    The Influences of modulus and dosage of sodium silicate and microwave energy heat up technology for instant strength and retained strength are measured and analyzed by the numbers. The results show that instant strength is reduced when the time of microwave energy heat up is too long. The engineering application design is recommended.

    Abstract:
    A fuzzy neural network diagnosis model is established on the basis of the vibration failure features of steam turbine-gernerator set, two kinds of fuzzy inputing method are discussed. At last, the performance of the fuzzy neural network is compared with that of the conventional BP network. The results show that the method presented is suitable for identifying the vibration failure of steam turbine-gernerator set, and it is more efficient in deal with the uncertain data than BP network diagnosis.

    A kind of simple model to analyze the coupling current between phases of Metal Oxide surge Arresters (MOA) is presented,and the coupling current in differet voltage degree using the partial capacitance method is calculated.The result of calculation is accorded with the practically measuring data.So it offeres a convenient and feasible way to minish the coupling current between phases when on line monitoring the MOA.

    Abstract:
    The theory of Artificial Neural Networks and image processing are analyzed. ANN theory is also investigated . A Back Propagation network is used for classification. Based on the ANN and feature extraction, a character recognition and entry system is developed. Its drawbacks are discussed. Some solutions are presented. An odd feature database is constructed to promote the performance for learning. A 3 layer feedforward network has been proved that it has the ability to identify hand written characters.

    Abstract:
    The outburst coal mass is a geologic body which had objectively existed before outbursts occurred.The authors think the occurrence and development of coal and gas outbursts are controlled by comprehensive factors according to a host of facts of outbursts in their researches,and all the factors belong to the system of "rock coal gas rock".Therefore the authors put forward a completely hypothesis,i.e.key layer and stress dike mechanism of coal and gas outbursts.This hypothesis emphasizes that the outbursts are the result of comprehensive action by coalbed gas,abutment stress and physical and mechanical properties of coal.Of special interest is emphasizing the geologic backgroud and conditions of outbursts to a great extent.Any phenomenon of outbursts which a person could observe could be qualitatively explained with the hypothesis so that the hypothesis can serve the study of geophysical field of outbursts perfectly.

    Abstract:
    Based on one dimensional constitutive equations of Revlon materials and the motion equations of the cable, the partial differential equations of the viscoelastic cable in inner and outer of plan under the gravity are investigated. Using Galerkin's method, a system of nonlinear ordinary equations is obtained. The analysis methods of the dynamic stability of viscoelastic cable are given. Finally, the effect of dynamic response of the cable, which is produced by elastic and viscoelastic parameters, is testified by the research of digital simulation.

    Abstract:
    A method based on radial basis function networks for forecasting chaotic time series is proposed.The nonlinear time series identification problem is formulated with a nonlinear autoregressive moving average(NARMAX)model then a new identification algorithm based on dynamic radial basis function networks is proposed.Then this method is applied to the estimation of embedding dimension for chaotic time series of Henon mapping and the confirmation of the chaotic phenomena in stock markets of China,from which one can get the desired results.Further research directions are also pointed out.
