Abstract:Based on characteristics of the architecture specialty, the teaching method based on constructivism was set up to improve students’ interests, enhancing the teaching effect by combining the knowledge of structure and the design course as well as professional practice concerned.
Abstract:With the change of thinking model, design methods and expression tools in the field of contemporary architectural design, it will inevitably bring about adjustment of teaching methods and teaching points. The basic skill training of architecture, which is as the architectural foundation of learning, also has changed. Based on our teaching experience, we interpreted the concept of basic skills of architecture from three aspects, which are making students’ to master the technique of architecture design, to master the theory and knowledge of architecture, and to build the design consciousness of architecture. Our purpose is to get a comprehensive understanding about it to think rationally on architecture teaching.

Abstract:Being a special major, architecture education pays much attention to cultivate students’ creative quality. With long history and good teaching tradition, college of architecture and urban planning of Chongqing University has always focusing on students’ creative ability training and has built a sound architecture creative education system. Architecture history creative education system is a key part of architecture creative education system. Study on experience methodology in foreign architecture history education is a subproject of architecture history creative education system. We researched on the theory of experience methodology, its application project and evaluation system construction. Our practice of experience methodology achieved good effects.
Abstract:We summarized the situation of urban planning specialty construction in P. R. China. For university with weak urban planning specialty, we analyzed the cause deeply that there are three major problems. Based on education experiences in universities at home and abroad, we presented three strategies for development of the weak urban planning specialty in some universities.

Abstract:Functional materials specialty was set up in Shenyang Jianzhu University to meet the national strategic requirements of new industry development. Functional materials specialty is a strategic new industryrelated specialty to train talents adapted to the strategic materials industry and help to promote industrial restructuring and upgrading. It contributes to the progressive national and local economic construction and a talent training system with distinctive features. The establishment of functional materials specialty is an inevitable result because of the education maturity, school restructuring and sustainable development of disciplines.
Abstract:To improve education quality of applicationoriented talents for city planning (AOTCP), the meaning of “4+1” education mode of training AOTCP was defined based on cultivating talents and teaching investigation and the arrangement of “4+1” education mode was introduced. Several primary processes of the mode were put forward. The following five aspects, regarding social demand as a goal of cultivating talents, laying a strong emphasis on basic theories and knowledge of correlating, strengthening practice teaching process, intensifying making education and innovation education, and cultivating talents through colleges united with enterprises, should be considered. The research results are a kind of reference for AOTCP cultivation.
Abstract:Based on the demand of civil engineering qualification and training plan of excellent engineer, basic conditions in the practice teaching of civil engineering in local universities were analyzed. The author introduced the experience in reforming the practice teaching in Xuzhou Institute of Technology, and discussed a new mode of practice teaching by taking laboratory as a support, taking local economic development as a goal and taking cooperation of institute and enterprise as a platform. The practice teaching system of four modules was established which focused on training students’ skills and competence and enhancing their ability of engineering practice to adapt to the competitive society.

Abstract:The most important task of highquality research universities is to cultivate innovative talents with high quality for the country. As a cultivating model, the key of graduate education is to nurture and enhance graduate students’ innovative capacity and core competition ability. It is a major topic needed to be researched and solved in research universities. Depending on the shortcomings of graduate education in terms of innovative ability, key factors that may affect the innovative ability cultivating of graduate students, including the tutor team construction, curriculum setting and practice, were analyzed and discussed in the paper.
Abstract:Higher vocational technology education is the important component of higher education. Setting a talent training plan of computer animation specialty is the key of cultivating animation production talents. Goals, objectives and specifications, work tasks and vocational ability, curriculum system, and teaching arrangement were analyzed in this work to design the framework of talent training plan, which is to cultivate vocational computer animation professionals adapting to current economic conditions in P.R. China.
Abstract:We firstly illustrated the CDIO concept and analyzed requirements for the training mode. Then we elaborated the talent training mode of construction project management specialty based on the CDIO concept, especially explained the curriculum system in detail. Our purpose is to provide a reference for the research and practice in related fields.

