Abstract:This paper describes the international exchange of domestic architectural education, sums up several models of current international exchange of domestic architectural education and their characteristics. In view of current situation of international exchanges of architectural education in Shenzhen University, the author points out some issues that should be paid attention to during the international exchange of domestic architectural education.
Abstract:In the popularization of high education process, only by paying attention to the size and quality of colleges’ coordinated development, and setting up the developmental, multiple, and adapted to the needs of social development in the quality of high education’s view, can the sustainable and healthy development of high education be possible to achieve. The author analyzes the issues of local colleges’ evaluation of specialized teaching in urban planning specialty and reflects how to train highquality applied talents for local socioeconomic construction, renew the concepts, innovate the mechanisms based upon locality.Based on the “323” management model as the main body, through the exploration of practice, the open evaluation of specialized teaching, monitoring and security system is built and improved.
Abstract:Credit system reform is the essential trend of modern higher education development, and it is implemented in many colleges. The paper discusses the brief course, analyzes the significance of credit system reform in local characteristic colleges. It also discusses the obstacle factor and the outlet of credit system reform in local characteristic colleges. It suggests that the local characteristic colleges should build in intension constructing, exert on the predominance of credit system, and find the way on credit system reform adjusting to its character.

Abstract:Municipal engineering technological majors is a major with obvious application, but there are several problems in the talent training plan such as the teaching system that does not meet the need of higher vocational education, unreasonable curriculum, weakening cooperation education and inaccurate location of market, which affect the realization of the goal of municipal engineering technological talent training directly. Abstract:With the development of the specialty of building environment and equipment engineering, the old talents training program can’t satisfy the need for the talents training in the new situation. Therefore, the talents training program is reformed. This paper introduces the construction of the applied talents training system. Abstract:The practical experimental teaching is important to train civil engineering talents who should have project practice ability and innovation ability. Firstly, the paper analyzes the problems of civil engineering specialty experimental teaching: experiment teaching is attaching to theory teaching, experiment contents are outmoded and repeated, experimental teaching ways lack of novelty, examination scores are single and experiment content is unified. Then,this paper puts forward reforming measures of experimental teaching system: integrating the experiment item of existing theoretical course, establishing independent experimental course to experimental item which is independent from theoretical course, carrying out credit teaching in which examination score mainly depends on quantity and quality of experimental item to motivate students enthusiasm, transforming undergraduates’ scientific and technical innovation and teachers’ scientific project into experiment items, training students’ project practice ability and innovation ability.
Abstract:The article briefs the career training of certain nuke enterprise. In order to achieve mutual objectives, the enterprise carries out series of training progresses. This article analyzes the characteristic and merit of training of this enterprise, from which some experience and modus operandi are able to be gotten. Abstract:Through investigation and analysis, the paper points out that the graduate students of civil engineering obtain their employment mainly in the construction enterprise, so it’s clear that working at the technology post and management post of the construction enterprise should be civil engineering students. According to this, the paper analyzes that there is series course weakness in the current civil engineering talent cultivation plan such as paying too much attention to cultivating design and research ability, less attention to the construction course, etc. The paper constructs a new“4+4” teaching module which consists of theory teaching (basis, structure, construction, expand) and practice teaching (experiments, design, practice, treatise) pertinently. Abstract:Through the teaching reform of architecture undergraduate course of design, we use the teaching method of “special topic in the curriculum project” and “the open style proposition”,which realize transforms of the multidimensional training, transforms from unidirectional counseling to the multidirection exchange, transforms from the passive learning to the active learning. The reform was well received by students, and achieved better teaching effectiveness.
Abstract:We compared contents, content organization, and content expression style of three kinds of textbook for urban design named illustration urban design, urban design, and urban design introduction. Based on the comparative study, we suggested that teachers can independently redevelop textbooks, such as strengthening example and practice teaching, paying attention to picture and text equally, and emphasizing diverse illustration forms in teaching urban design.
Abstract:To make students obtain better profession talent and cultivate their engineering innovation and practice abilities, the practical status and the existing problems in the course teaching of Bridge Engineering are analyzed in details aiming at the actual condition of the course of Bridge Engineering. On this basis, the corresponding teaching renovation measures of several aspects are presented, such as teaching content, teaching method, practice teaching, course examination and graduation design combining teaching practice. Taking the course of subgrade engineering as a study case in this article, the useful education contents and methods have been innovated. Accordingly, the measures for the innovations are put forward in the end. As a result, the prospective targets are achieved by using such methods.
Abstract:The characteristics of the course of subgrade and pavement engineering are introduced. Based on the characteristics of the course, the adopting of discussion teaching method in the course is systematically analyzed from four aspects, such as the design of the topic, the forms of discussion, the personal composition and the time of discussion. The result of teaching practice shows that the discussion teaching method can improve the students’ studying interest, foster the students’ abilities. A good teaching effect is achieved by using this method in the course of subgrade and pavement engineering.

Abstract:Experimental teaching is a very important part in teaching soil mechanics. But in current experimental teaching of soil mechanics, the software and hardware in the laboratories of soil mechanics, the teaching contents and models of the experimental teaching can’t completely meet the need to training innovative talents. Based on an investigation research, some weaknesses or problems in experimental teaching of soil mechanics are found, and some associated reforming methods are suggested. During past near two years, the teaching effectiveness of the geotechnical experimental has largely been improved by researching and running the suggested reforming methods. The suggested reforming methods are reasonable and effective.

Abstract:A numerical test system named Realistic Failure Process Analysis (RFPA) was introduce into materials mechanics course teaching, and the numerical test results were applied into the classroom teaching to help students’ understanding the elementary knowledge. On this basis, many mechanics phenomena and data information can be obtained through the numerical test, but it can not be obtained by the experiments. Thereby, students can have directviewing and indepth recognization on deformation and failure process of the structure specimen. A case about beam strength is analyzed in the paper. It helps students to integrate theory with practice, stimulate interests of study and research of students, train research quality, therefore to improve the whole teaching effect of materials mechanics.
Abstract:The paper introduces the trend of college EGP course reform, analyzes the teaching situation of EGP teachers to instruct ESP branch courses, and tries to tell whether EGP teachers are competent to deliver ESP courses. Paper holds the opinion that what ESP teachers confront is the English language application in the professional area instead of the professional knowledge itself. The paper suggests that a certain kind of knowledge of EGP Teachers have to acquire if they are to be competent to deliver the ESP courses: professional language knowledge, professional logic language and fundamental ESP professional knowledge. The paper finally advises EGP teachers to be familiar with a few aspects of fundamental professional knowledge in construction engineering.
Abstract:There are many problems in graduation design of undergraduate students majored in civil engineering because of employment pressure from outer environment and instruction quality in inner environment. In order to solve this problem, scientific management must be taken to improve quality of graduation design. These issues can be solved through deeply analyzing specific reasons which cause the problems and through bringing out strict regulations in process of graduation design management. Abstract:Based on the investigation about the multimedia courses and teaching effects from 2000 to 2008 of civil engineering specialty in one school, it is pointed that the multimedia teaching method has become the most popular teaching method at the present college teaching practice. But at the same time, teaching effects did not seem to be improved much, and not only some old problems in traditional teaching progress still existed, but also new problems emerged. According to this phenomenon, some studentoriented measures are put forward to enhance the teaching quality of civil engineering multimedia courses.
