Abstract:With the development of the times, the traditional idea and teaching mode in higher education face a new challenge. Therefore, implementation of teaching reform for colleges and universities all over the world is very important. In this study, contemporary teaching reform results for colleges and universities were investigated. Seeking proper teaching model for higher education institutions were regarded as starting point, which followed teaching principles and growth rules of talents. From various perspectives of evolution course of higher education, modern teaching system, idea of research-based learning and teacher culture, the present situation was probed, common problems were reflected, and fundamental reasons were dissected. This study is helpful for integrating ancient traditional education idea and modern multi-dimensional interaction pattern, and provides solutions and suggestions to seek feasible teaching reform model for colleges and universities.

Abstract:Since the building electrical and intelligent specialty have been approved by the Ministry of Education in 2005, there are morn then 30 universities have set this specialty. Abstract:The effective supply of real estate specialty restricts the sustainable development of the real estate industry to some extent, the study for teaching effects of real estate major helps to reveal the match between the supply and demand for real estate professionals. Through questionnaires for undergraduates in Wuhan, the article analysis the problems and causes during teaching. The research shows that: the students are interested in the expertise. However, teaching does not match the demand, the theoretical teaching does not meet practice requirements, and learning effect needs to be improved.

Abstract:The design of postgraduate training management system is inevitably restricted by the characteristics of university organization, the purpose of the management system, the postgraduate training process rules and the behavior of postgraduate students. To make better design of the management system we should follow the basic principles: the system should meet the characteristics of the graduate study in university, the requirements of the ethical and justice, and at the same time the system should reasonably concern and balance the demand of the postgraduate and be cognized in general. Abstract:Considering the career planning of architectural students and combined with the development trends of architectural design industry, the architecture undergraduate education should try a system of teaching mode to cultivate applied professionals meanwhile it continues traditional philosophy of education . For the existing teaching system of the design course, the paper proposes three new teaching mode which includes group cooperation mode, role interaction mode and analog bidding mode so that vocational ability of the students could be promoted.

Abstract:Based on the construction and the development of steel bridge and composite bridge in the current engineering, the current teaching state and shortage of the modern steel bridge course were analyzed. The reformed contents of relative steel bridge course were put forward. Judged by the actual teaching reform practice of the steel bridge course, the teaching effect was improved obviously by the new teaching contents and methods and both the theoretical basis and design practice can be fully guaranteed.

Abstract:According to the course characteristics of fluid mechanics and the field working experience and teaching achievement of the author, five teaching reform measures are discussed as follows: optimizing the teaching content, simplifying the lecturing means, exerting the traditional teaching advantage, excavating the potential of multimedia teaching, cultivating the student’s innovation ability. Some efficient teaching methods are put forward to help the students understand the key contents of the fluid mechanics. Abstract:At present, the piecewise rigidization method in mechanics of materials is not explained in detail, which is only applies to solve the deformation of beam. In fact, it is a kind of superposition method. As a basic method in mechanics of materials, it can be applied to solve a variety of problems, especially complex mechanics problems. Based on the analysis of principle of the piecewise rigidization method, combining with my own teaching experience, the application is discussed in depth on the statically indeterminate tension and compression bar, stepped shaft, non-uniform beam and plane rigid frame.

Abstract:Reinforced concrete structure is one of the most important technical courses for the majors of civil engineering and hydraulic engineering. This subject is closely associated with the design code for reinforced concrete structures, which will provide some basic fundamentals and skills for the students in their careers after graduating. However, due to the revision of the design code for reinforced concrete structures, the teaching contents of this subject are required to adjusted and updated. By comparing the old and new codes, this paper listed the revised contents within the newly published design code which may have significant effect on the study and project design of students. It will help the students understand the theoretical background of the design code of reinforced concrete structures and follow the tracks of development of reinforced concrete structures.

