    Abstract:
    A method of modifying the double enveloping worm gearing with developable tooth surface has been proposed to reduce the sensibility of the worm gearing to the manufacturing errors. The tooth contact and kinematic precision of the modified worm gearing with manufacturing errors has been investigated by the TCA method. The results show that by the modification, the edge contact resulting from the manufacturing errors is avoided or effectively relieved,and the kinematic error of the worm gearing is obviously reduced.

    Abstract:
    Two teeth diffenence cyclodal gears are the key parts in cyclodal reducer. The plate abrasive wheel method which is widely used at home has very low precision and productivity. So it' s the common problem to be immediately solved. The profile grinding technology discussed in this paper has been proved by practical production to be an efficient and economical cycodal gear manufacturing method.

    Abstract:
    The distribution of tre bearing loads of the domestic 200MW turbine generator set, which depends on their relative positions,have been studied under different supporting conditions. An iterative method has been developed to calculate all of the bearing loads, which takes the structural static indetermination and nonlinearities of the oil film forces into consideration. Variations of the bearing relative positions and their influence on the stability of the rotor-bearing system, have also been discussed.

    Abstract:
    To subgrade the shape-curve roughness of a contact roller,the three-coordinate CNC milling machine has been enlarged as a CNC lathe and CNC grinding machine so that the contact rollers can be lathed and grinded by the same installation and NC program. Furthermore,an NC program of dealing with complex curve contact rollers has been developed. Acceptable metal shaving contact rollers of cycloidal gears and involute gears in shape grinding have been manufactured with this method.

    Abstract:
    A new method of computing the cutter specifications and machine settings for the manufacture of spiral bevel and hypoid gears is studied. And a software system which includes the program models of new and old methods is developed. The system can perform the computations such as blank dimensions,cutting and grinding settings,tooth contact analysis and under cut check of SGM,SFM,SGT,SFT,HGM,HFM,HGT,HFT cutting methods. The new method can allow the user to give the position and length of contact pattern,the direction of contact path and the relative anglar acceleration. The system can be easily operated.

    A new finite element method is presented in this paper to analyze the thermo- elastic contact problem with heat input on meshing tooth faces. The computational model of meshing gear has been established and the frictional heat input on meshing tooth faces is estimated. In addition, 2-D finite element analysis program for this kind of problem is listed. The test and practical examples are given to show the validity and versatility of this method.

    By using the finite element elastic contact analysis method combined with the I-DEAS engineering analysis software, this paper studies the strength of the cone roller enveloping worm gearing,which is a new type of worm gearing transmission,on SUN-4 working station. It also analyzes loading distribution among meshing gears, the contact force distribution along the contact line ,the bending stress distribution and the contact stress distribution of the cone roller enveloping worm gearing with three-tooth meshing instantaneously. Besides,it provides the theoretic basis in the further researches for the new type of worm gearing transmission.

    Traditionally, the surface contour instrument or three-coordinate machine was used in 3-D curued surfaces measuring system. Now triangle measuring device using laser is installed on the three-coordinate machine and replaces the contact pin. But this method is still limited by the three-coordinate machine itself. On the basis of studying the principle of trinagle the measuring method,this paper has put forward to the two-triangle measuring system and given out the designing method.

    The blacken way and laser parameters of technology for QT60-2 have been optimized. The regression equations on the depth and width of the hardened layer between technology parameters have been set up resoectively. The camshaft in C4102 diesel engine has been been heated with laser. The results show that the average depth of hardened layer is more than 0. 31mm, the average hardness on surface is no lower than Hv0.1940,and the maximum deformation of radial rake is controlled within 0. 02mm.
