Abstract:British urban planning education has passed longterm development, and formed its own mature system。British urban planning education may be divided into 3 stages：the basic knowledge,the specialized theory knowledge and the choice of main direction.At the same time, by analyzing the three stages courses, combining with Zhengzhou Institute of Aeronautical Industry Management 09 Teaching Town Planning schemes, this paper puts forward amendment suggestions.

Abstract:We did a sample survey to the current status of postgraduate training and employment situation. The result shows that there is a significant correlation among the postgraduate professional qualification (comprehensive results), the academic level (papers published), and other factors such as political selfcultivation and employment levels. We found the quantitative relationship between variables by applying an empirical test. Then, we proposed corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for quality training and employment, which provided a reference to the training and teaching for postgraduate students.

Abstract:The architectural design of the visual arts and the musical creation of the hearing arts have a wide range of contact in the use of formal beauty. Especially, both of them have the same points in musical rhythm, and they can be inspired by each other in conceiving. The architectural design which combined with musical rhythm will bring people a variety of aesthetic experience.

Abstract:Most of the northern part of Zhejiang Province cities and towns are located in hilly areas or near mountains, and the existing “Plains Resources” development tends to saturation, so the government and the designers’focus gradually shifted to how to develop the hilly areas in a reasonable, effective and sustainable way. In this paper, with the combination of “university students innovation credit reform of Zhejiang province” teaching practice, and the integration of sociology, urban planning study, architecture, science, living environment knowledge, we rely on new technology of threedimensional GIS , from the theoretical and practical aspects to set up the planning and design model “cities and townstownshipvillage”, which is in line with the characteristics of Zhejiang northern hilly areas, and can provide reliable scientific aids for the suburbs and rural areas’ planning and architectural design.

Abstract:Guiding by city problems, this paper analyzes the landscape studies’subject system and knowledge structure based on sciences of human settlements. Taking the reform of subject in Anhui Institute of Architecture& Industry as an example, we draw several conclusions about landscape studies major construction.

Abstract:In this paper, we take civil engineering of Beijing Jiaotong University as an example to explore how to use some measures, such as reasonabletargetlocating, multilevel training model, relying on subject advantage, using scientific research to bring theory and practice teaching reform, to actively promote the reform of training model of civil engineering professionals, to provide China with good civil engineering talents who have hard theoretical basis, high overall quality, strong ability to practice and innovation, as well as development potential.

Abstract:Through analysis of employment condition of engineering management major within the past three years, combined with features of newly established engineering management major within college of civil engineering, a guiding ideology of major construction is presented. Meanwhile, the major orientation, the cultivating mode, the setting of courses as well as the practice training are discussed, and the longterm development target is suggested.

Abstract:It is a common problem of higher education in P. R. China that low project participation degree during engineering education process leads graduates can hardly meet the requirement of enterprises. We analyzed reasons of this situation, and proposed some measures such as exerting specialty teachers’ effort and reforming training project. These approaches can facilitate students mastering the basic major techniques and improve their ability of participating engineering practical process, which can improve the engineering participation degree and increase talent training quality.

Abstract:According to the school education orientation and the training aims of talent, the necessity of characteristic education model for appliedoriented education in local university is analyzed, and the essentials of characteristic education are brought up. In combination with the practice of characteristic education for the applied chemistry discipline, a feasible training model is put forward.

Abstract:Professional education accreditation is for the checking of strength of running university and teaching quality, as well as for the selfexamining and selfimprovement. More importantly, it plays the role of “promote teaching quality by education accreditation”. Through review and analysis for the accreditation process and effectiveness of urban planning education in Anhui University of Architecture, we find that the accreditation help to make sure development orientation upgrade content and expand influence. Local universities should exert its advantages and grasp the opportunity of accreditation to condense university characteristics, show professional level comprehensively and objectively and enhance the content of professional building.

Abstract:This article constructs the appraisal system to job satisfaction on college teachers from five aspects: the working conditions, the organization’s approval, on worked the itself degree of satisfaction, the work community, the work repayment, and using the AHP to extract each influence factor’s target weight, then establishes the EAP project multistage fuzzy quality synthetic evaluation model, finally explains this method use through the example.

Abstract:I summarized that the civil engineer materials course has the characteristics of complex content, various concept, and poor logic. Based on them, I proposed some classroom teaching methods to stimulate students’ enthusiasm and interest, extend their vision, improve the teaching quality, and explore the teaching reform of civil engineer materials course.

Abstract:Based on the characteristics of the pipe network for fluid distribution course, we concluded the experience and understanding in the teaching practice. We realized that we should start the teaching course from the easy to the difficult, give top priority to the most important content, well master the common and individual dialectic unification, combine theory and practice together, culture the students’ professional philosophy, and lay necessary foundation for the study of the followup professional courses. We also thought that we should apply the computer and network technologies in teaching practice, and adopt more than one assessment methods to promote students’ comprehensive capability.

