto - mesh - generation scheme. The presentation of this new procedure makes it possible to analyze the elastic contact problem of meshing gears by a finite element method.

    Abstract:
    This paper describes a part of the experiments concerning the viscoelasticity of human blood, which are based upon the theories lead by the authors. The data from the experiments are compared with those in the literatures. The effect of cell hematocrit on viscoelasticity is especially discussed and a new viscoelasticity index is defined to eliminate this effect.

    Abstract:
    A B-spline finite etement method for solving general 2-D electromagnetic field problems is established. The B-spline bases for a general field region are constructed using the Bspline interpolation functions defined on a rectangle which contains the region. The Dirichlet boundary condition is dealt with by means of the generalized variational principle. Two numerical examples are given that show the characteristics and practical value of the method.

    Abstract:
    An A. C. load flow analysis of the reliability evaluation of composite generation and transmission systems is presented on the basis of a fast outage simulation algorithm and an optimal model of active and reactive power adjustment after outage contingencies. The information of the first -level outage events is utilized for simulating higher -level outage events in the fast outage simulation algorithm ; the optimal model is satisfactory in speed and accuracy with the application of concentric relaxation and linear increment constraint on the comprehensive adjustment of active and reactive power. As an example. the IEEE Reliability Test System is tested and the results show that the method is accurate and well-matched in speed with the method studied by R. Bllinton, et al.

    离散辐射强度法计算辐射传热是热流密度法的一种修正方法,它引进了比辐射热流密度更原始的变量即辐射强度。本文采用紊流动量方程、K-ε双方程紊流模型及能量方程相结合的方法对冲击加热炉内温度场进行了数值模拟,其中能量方程的源项辐射传热采用离散辐射强度法计算,为以对流传热为主的综合传热过程提供了一种理论研究途径。

    Abstract:
    In this paper, the duplex yield character (DYC) of dualphase steel has been discussed. The results of the tests show that the DYC is due to the martensite deformation from the elastic state to the plastic state and the microvoid formed from the interphase boundaries. The DYC is directly affected by the phase ratio and the shape of structure. According to the different deformation character of the duplex phase, the uniform deformation of dual phase steel divide into three stages.

    Abstract:
    根据镜质组煤微组分在中、低角区0.2nm~(-1)≤S≤4nm~(-1)(s=2sinθ/λ)的x射线散射强度分布,研究了煤大分子的堆垛结构.建立了由煤大分子弯曲层局部平行堆垛形成的3维结构单位。当镜质组煤微组分的Wc=84%~92%时,这种3维结构单位呈“似流体”分布。在Wc≈89%时这种“似流体”结构最为突出。

    Abstract:
    A numerical enthalpy method is proposed for solving the multi-dimensional phase change problem by coupling the enthalpy and the moving boundary. Its basic feature is to sepasate appearent and latent heat terms by transforming the standard enthalpy relation and to couple them into the latent heat term by introducing the idea of phase change rate between the axes and simultaneously to correct the heat flux of the inflowing/outflowing phase change control volume element , so that the accuracy of numerical solution is improved and the moving boundary can be accurately followed.

    Abstract:
    A second law analysis is carried out on convective heat transfer in fully developed region with constant wall temperature through circular, trianglar and rectangular ducts. Besides, the entropy generation rate expression is obtained and the loss rate of available energy in convective heat transfer processes is defined as well. At the same time, the influence of initial temperature difference between fluid and wall as well as the influence of fluid friction on the loss rate of available energy is discussed. Then, the thermodynamic performances of several typical ducts are compared. Finally , the optimum initial temperature difference with the minimum loss rate of available energy is also obtained.

    Abstract:
    In order to describe nonproportional cyclic plasticity of polycrystalline metallic materials, the hardening function is separated into three factors, in which,f1 is related to the hardening parameter determined by plastic strain range, and f2 and f3 are related to the change of plastic deformation path characterized by a measure of nonproportionality. The main features of this work are: (a)cyclic hardening is described by f1, and additional hardening is separated into instantaneous and hereditary one which is described by f2 and f3 respectively; (b)a general form of the evolution of f1(i= 1,2, 3) is proposed; (c)parameters a1 and a3 are introduced to keep the memory to the largest cyclic hardening and additional hardening respectively; (d)various hardening mechanisms are embedded into a thermomechanically consistent constitutive equation. The capability of the developed model is verified with the analysis of biaxially nonproportional experiments by Benallal et al, Tanaka et al and Ohashi et al.

    Abstract:
    The A12O3 layer on moten aluminium alloys can be damaged in some technological conditions. By capillarity the molten metal will rise to the surface through the broken place on the loyer and form a new A12O3 layer which is not compact and can be passed by molten metal too. This is a self-organic process by which a self growing A12O3-A1 composite with some thickness will be formed on the surface of the molten metal. The proportion of A12O3 in the material can be controlled from 20%-80% while the qualities especially the hardness and tensile strength, are all higher than thoses of the powder metallurgy materials.

The computation of the number of equivalence relations on a finite set is converted into the computation of the number of partitions on the set, and a recursive formula for computing the number of equvalence relations in a finite set is deduced, which has some theoretical significance and pratical value.

    实序列斜圆卷积是二维卷积多项式变换计算法中的核心计算。本文利用实值变换的快速性及斜圆卷积的特殊性,导出一种计算N(N=2~M)点实序列斜圆卷积的新算法。它完成该计算仅需N·(log_2N+1)次实乘、3N·(log_2N-(1/3))次实加,这分别仅约为FFT计算法所需的1/4、1/2。如将它与多项式变换法结合计算N×N(N=2~M)二维实圆卷积,则仅需N~2·log_2N次实乘、4N~2·log_2N次实加,这分别仅约为FFT计算法所需的1/8、1/3。

    Abstract:
    The problems that the bump of coal and methame in the mine is contraled by the stress of longwall and that the coal and methane bump in the mine is affected by the physical properties of the coal are analysed and discussed through some specific bump cases. It is shown that the compressive stress, the content of the methane of the coal, and the bump of coal and methane are directly affected by the content of the ash and the volatile of the coal.
