    Abstract:
    An analytical study on the contact characteristics of the parallel axle toroidal CVT has been detailed. The shapes of the contact areas between the power roller and input as well as output disks are considered to be ellipses. Mathematical equations for estimating the torque capacity, power loss due to spin action, and contact efficiency of the elliptical contacts of the parallel axle toroidal CVT are formulated and expressed in the form of integrals which can be readily evaluated by numerical scheme. The contact efficiency calculations of the parallel axle toroidal CVT have been developed for a precise understanding of the spin effects under the effect of system parameters. Numerical results are presented, which can help the designer to select the proper system parameters to minimize the undesirable spin effects.

    Abstract:
    A method of diesel engine fuel system fault diagnosis based on wavelet transform and fuzzy C-means clustering is presented. Five characteristic parameters of reflecting fault state are distilled with wavelet transform of pressure wave of high-pressure oil pipe of diesel. The theory and generic approach of fuzzy C-means clustering algorithm (FCM) is given, and the validity of evaluating fuzzy clustering making use of partition coefficient, partition entropy and parting coefficient is pointed out. Identification of fault mode can be completed utilizing standard fault character modes established by FCM algorithm, and calculating and comparing the similarity degree between this standard mode and sample. The arithmetic is applied to all kinds of typical faults diagnose in the diesel engine fuel system. Measuring results indicate that the precision of fault diagnosis is increased with the analysis of wavelet and FCM.

    Abstract:
    Presently, ECG monitor encounters the trend of miniaturizing, intelligentizing and networking. Short distance and limited channels are shortcomings of the existed telemetric ECG (Electrocardiograph) monitoring system, while the existed remote monitoring system has the disadvantages of high cost and low Data Transfer Rate. Furthermore, neither of these two systems can implement real-time monitoring on the spot. So, an embedded ECG Monitor based on Linux, which successfully solves these problems, is introduced. With embedded system technique, this embedded monitor, which can not only realize real-time monitoring on the spot, but also analyse the ECG data, has the advantages of low cost, small volume, light weight, low power, high stability, powerful networking function and so on. And by communicating through Internet, which has the features of low cost, high data transfer rate and good expandability, it can also send ECG data to monitoring center in order to achieve long-term monitoring. The development of this monitor provides a new solution for medical instruments' implementation and networking, and is of certain reference value.

    Abstract:
    The study of individuation is an important issue of the distance education. It is one of the important tasks to arrange individuating education resources. A method of arranging and adjusting individuation education resources is proposed to satisfied with students' individuality based on the principle theory of AI, using natural frequency method to calculate the posterior probability, and uniting with the confidence. The authors also give an example of arranging and adjusting individuation education resources with this idea.

    Abstract:
    The developmemt and research of taking fuel cell /battery as electric vehicle power is a new direction in abroad. A real-time simulation model for power driving system of a fuel cellbattery powered electric virtual vehicle is established. This electric vehicle powered primarily by 30 kw proton exchange membrane (PEM)fuel cells, with Lead-acid battery as assistant power, and with focus classis as virtual vehicle classis.The electric vehicle is simulated on the advisor platform, and the NEDC driving pattern simulation results show that the electric vehicle can satisfy the need of performance.

    Abstract:
    The Dynamic Causality Diagram methodology is a new probabilistic reasoning model based on Belief Network. To some extent, it is similar to the Belief Network in structure. So that knowledge from one can be transformed into the other on some conditions. To begin with, this paper discusses the similarities and differences between them, and finally presents a transformation algorithm from Dynamic Causality Diagram into Belief Network. The algorithm is composed of two parts: a mapping algorithm of structure and a generating algorithm of conditional probability tables.

    Abstract:
    Survivability is defined as the capability of a system to fulfill its mission, in a timely manner, in the presence of attacks, or accidents. A key characteristic of survivable systems is their capability to deliver essential services in the face of attack, failure, or accident. Thus, it is important to deliver essential services in the survivability network system. Mobile Agent has a character of motion besides reactive, autonomy and oriented-objective as a new technology. By discussing the characters of survivability network system and mobile agent, this paper presents a model for essential services mobility based on mobile agent-MESMMA. This paper mainly focuses on the design of both MESMMA system and mobile agent inner architecture.