Abstract:In accordance with social needs and characteristics of architecture, the concept of engineering education was put forward combined with our specific situation. It took the need as a motivation, the market as an orientation, and the service as a purpose, sought development with characteristics, characteristics with innovation, and survival by quality, and strengthened the concept of engineering education. Abstract:Urban planning is an interdisciplinary subject which is comprehensive, practical and political. Firstly, we analyzed the connotation and characteristics of architecture and geography. Then we analyzed the development trend of talent training of urban planning in Western developed countries, and put forward curriculum establishment for urban planning specialty based on the mode of integration of architecture and geography. The integration of architecture and geography can improve teaching quality of urban planning, and train urban planning professional talents adapted to social requirements in the 21st century.
Abstract:Engineering project management (EPM) is a practical course. The philosophy of teaching content arrangement and course examination is to strengthen and scan the effect of mastering EPM knowledge and the ability of practice. Based on the teaching guideline and characteristics of EPM course, the reform of teaching content are discussed in this paper. For students, it shows that the ability of solving engineering issue in reality is developed and the positive effect of course teaching is achieved.
Abstract:Architecture is a combination of arts and technologies. Students in fine arts institutes are strong in art, but their abilities of symbolic logic are very short. After carrying out some teaching innovations, we strived to train artistic and applicationoriented talents. We added some theories and contents of national certified architect examinations in the course teaching and combined theories with practices in the teaching content. We took binding teaching methods with architecture design courses to improve students’ capability of understanding contents of interinfiltration courses.

Abstract:To train students’ practice ability, engineering concept and creative consciousness, the course of principle of concrete structure design was comprehensively constructed based on the training goal and teaching practice of civil engineering specialty in an applicationoriented university. We carried out reform on the teaching content, the textbook, the courseware, examination methods, the practice teaching, and internet teaching. These methods achieved good teaching effect.

Abstract:According to the teaching objective of international construction contracting course, we proposed the need of a bilingual instruction. Based on the teaching practice, we selected foreign teachers and professional teachers together to teach the course, used bilingual texts, adopted case teaching, and established interactive teaching in the classrooms to construct the bilingual teaching mode.
Abstract:The excellent course construction in China, which has persisted for 8 years, is the earliest quality engineering project of Ministry of Education. The project has promoted the teaching reform in universities and colleges and has a very good reputation. However, there are still some problems existed in the application and construction of excellent courses. The paper analyzes achievements and effects in the course construction, points out the main problems during the course construction from three aspects to find solutions, and finally gives a prospect for the trend of the excellent course.

Abstract:The paper analyzes situations and features of curriculum design of radio and television specialties in China. Three types of radio and television specialties are proposed. The relation between career practices and curriculum design is given; then new demands of curriculum design of radio and television specialties is pointed out. Abstract:Engineering geology survey (EGS) is a very important professional course for geology engineering major (GEM). The teaching mode may affect teaching effects because EGS contains large and widerange contents. We investigated the teaching model based on the teaching practices and the teaching reform research of EGS in GEM of Chongqing Jiaotong University. Under the guide of the modern educational conception, to inform the teaching effects, problems of how to modify teaching contents in time and how to reform the teaching and examining modes were investigated.

Abstract:Based on characteristics of the seismic design of buildings course, we discussed the teaching method, teaching contents and test methods of the course. In the teaching reform process, we should integrate the theory teaching with the practical teaching, combine teaching and research together, strengthen teachers’ quality, focus on developmental teaching methods, and build a longlasting examination system.
Abstract:Based on previous studies on teaching reform of water pump and water pump station design course, the importance of teaching reform on the course was emphasized. Five new viewpoints were presented as follows: the place of design can be chosen by the designer’s willing, professional study content is added to the design for enlarging the student’s eyeshot, classroom teaching should be combined with the course design guidance, student’s selfevaluating should be added, and examination means should be reformed for triggering the student’s innovation ability.

Abstract:We introduced the construction and development on bilingual education for engineering mechanics teaching team of Dalian University of Technology. Bilingual teaching methods and practice were explored in the course of Mechanics of Materials in civil engineering education. The positive action of the teaching mode for developing undergraduate students’ all around abilities was discussed in this paper. The result shows that the teaching mode not only trained and promoted students’ creativity, but also guaranteed the teaching quality.
Abstract:According to the question that how to integrate four subject platforms’ system of construction management specialty, based on the schoolbased research, current problems and reasons were deeply analyzed from the angle of knowledge integration. And integrated teaching mode of construction management specialty was put forward and its basic principle, realization way and the ultimate goal were expound. Finally, concrete ideas and implementing measures of practice for the integrated teaching mode were discussed further.