Abstract:Based on the civil engineering undergraduate program taught in English against the background of higher education internationalization, the problems and difficulties of the teaching mode, interactive teaching and classroom organization were analyzed. In order to improve the quality of full-English teaching, the intuitive teaching mode of watching, listening, practicing was put forward, which is combined with image, model and project cases, and is help to construct the perceptual knowledge. Some other solutions were discussed mainly on the need of humane care, strengthening the leading function of teachers, carrying out textbook development and improving the assessing and evaluating methods.

Abstract:By analyzing the characteristics of building construction technology course and learning from second language immersion programs in Canada for reference, this paper present the concept of constructing the immersion teaching environment in the specialty class. The necessity of construction this environment is then analyzed and detailed method to construct the direct and indirect immersion teaching method is given. The construction of “immersion” teaching environment can help the students to face the construction field at the same time of learning theoretical knowledge, which is beneficial for them to shorten their learning cognitive process and improve their learning effect.

Abstract:Engineering structure was an important main course of engineering management specialty. It is also the emphasis and difficulty of teaching reform about the course system of that speciality. This paper introduced the characteristics of engineering structure and summarized the existing problems during the teaching process of that course. Abstract:According to characteristics and career prospects of junior college students majored in engineering cost management, the characteristics of the engineering structure curriculum are analyzed. Abstract:Water pollution control is one of the most important compulsory and crucial courses for undergraduates majoring in environmental engineering. In view of the analysis of the current situation of the bilingual teaching for specialized courses in engineering field, course reform of auxiliary bilingual teaching is discussed in the paper. Under the condition of original teaching hours plan, the model of auxiliary bilingual teaching is carried out by reasonable adjustments of class organization mode, optimization of multimedia courseware, diversity of exercise after class etc. Auxiliary bilingual teaching of the course can enhance the understanding of specialized contents, increase reading & analysis ability and written skills ability for undergraduates significantly under the premise of teaching objectives. It has a certain valuable feasibility of implementation.

Abstract:By analyzing the community talent needs of the construction industry, the research of the shortcomings in the current civil engineering training scheme was carried out. On this basis, a new training program of civil engineering professional was made which is suited to the current needs of the community. New training program underlines the important role of practice teaching. By creating the implementation of school-enterprise cooperation platform for the construction and implementation of the security system, it achieves the desired results. Abstract:In order to reform the experiment course of civil engineering materials, this paper designs a comprehensive experimental curriculum (CEC), in which some projects will be carry out such as the specific surface and the density of cement, fly ash and grounded granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS); the water demand in normal consistency, the setting time and the compressive strength of motor and concrete, which with straight cement, 30 percent of fly ash and 50 percent of GGBS separately. The disqualification cement is perpetrated for students to know how bed the soundness is. Both the workload and the costing of CEC is some higher than that of replication one. CEC can be finished within the original class hour still. According to the analyzing of using examples of CEC, the learning interesting of student rises significantly and the innovation idea is explored, meanwhile the preinstall objective of experimental curriculum realizes successfully. In a word, CEC exhibits a beneficial effect.

Abstract:In order to change the current situation that the graduation design of civil engineering majors in universities usually implement separately and lack of multi-profession collaboration,we put forward the idea of multi-profession collaborative graduation design mode of civil engineering based on engineering project. Take the methods on building multi-specialty graduation design team which covered by a project, establish the design platform, create coordination evaluation appraisal system and so on, develop the engineering consciousness on the whole project. From the implementation effect, participation enthusiasm of students is very high, scope of knowledge of students get further developed ,the ability of engineering design have improved significantly.

Abstract:The establishment of the “Central Society” in 1912 marked the formation of Chinese science and technology academia. From then on the central government has set up institutions to effectively manage the academia. In the late 1920’s, the academia sinica attached to the university council of national government had been set up, which was later directly controlled by the national government. Science and technology academia gradually grew stronger. The member of academia sinica stayed in the mainland in 1949 built up the main body of Chinese Academy of Sciences. The conclusion is that as Chinese S&T academia emerged under the guiding of the government, not naturally born from the traditional Chinese culture, scientific research in general requires the help of the government and market forces, and science as a cultural element will be the starting point for building a new culture.