    Abstract:
    The wavelet transform is a new subject developed quickly in the past ten years. Compared with the Fourier transform, the wavelet transform is a part of time-frequency transform. The most important character is that it can be used to transform a signal into basic units at different scales and location, each unit represents a component of original signal difference from others. The wavelet transform has been proven to be a powerful and efficient tool for processing signal due to this character. This paper introduces the de-noising principles of the wavelet transform. It is proved to be an effective method by the simulating analysis.

    Abstract:
    The traditional sound broadcast system of bus makes use of MPU. It's shortcoming is have lower dependability, at the same time the maintenance and upgrade is difficult. In order to solve these problems, an intelligent sound broadcast system of bus makes use of Complex Programmable Logic Device(CPLD) and sound chip ISD2560 is introduced, and the principle of design is analysed. Because of the ability of In System Programmability of CPLD's JTAG, and take full advantage of the resource in CPLD, this system have no use for MPU. So, the hard circuit of this system is simple, and the system is easy to debug, upgrade and has very high dependability and better practicability.

    A new-style STM is presented. With its automatic advancing, braking and locking devices, it can achieve the tunneling state semi-automatically. Scanning programmed makes it work more quickly. A special software is used to manipulate the imagines. This gives us a better way to know the information of the surface of the specimen. By comparing typical images obtained with the acknowledged ones, its resolving capability given transverse is 0.1 nm, and vertical is 0.01 nm. Several images are given as samples.

    Abstract:
    3 stable and 6 stable structure of electronic states for La_(3) and La_(4) are found using the density functional method B3LYP with relativistic effective core potentials, respectively. The most stable electronic state is of D_(3h )structure for La_(3) and the planar C_(2v )structure for La_(4).The analysis of the relationships among these various geometrical configurations, based on the Jahn-Teller effect, vibronic interaction and the resolution of group representations, is in agreement with the calculated results.

    Based on thermodynamics of positive and nega tiveenergy spectrum systems the complemental correspondence relations of the stabilizing criterion between the pcsitive and negative energy spectrum systems have been established. And then according as the Landau's theory, the theory for the exsitent condition of negative energy spectrum, and combing with the exact gravitational formula revised by general relativity has demonstrated that the high-density self-gravitationa l matter are the negative energy spectrum systems. Finally, on the basis of these complemental correspondence relations combing with the specific free energy of bigh-density self-gravitational systems, the stability of the negative energy spectrum systems have been analysed.

    Abstract:
    Because of the strong interferences, such as discrete spectrum interferences (DSI), white noise and pulse-shaped interferences, it is still a difficult work to extract the partial discharge (PD) signal for transformer online monitoring techniques. Through deeply study on the automatic selection of threshold value and mother wavelet, the wavelet-based de-noising method for partial discharge signals is proposed. The analyzing results on simulation signal and field-measured signal indicate that the proposed method is fit for de-noising white noise but for DSI the comparably worse de-noising results is acquired. Hence it is predicted that good de-noising results will be achieved with the wavelet-based de-noising method combined with digital filtering method fitting for de-noising DSI.

    Abstract:
    The paper researches on the degradation of LAS (Linear Alkyl benzene Sulphonate) by combining AS1.860 immobilized with low intensity ultrasonic irradiation. The paper also discusses the influence of pH, rotary velocity, LAS concentration and the condition of low intensity ultrasonic irradiation on the degradation of LAS, the degradation rate of LAS is the main index of our experiment, the results of orthogonal test shows that low ultrasonic irradiation can increase the metabolizing of microorganism cells and facilitate the biodegradation of immobilized cells to LAS, here we research the degradation condition of 50mg/L LAS simulation wastewater with low ultrasonic irradiation, and the results show that the influence is obvious, the optimization degradation rate is about 83%, nine point five percent higher than that of the immobilized cells without ultrasonic irradiation.

    大肠杆菌的破碎方法对包含体的纯度有较大影响.采用酶解和超声波相结合的方式进行了大肠杆菌的破碎实验研究,考察了溶菌酶用量、酶解温度、超声处理功率和时间等因素对菌体破碎程度的影响,通过测定破碎液的A650,A280,A260 nm来反映细胞的破碎程度和胞内蛋白及核酸物质的释放情况.在优化的条件下,每克湿菌体添加2 mg溶菌酶,30 ℃酶解60 min、500 W超声破碎50次后,经分离洗涤可获得纯度达57%的包含体.本方法可获得纯度更高的包含体,利于重组蛋白的进一步纯化.

