    Abstract:
    In this paper,a numerical simulation of the casting process for making the MMC.using the PEM, is studied.The convection of liquid metal and the release of latent heat of solidification are taken into account.The algorithm and program for axisymmetric casting model are developed to the problem of coupling between flow and heat transfer,as well as phase change.The variational curves of temperature,the position of flow front and the distrsbutions of volume fraction of solid metal in matrix and their variation with time are obtained.The influences of technological paarmeters to casting are discussed.

    Abstract:
    The edge finite element interpolation function of 1-forms for prism is derived.The electrical field intensity is used as the unknown variable.If the tangential component of electrical field intensity is an enforcing condition on the interface of eddy-current region and non-eddycurrent region,the tangential component of magnetic field intensity is a natural continuous condition.At last,the mixed elements of prism and hexahedron are used to compute a three dimensional eddy-current problem.

    Abstract:
    In this thesis,aiming at the characteristic of operation directing expert systems,we use the state of process characteristic parameter to describe the process condition(state).We propose a solving strategy batal on characteristic model.According to the solving-tree of process condition (state),the present process state can be obtained. An example of application illustrates that this method solves problem quickly and satisfy the real time directing operation.

    Abstract:
    This paper presents a new practical criterion for voltage stability based on the real-time information at the substation and the quasi-time information from power system.By using the criterion,it is effective to predict the bus voltage stability margin.This is of great importance to raise the security operation level and prevent voltage collapse.The practical criterion for voltage stability is tested on the IEEE-14-bus test system.It needs less calculation time and is very suitable for real-time control of power systems.

    Abstract:
    Based on the analysis and study on some existed models for two-dimensional Guillotine Cutting-Stock problem, it is pointed out that some kinds of the models may miss some good cutting patterns,and some may result in inadequate solutions because of only considering the patterns with the smallest waste. A kind of revised two-dimensional cutting-stock models are developed,which transform the two-dimensional problem into the one-dimensional one using the dimension-decreasing heuristic method and whose initial patterns are considered comprehensively. In this kind of models, not only the least waste,but also the other constraints,such as the demands and the relative area of the order plates are considered.

    The measurement of in-site crustal stresses are carried out in Yan Shi Tai coal mine.The outburst-proneness of 6# coal seam are studied with five indexes. Based on the strength testing of coal,the strength criterion is set up. The energy criterion is put forward in the light of engineering practice.According to the "three criteria" mechanical model,the prediction of danger zone of coal burst of 6# coal seam in this mine is carried out.

    A new idea "Pretreatment and cycle stream of control" and the scheme to put it into practice is presented. In space region,the circuit is designed to form chain and cycle,and in time region,the program is designed to distinguish the period and the instant.It is ensured that the pretreatment will be finished in the period and there is always a circuit to wait to the triggered at the instant. So the respond speed of the system is almost approximate to that one of trigger circuit.

    Abstract:
    The correlation dimension for the time series of blast furnace process varisble,such as blast volume, burden pressure drop and blast pressure etc.,have been estimated by using GP and modified GP algorithms.The predictublity analysis for the process variables have also been investigated.The results show that it is difficult to determine the chaotic attractor of blast furnace condition.It has been found that the predictablity for process variables can be used to niterpret and identity the precursor of biast furnace condition.