Abstract:Based on the established quality assurance and innovation system of undergraduate graduation project, the followup work and achievement in the graduation project done by the Department of Building Engineering of Tongji University were introduced in this paper. The problems in the graduation project were analyzed. The questionnaire results of 26 large and famous design institutes and construction enterprises were introduced. New measures for deepening the graduation project teaching quality and innovation were listed including the following subjects, such as perfecting the design curriculum system, adding design subject, carrying out architectural, structure and construction, departmententerprises joint project of graduation project, and departmentforeign universities joint project of graduation design. Series lectures on graduation design to assistant students to complete the graduation project were held. Public defense system of all students and training system for young teachers to promote engineering experiences were executed. The following promoting work on graduation project is also put forward.

Abstract:We analyzed the current employment situation and proposed an evaluation method for teaching mode of marketoriented industrial design specialty to promote the discipline construction and innovation of teaching practice of industrial design specialty in universities and colleges. We pointed out a number of evaluation criteria as assessment indicators of talent cultivation. It is a new evaluation method to the job marketoriented industrial design education, which will promote the development of domestic industrial design.

Abstract:According to the request of new catalog on architecture environment and equipment engineering specialty, teaching contents, teaching methods and effect of practice teaching for heat resource equipment and heating course are analyzed in the paper. The new course has a good structure and religious logic through adjusting, incorporating and recombining the boiler and equipments curriculum and airconditioning curriculum. The teaching practice indicates that the new curriculum can make students study actively and obtain satisfied teaching effect.
Abstract:The production and management practice of project management specialty is a very important practical curriculum. Abstract:New developments in pronunciation pedagogy resulting from a general tendency in foreign language teaching have embraced communicative and holistic approaches. Moreover, current trends have been influenced by fruitful products from other disciplines such as psychology, neurolinguistics, drama and technology. This paper presents an overview of innovative approaches to the teaching of practical phonetics and points to their common characteristics in the expectation to offer some new solutions for those intrinsic difficulties in traditional classroom teaching of English pronunciation, such as recurrence of mistakes by repeated practice and negative transfer of the Chinese language as the mother tongue of students.

Abstract:Computer aided design (CAD) is an important technical course for urban planning education (UPE) in universities and colleges. Its main target is to help students majored in urban planning gain professional skills of computer drawing and designing. Based on the function and characteristics of UPE’s CAD course, the paper presents the teaching target and demands of CAD course and proposes a CAD education framework for UPE, which is constructed by teaching module, teaching content, teaching methods and practice module.

Abstract:To improve the development of the college education of urban rail transit major and make students meet social needs, this paper analyzes the knowledge structure, ability, qualities and employment issues of students of urban rail transit major based on the survey of employers’ requirements. The results indicate that the employers focus on students’ knowledge structure, the depth of professional knowledge, and innovation ability. The results provide a reference for the training of urban rail transit major.
Abstract:We investigated the employment need of 1 139 undergraduates in Chongqing and found out that the employment need is the strongest one of social needs. Based on the analysis, we suggested that the reform of talent training mode in universities and colleges should be carried out to meet the social requirements.

Abstract:When the examination of physical education is near, students are always in a frightened mood. The fear syndrome before examination destroys their biological o’clock, leading to disastrous effects with examination failure. The result shows that adjusting students’ biological o’clock and psychology before examination, designing an exercise plan, and cultivating their selfexercise abilities can correct the syndrome and improve examination results.
Abstract:In recent years, the BOT financing mode becomes a popular international infrastructure financing model. It makes a full use of the foreign capital and private capital, and also makes a contribution to solve problems of financial shortage in the construction of infrastructure. It will also help the universities to go through the capital shortage when using the BOT financing mode into the construction of infrastructure. However, there are also imperfections in the qualitative and quantitative analyses of risk assessment by using this model. The author made a deep research on the application of the BOT financing model in the infrastructure construction of universities, and analyzed its risk by using a new kind of the AHP, which avoiding the disadvantage of the traditional AHP in some extent.
