    Abstract:
    This paper introduces some resarch results on sediment model experiment of navigation in the course of construction. including the laws of erosion and deposit change of sediment in dam area,depositional configuration of sediment in the approaches of temporal ship lock, distribution and surface sea-level of deposition,speed of return deposition, volume of deposition of frustrating navigation, grain grade of deposition and the effect of deposition on navigable condition in open channel and temporal ship lock and so on. Some measures of amelioration are presented,which have important value to the construction of the project.

    This article discusses the designing method of complex shapes with NURBS. The general design process of curve and surface is put forward in this paper,and the correspondent mathematical expressions and computational method are also presented. Because of the superior feature of NURBS, these methods are very suitable for constructing different kinds of shapes,and easy to use in engineering applications. Finally,the authors summarize various kinds of method of geometry design, based on NURBS.

    Abstract:
    A method using possibility theory and fuzzy logic is introduced. Possibility functions of each feature are determined during training. Methods of fuzzy logic are used to combine the possibility of different features. This Chinese character recognition system consists of a pre-classifier and a two-level fine classifier. In order to handle deviations of the characters,a fuzzification of features is introduced. This method is used to develop single-font classifiers. The whole system consists of a font-classifiers and four single-font-classifiers.

    Abstract:
    In this paper the static stress distribution of closed valve during diastole under the peak across valve pressure difference is analyzed with nonlinear finite element method. We analyzed the three shapes i. e.,spherical,cylindrical and rotating paraboloid type valves, respectively as a result of computation, it is suggested that the maximum principal normal and shearing stress for rotating paraboloid type valve are smaller than those for the cylindrical and spherical type valves. It shows that there exist some similarities of the stress distribution among these three type valves.

    Abstract:
    The macromolecular structures of coal samples collected from Yutianbao, Nantong and Qingnian coal mines in Sichuan were studied and a model of structure for these coals was set up. On the basis of above mentioned work,experimental studies and theoretical analyses were made to investigate the characteristics of coal polarization in applied electric field. The results indicate that the rotation polarzation and the space polarization are the essential reason for the attenuation of electric current through coal samples,and that the space polarization is the main form of coal polarization.

    实验研究了管内同时设置旋流器和旗形动态插入件时油类介质的换热及流阻特性。旋流器为长100mm、丝径1.5mm、节距4mm的螺旋线圈。旗形件数目为1 ̄3片。实验表明,上述复合强化手段集中了两种元件的优点:换热系数高而阻力损失不大,且在层流区和紊流区都得到了强化。实验范围内综合判据之值高达2.76。

    Abstract:
    In this paper, experimental results on heat transfer performance of a low integral-fin tube, thermoexcel-C tube (C tube) and a new horizontal double-side enhanced condenser tube (GC tube) have been reported for condensation of R-11. Within our experimental scope,the overall heat transfer coefficient of the GC tube can increase more than 5 times that of the smooth tube . And the relevant friction factor inside the GC tube can be 7 times that of the smooth tube. The Second law of thermodynamics was applied to develop a new criterion to assess the heat transfer performance of the GC tube,the C tube,the low integral-fin tube,and the DAC tube[1] (another doubleside enhanced condenser tube). The result shows the heat transfer performance of the GC tube is superior to the other tubes from a thermodynamical viewpoint.

In the steady running,the excitation current will be adjusted in keep. power factor constant,and in dynamic running,it will be calibrated by means of power angle when the disturbance happened.For specified object,the improved algorithm of artificial intelligence controller is also presented in the paper,the simulation result shows that the control algorithm is satisfactory.

    This paper presented the principle and combinations of the mechanical transimssion test-bed with mechanical closed cycle and electric closed cycle. This system is composed of variable velocity driver, motor, generator, inverter and computer. It can be used both in mechanical closed cycle test-bed and electric ciooed cycle test-bed. The test-bed can keep a realting monitoring over the system and control the rotational speed and torque by computer. It can also simulate the real work condition of the test and to do the test. In this paper,the diminishable magnetization velocity modulation,invertiable control,the test data and curve,and the inverting efficiency as well as control scheme and presented.

    Upsetting, a typical hot deformation process, is simulated by using rigid-viscoplastic finite-element method, its instantaneous stress distribution over the interface between the die and workpiece being derived for the finishing upsetting stage. Based on these computations and in conjunction with elastic finite element method,die strength is then analysized. An optimization design for prestressed die inserts is adopted to decrease pressure being applied to the working surface of upsetting die,and in turn,to prolong its service life.

    In this paper,a new method of water flushing recovery of waste glsss is presented. The equipment of separation of glass from waste materials and it' s mechanisms are described.The relationship between the efficiency of separation of glass from waste materials and the physical and mechanical properties of these waste materials is analyzed. The experimental results of recovery of waste glass are given. It is found that the efficiency of recovery of glass is more than 90%.