    Abstract:
    According to determine the non-equilibrium solidification path and local liquid solute concentration in the macro transport model during solidification process of binary alloys, the two kinds of micro-scale solidification models are discussed detailedly, viz. solidification kinetics model and miceosegregation model. The current research status of deterministic solidification kinetics model and semi-analytical microsegregation model are reviewed comprehensively, respectively. The main influencing factors of the two models have also been discussed, viz. undercooling and nucleation rate & back-diffusion and coarsening. Further more, the practical value in the coupled numerical simulation of alloy solidification and the future developmental directions of the micro-scale solidification models are elaborated.

    To make DICOM devices and non-DICOM devices compatible, we need to convert the file format from one to the other. The characteristics of DICOM image file format and normal image file format are studied. The two kinds of file information are construcated, and the file format conversion is implemented. The authors develop a software to convert the file formats between DICOM files and Non-DICOM files. It has been successfully used in PACS, which are operating at hospitals, such as Hospital of anhui province. It is shown that the file format conversion can be implements and can not lose information, and can meet the basic need.

    The authors establish the physical and mathomatical model of the Marangoni convection in liquid bridge with liquid encapsulation (or two immiscible coaxial liquid columns). A Numerical simulation of the Marangoni convection in liquid bridge with liquid encapsulation is performed by employed vorticity-streamfunction method and the Alternative Direction Implicit scheme in finite difference. The distribution of temperature and flow in two liquid columns is then obtained. The influence law of the dynamic viscosity ratio of the inner liquid to the outer liquid to the Marangoni convection in liquid bridge with liquid encapsulation is obtained.

    Abstract:
    The separating characteristic of element in cumulate MSW is a very important base to investigate the synthetically managing technology and estimate the water environment effects in Three Gorge Reservoir (TGR). The experiment to marinate the cumulate MSW under 135 meters for TGR in water is finished, and the same time, the Separating Distributing Coefficient (SDC) and the Separating Velocity Rate (SVR) of each heavy metal in water are presented, too. The experiment results show that the SDC of Cd is the smallest, the Ratio for Water and MSW (RWM) and marinating time play an important role in SDC and SVR, the SDC and SVR change smaller while the RWM get to 400, the separating content of heavy metal can reach 0.75 during three weeks, SVR decreases more with marinate time's increasing, and SVR gets an limit value with smaller RWM. The results can be a base for deeply studying the managing technology and the cumulate MSW under 135 meters for TGR.

    A mixed model using stairs and elevators together to evacuation the persons was built. The computer simulation on the optimum of the occupant evacuation time is realized with the data of Chongqing hotel. When 23 percent of people using elevators, the optimum evacuation time are respectively 938.7 s and 917.4 s. The analysis of the simulation may be used as valuable scientific references for the performance based on fire protection of buildings and the prescription of the emergency plan.

    Data receiving system of GPS system based on Linux was completed. The embedded MCF5272 system, M12 and G18 modules were used in the application based on uClinux. Taken MCF5272 as core, satellite position data were obtained through GPS(Global Positing System)module M12,and uClinux operation system was used in the system for controlling. By G18 module, the GPS data can be transmitted to wireless mobile network linked to Internet and received by remote server, which had been linked to Internet also. The constitution of embedded system is gived and the principle of GPS is introduced. The soft for GPS receiving is realized in uClinux system with C language, and the test data are gived in the end. The resolution of the system is that latitude and longitude: 1 milliarcsecond, height: 0.01 m, velocity: 0. 01 m/s.

    In measuring the steel wire rope, the key problem is to detect and eliminate the measure error for wheel spin. In order to measure the length of steel wire rope precisely, the velocity ratio of the wheel of steel wire rope and driving windlass is adopted for detecting wheel spin and the accumulated pulse error is also adopted to eliminate the round off error. Phase zero is used to remove the jam pulse of electromagnetism. The result shows the system works reliably and the measure error is less than 0.2%.