Abstract:Hydraulic reinforced concrete structures is an important basic course for water conservancy and hydropower major which needs a strong practice. We discussed innovations on teaching methods and contents from the course program, the theoretical knowledge, and the practice arrangement. We thought that the theoretical knowledge and the normative content are both important. To adapt the requirement of practical ability for graduates in the new social situation, we should improve teaching efficiency by summerizing and contrasting, and enhance the practice teaching.

Abstract:The graduation project is the last important practical teaching part of science and engineering departments in colleges and universities. We analyzed existing problems which affect the graduation project teaching quality in Architecture major, and proposed process control strategies from the early stage preparation and the following implementation to the post summingup which improve and guarantee the graduation project quality of Applied Architecture majors.

Abstract:We pointed out the importance to reform the practical teaching for civil engineering majors. Based on the training objective of civil engineering in college and the practical situation in Changsha University of Science and Technology, considered the engineering geology key course construction, and combined the practical teaching reform program, we showed existing problems in the practical teaching, which including the limitation of teaching plan, funds shortage of practice teaching, weak practical ability of students, less practice base for teaching, high proportion of teachers to students, old apparatus or shortage of equipments and so on. To cultivate highquality talents mastered practical and innovative ability, we proposed reform measures including rebuilding the practice teaching system, promoting the practice teaching by scientific research, establishing united practice base, strengthening teachers training, setting up the network teaching system, and improving the assessment measures.

Abstract:For the 21st century education and teaching reform and the need for new personnel training,this paper analyzes deeply the existing problems on practical teaching modes of civil engineering specialty in university, and puts forward specific measures to solve the existing problems from the emphasis on practical innovations, the development of teaching programs, the construction of hierarchical teaching systems and teaching staff , the optimization of basic practicalcomprehensive teaching links, the assessment systems to other aspects. Through building diversified teaching patterns and practice, remarkable effects are achieved.

Abstract:We expatiated the significance and objective of the extracurricular research study on concrete structures, and established it’s subject and implemention steps. We analyzed the results of carrying out the extracurricular research study in concrete structures course of civil engineering, port channel and coastal engineering majors. We also provided some suggestions to encourage students participating in this activity.

Abstract:Structural mechanics is an important course. We summarized the curriculum contents using the comparative analysis, including the importance and skill of geometry composition analysis, inner force solution of special structure system (eg. threepinned arcuate structure, two rigid body systems, unit construction and so on), two solution methods (namely the force method and the displacement method) of indeterminate structure, formula summary of structure displacement calculation and so on, which can help students to analogize and well apply their knowledge in solving practical project problems.

Abstract:The steel structure course is one of the main specialized courses of civil engineering major. Based on the curricular characteristics and teaching experience in this course, I proposed some teaching methods to inspire students’ learning initiative and sense of innovation.

Abstract:Based on the characteristics of the pipeline network for fluid distribution course, we presented the significance of experimental teaching. We developed a comprehensive experiment platform for the course, and introduced its function. Then we carried out preliminary practice on the experiment teaching and received good results.

Abstract:Based on the basic characteristics of the material mechanics course, the actual situation during the teaching process, and the relationship between education and scientific research, we applied the achievements of scientific research in teaching to help students to understand the elementary knowledge, foster their creativity, develope their basic research capacity, and expand their thinking extension and depth. We took a part of composites materials content as a case study, introduced numerical test method in it, built a numerical model, and combined the numerical test results with the classroom teaching to improve the teaching efficiency.

Abstract:We discussed the importance of practical teaching for training highquality and application oriented talents in engineering colleges, and established a new system of practical teaching for the materials science and engineering major. We have achieved some efforts by conducting and exploring the system for almost three years.

I presented a new teaching model in Zhejiang College of Construction, analyzed the study environment and teaching content according to practical projects, and proposed some suggestions to explore courses combined with engineering practice and theory study which can improve students’ practice ability.

Abstract:The paper analyzes the space form and teaching organization of the WORKSHOP mode. “3D construction” is a core of the teaching mode. In the Workshop,“3D construction” means to realize the true emersion of architectural space by multilayer expression of space which includes twodimensional, threedimensional, virtual reality (VR) etc. The Workshop should include the public space of a bigger scale and more spacious outdoor place, and install creation, material, structure, multimedia etc. indoor space and large digital video system, which provides a space form and supported platform for architectural education that “true view” and “mirage” integrated. The paper still analyzes the organization characteristics of the architectural professional teaching based on the Workshop teaching mode.

Abstract:We used Ecotect to do the architectural design, which provided an quantitative analysis and help us to understand the result of the energy consumption during the design process. Ecotect can provide a scientific basis for building energy saving design. We also disscussed its meaning in the design of energysaving construction.

Abstract:The development of the online education for the course, pipe network, is presented in this paper. Investigations were conducted to reveal the action of topic discussion applied in online education. In practicing this work, it is found that the topic discussion would inspire the study interest for the students, thus improve the teaching quality for the university.

Abstract:This article aims at the present situation of the increasingly serious humanistic spirit loss and absence of college students majoring in science and engineering. It analyzes the reasons why Chinese college students majoring in science and engineering generally lack humanistic quality, and puts forward concrete measures for strengthening the education of humanistic quality according to the present situation.
