Abstract:The criteria for assessment and accreditation and education programs of construction management courses in U.S.A and Australia are analyzed.And those are compared with the education program of engineering management course in China with respect to curricula, development of communication skills, education of ethics and professionalism, etc.Some suggestions are given for the improvement of China’s program.Although the course investigated is engineering management, the conclusions are beneficial references for the educational development and assessment of those professions which are practice oriented, related to people’s healthiness and safety of life and property, along with management professions.

Abstract:Ten measures for improving the engineering ability of undergraduates in the specialty of building materials engineering as well as their practical results are summarized.These measures involve in the specialty program, course system, case study, experimental teaching, internship, course project, graduation dissertation, research training program etc.All these ten measures can be as reference to the related universities which have similar specialty as building material engineering.

Abstract:Aiming at problems of ‘aesthetics inactivation’ reflected in the structural design competition, the author analyzes the interrelated factors which influence the knowledge system construction and result in the capability deficiency of building molding design of civil engineering specialty students.Starting from the construction in specialty model, course system, knowledge system, fieldwork, the researcher proposes the thoughts and methods of enhancing integration diathesis of student.

Abstract:Engineering college is the cradle of engineer, and the engineering consciousness is a very important quality of engineer.This paper analyzes the connection between engineering consciousness and engineering college’s education from introducing engineering consciousness and it’s connotation, then puts out a method to cultivate students’ engineering consciousness in engineering college’s education.

Abstract:From the view of construction aim of civil engineering characteristic specialty, this paper compares the domestic teaching modes with foreign ones for applicationoriented talents and presents such composite training approaches as international cooperation, dual training system between university and company, biidentification, modularization education as well as engineering quality training, which are important for enabling academy construction, improving innovating ability, developing competitive spheres and building profession awareness.Based on training experience, some problems on optimization of composite talents training ways are also herein put forward.

Abstract:In this paper, through investigating the employment of graduates of the urban planning, the authors analyze the main employment destination of urban planning students, including planning and design and planning management department, discuss eight major urban planning applicationoriented directions for personnel training, and put forward the corresponding knowledge structure, capacity requirements and personnel training methods.The results can be applied to the development of the applicationoriented personnel training program and graduate training specification location of urban planning higher education.
