    Abstract:
    Under the circumstance of economic globalization and higher education internationalization, the abroad consumption of higher education occupies the most market shares in international education service trade. Particularly, overseas student education is a main form in the abroad consumption of higher education. Under the background mentioned above, overseas student education has been rapidly progressing in Zhejiang Province. At the same time, overseas student education of Zhejiang Province will be faced with new difficulties and development opportunities which come from the external environment and internal factors in the future. Based on a case study of overseas student education of Zhejiang Province, we analyzed countermeasures to overcome difficulties and seize opportunities. We aimed to find out strategies with the help of all development opportunities and favorable conditions to make great progress and further the development of overseas student education.

    Abstract:
    To realize the combination of theoretical and practical education, China established some policies to support practical teaching, ensuring teaching effect and teaching quality of higher education. Practice base construction outside universities and colleges is meaningful to the practical teaching. We analyzed problems in constructing practice base and suggested that education authorities should take some measures to support the practical teaching based on the situation of enterprises and colleges respectively. These measures can realize the combination of theoretical and practical education and accelerate the improvement of higher education quality.

    Abstract:
    Based on the environment and internal factors affecting the development of department of civil engineering in Dongguan University of Technology, we analyzed the influence of region and administrative relation on characteristics to run a school and proposed the influence of talent training, specialty/subject construction, course system, teacher quality, scientific research, experimental base construction, and system administration on the sustainable development of specialty. The practice shows that only prompting each work in department of civil engineering based on development strategies and reality can realize the sustainable development of college guiding principles and the department of civil engineering.

    According to the previous studies of professional education and teaching practice for freshmen, based on numerous detailed questionnaire investigation data, the social understanding, cognition, and shortages of the original major renamed by “building environment and service engineering” as a new major were discussed. The necessity, appropriate, and prospective of the new professional secondly renamed by “building environment and energy application” were obtained. More attentions should be paid on the source of students to cope with energy and environment challenges and to train the registered service engineers.

Many teams are short of favorable growing environment and construction mode, which leads to irregularity of team size and innovation.     Abstract:
    To achieve profession qualification license for being registered engineer, some important issues of engineering management education were studied, which mainly involved the talent training goal, core curriculum system optimization, and discipline construction. Study shows that, to meet requirements of engineering management practice and qualification licensing for registered engineer, engineering management professional education needs to be transformed from mode of pure disciplines theory education to practice education model oriented engineering project. Various forms of practice teaching based on professional theories and core curriculum construction need to be developed. More importantly, training excellent engineers of engineering management field should become the talent training goal of engineering management specialty.

    Abstract:
    Highway surveying and design is an essential course of civil engineering specialty in China as well as in the U.S.A. The paper presents results of a study on the teaching methods utilized in two universities of the two countries. Differences in the teaching methods are identified through course designs and teaching practices. The weights of homework assignments, quizzes, exams, designing labs, and field activities are compared quantitatively. The results show that, with a well designed course and well organized teaching practice, the effectiveness of teaching can be greatly enhanced.

The bridge construction course in the major of civil engineering was selected as a platform of the teaching reform and a novel teaching mode was proposed which mainly aimed at training students’ practice ability and innovation ability.     To adapt to requirements of the development of architectural teaching, we adjusted the training plan of architecture in our school based on the advanced experience in other colleges and universities. Teaching methods and content of architecture design basis were also reformed. The relationship of the basic course, specialized basic courses, and professional courses was straightened out. In the architecture design basis teaching, we changed the traditional teaching methods of training architectural forms of expression and drawing to practical ability training focusing on architectural design, construction and fabrication, which had achieved some good results.

    Abstract:
    We summarized the inquiry teaching experience before and presented a new teaching mode based on a three phase teaching method. The first phase was the natural teaching phase, in which teachers proposed simple group projects to training students’ study interests. The second phase was the unnatural teaching phase. In this phase, teachers increased the difficulty of group projects to enhance students’ theories. Teachers also guided students to solve problems in the projects to broaden students’ knowledge. The third phase is scientific natural phase. Students’ learning initiative and innovative ability were promoted. They can complete projects by themselves. The results show that the three phase teaching method can broaden students’ knowledge, enhance students’ learning initiative and abilities of self study, innovation, communication and teamwork, and promote students’ engineering quality.

    Graduation design plays an important role in cultivating practical ability, innovation ability, and engineer quality of engineering undergraduates. At present, there is a decreasing trend in the graduation design quality of engineering students. Based on the practical work and full investigation, the main problems in the graduation design were analyzed. New measures for deepening the graduation design teaching reform were listed including starting graduation design earlier, quality monitoring of subject choosing, strengthening ability cultivation and process management, and strict grade assessing administration. The detailed analysis shows that these innovative teaching modes were feasible, which can make students systematically and comprehensively trained, increase students’ capability of analyzing and addressing practical engineering problems, and enhance the quality of graduation design effectively.

    Abstract:
    Singing is a kind of performing arts. It has common characters with narrow performing arts and its own personality. It has connections with performing arts and is different from it. Body language is an important part of the art of singing. Singing and performing should be coordinated and integrated from mouth, hands, eyes, body, walking, and other aspects to improve the singing level of vocal music.
