    Abstract:
    Surface mining, its gross is more than 80% as that of solid mineral deposit already exploited at present, has some characters such as large capability, vast investment, high economical venture. With development of surface mining technology, it is prone to be huge and efficient equipment, automatic control system, continuous technique, combined development system. As for this rapid development, however, traditional education model adopted by domestic university can not meet the growing increasing demand. Based on the present situation of surface mining technology in the world, a new pattern of training professional talent was brought out. That is to say, in order to enhance the educational efficiency, and keep up with the latest international technology development of surface mining, we will have to adjust the present curriculum setting and increase the ratio of practice.

    An investigation was conducted among the undergraduate students to explore the reform of teaching methods in higher education. The investigation results show that the mainstream of the current teaching methods is making the students passively study. The four teaching methods, class discussion, case studies, guest speakers and group work, are proposed for exploring the interactive teaching methods. The advantages and disadvantages of each method are discussed. The experiences on how to successfully apply the methods to teaching are described.

And the teaching quality supervision and evaluation system of Chongqing University are analyzed and discussed. The results indicate that : 1) Consummating the supervision measures in the process management and the teaching quality supervision and evaluation system considering both construction process and results are the basics of enhancing teaching quality; 2) it is the key to establish a teaching quality supervision and evaluation system with a core of teaching superintending and decision-making, which includes information collection, system and quality evaluation analysis, information feedback, and controlling system.

    Combining the practice of superintendence in the School of Pharmacy, the authors probe into the characters of superintendence in sub-colleges and departments of a university, expound the structure of supervising staff and requirements of self development, propose the overall construction of the superintending system and several relationships that should be handled properly in superintendence. And then, the standardizing construction of superintendence in colleges and departments of a university is discussed in order to promote the collegeand department superintendence from spontaneity to consciousness and the transformation of randomness to normaliztion and scientificity.

    Abstract:
    Through investigation and analysis on the present situation of resources share in the libraries of different university in the Chongqing University City, a comprehensive management system is pointed out. Relative standards and criterions are established in order to provide the literature service in the University City. The real literature resource share would support the development of Chongqing’s education industry and the University City.