This paper presents a systematic analysis of the key problems in controlling the geological hazards in the Three-Gorge reservoir area with focus on problems of landslides and rockfalls, and proposes solution measures in four main aspects: 1) development of reliable laboratory testing and field monitoring equipment and technology which can measure the hydro-mechanical properties of potential sliding surfaces, so to determinate the shear strength of a sliding landmass and its controlling parameters, especially over long periods of time and varying hydraulic conditions; 2) development of reliable methods of characterization of the water-level fluctuations of the reservoir as well as the vulnerable landmasses on its banks, and to standardize the methods for stability assessment of rockfalls and landslides with site specific geological and climatic conditions, and to provide the theoretic al foundations for predicting landmass movements and engineering measures for their prevention; 3) development of reliable in situ long-term monitoring technologies which can automatically and continuously collect the varied changes of key physical parameters controlling the evolution of moving landmasses, so to prepare the pre-sliding warning alarm information in time; 4) development of theoretical analysis tools based on the modern theory of nonlinear and irreversible processes, which is used to study the failure mechanism of rockfalls and landslides and their control methods.

    Abstract:
    By experimental study of release characteristics bottom silt of total nitrogen (TN) & total phosphate (TP) in the Three Gorges, the influence and cause of pH value to Three Gorges bottom silt TN & TP release are analyzed. pH values is between 3.98 to 11.05 the release capacity of TN & TP reaches maximal in 3 days and pH values is between 11.05 to 11.94 the release capacity of TN reaches maximal in the 3 days. While pH value between 11.05 to 11.94, the release capacity of TP reaches maximal in 1 days; If pH value is lowered, the maximal release capacity of TN is enhanced: The maximal release capacity of TP basically has no changes on the condition of pH values between 3.98 and 10.07, but its maximal release capacity rises extremely obvious if pH value is between 10.07 to 11.05. At the same time, the existence of latent danger of the Three Gorges bottom silt TN & TP to water quality is explained, and the basis of eutrophication treatment in the aspects control of N & P nutrients for theThree Gorges is supplied.

    By means of revered cycle loading tests on the two specimens of short shear wall and unbonded prestressed floor system, the authors analyze the effect on the flexural strength coefficient between walls and beams of cast-in-placed slab and torsion beam. It complements the test results in terms of computer analysis. It brings forward some design method that the flexural strength ratio in this dimension structure system should be amplified than the criterion.

    Using the PHOENICS software with CAD, the 3-dimensional airflow around a car is numerically simulated, the wake flow is discussed in detail. The results show that due to the complexity of the body shape and the interaction of the ground, the external flow is very complicated and shows well-developed turbulence. In the wake area, because of the appearance of flow separation and towing vortices, and the formation of the horseshoe vortices, the drag is in general increased.

After the present situation and characteristics of N and P pollutions analyzed and statistical method, flux method and modeling method adopted to estimate the quantity of N and P from upstream and reservoir area, the pollution loads of point and no-point pollution source, the conclusion that the main source of N and P pollutants are from both upstream of Reservoir and non-point pollution.

    With the development of offense and defense strategy in future war and the application of high tech weapon, the demand is much improved to the resistibility level of defense engineering. LS-DYNA3D software is adopted to simulate the situation causing by the explosion of the commonly short concrete column and Short Concrete Column with Steel tube confined. The comparison includes chamber causing by explosion and nodes' displacement. The results show that steel tube-confined concrete structure can confine the displacement of core concrete, improve the structure's capacity of resisting explosion effectively, and enhance structure's elasticity and firmness.

    Abstract:
    The problem of optimal standby capacity and its valuation in Power Pool is very important and complicated. On the basis of researching literatures concerned, this paper constructs an optimal standby capacity model and researches the problem of pricing optimal standby capacity and determining power price on the user-side. The result shows that the optimal standby capacity at some period t is completely determined by the probability distribution density function of power load demand at this period and surplus power loss and insufficient power loss, and the price of optimal standby capacity is determined by real power price of entering power grid and the power price of forecasting load demand, and the expected power price on the user-side consists of the settlement price with grid loss on generation-side and reasonable gains and expected additional loss.

    Abstract:
    In the analysis on the investment decision of enterprise under uncertainty, NPV is not applicable. From the view of the real option, uncertainty makes the monopoly enterprise delay the investment. This paper analyses the problem of investment decision under different assumptions in the option-game framework, taking the uncertainty and competition into account. Delay is not optimal for the non-monopoly enterprise. The symmetry and the information completeness of the enterprises will affect the investment strategic and equilibrium of the game.
