Abstract:Under the background of rapid urbanization,village development face opportunities and challenges, this paper will build planning strategies of village in the green security concept principle, discuss how to solve practical problems which the village facing now,then assist village development. Development of villages should be built on secure environment, village will suffer serious loss when disasters occurred. Formulate village development strategy must take full account of the principles of safety and disaster prevention. The green safety concept must penetrate the development and construction of the village, and then solve the problems of population lost, industry development slow and poor villages environment, gradually promote the sustainable and healthy development of the village.

Abstract:The recent 20 years of infrastructure construction in China makes a great opportunity for the self-improvement of civil engineering higher education. Compared with the corresponding construction history of America, it is found that a number of universities upgraded their civil engineering education by participating in practical engineering. This paper introduces the academic innovation activity of CEE UIUC in different period of construction in America, and the history about the theoretical research and engineering education were promoted to the world leading level. Finally, the problems of Chinese civil engineering higher education are analyzed, and the tactics about how to solve them in current surge of infrastructure construction period is presented, all that can be taken as reference for higher engineering education.

Abstract:This paper provides the state of art of professional accreditation of engineering education in Mainland China and abroad, points out the problems and challenges in professional accreditation, and analyzes the difference between domestic professional assessment and international professional accreditation. According to competency standard system of quantity surveying in Asian-pacific region and basic standard for graduates based on Washington Agreement, the paper proposes the conception on project management specialty construction based on professional accreditation of engineering education:with the education conception of the uniform between higher education and professional accreditation, the curriculum system which responses to competency standard should be established and the talent training mode which satisfies to the registered engineer practice ability is also constructed. Our conception may offer some reference for achieving international recognition for professional accreditation.

Abstract:According to the need of practice teaching reform,the ideas and methods of project driven training mode for road engineering design talent are explored in this paper. The project driven training system is designed with four steps, four stages in accordance with the training courses arrangement plan of road engineering, and the design institute demand to the graduates' practice ability. Then, the key points of some main steps are discussed, such as the professional courses teaching, modularization project training and system upgrade of design ability. Practice has proved that with the project driven training mode the students get the systematic professional of design engineering in school, and the students' adaptation period can be shorten after their graduation.

Abstract:According to the professional ability requirement of planner for new urbanization in China, the concept of characteristic applied undergraduate of urban and rural planning specialty (CAUURPS) and their fundamental professional quality is thought, and influence factors of fundamental professional quality of CAUURPS are analyzed. The primary influence factors are pointed out, which includes basic quality, professional core theoretical knowledge, professional relevant theoretical knowledge, innovation ability and practical ability, language ability and writing ability, advantage and characteristic. Based on AHP, considering quality, knowledge and ability, the index system of fundamental professional quality evaluation of CAUURPS are constructed, and the research results can provide the references for the talent training.

Abstract:How to design undergraduate talents training plan is an important problem in the applied technology university in China. There are some fundamental basis in this process, those are laws and policy provisions of the state, the university own running orientation, and the law of growth and development of technical talents and its educational law. Abstract:In order to meet the demand for innovative talents in establishing innovation-oriented country, we gave full advantage of comprehensive university by the effective cross between liberal arts and engineering, the equal attention on general and professional education, the practice on major and minor or double-degree system and international education, expecting the success cultivation of compound innovative talents of civil engineering. To achieve this goal, we proposed the concept of civil engineering innovative talents cultivation which contains 28 elements in four dimensions covering the knowledge structure, practical skills, ability structure and comprehensive quality. In addition, we established the talents training system that emphasized on curriculum, practice teaching, college student career planning education and teaching quality assurance with the support by the university and enterprise collaborative innovation platform. Moreover, we established the perfect operating rules for this training system. After the practice for 8 years, we achieved remarkable success. Our students had broad knowledge, high comprehensive quality, excellent innovative and practical ability as well as high-quality employment.

Abstract:Chinese full-time professional degree graduate training mode is still in the exploration and construction stage and many problems exist in this phase. The tutors with low initiative and the unitary mode of tutor team are the most prominent problems among all the problems, which restrict the development of the training mode of full-time professional degree graduate and the healthy development of society. In this paper the reasons are analyzed based on the perspective of the main existing problems at present, and some targeted modes of tutors were advised to put forward in order to have positive benefits on reform and promotion of the graduate education and the society:professors in college and enterprise experts outside the college, professors with high theoretical level in college and teachers with more horizontal projects in college or characteristic discipline construction and training practice base to improve the quality evaluation system.

Abstract:Aiming at the tendency of emphasis on thesis research, ignoring courses for the current PhD in civil engineering of our university, we proposed that taking requirements of future job as traction, enhance of innovation capability as leading, and talent training as the goal, reform the traditional hierarchical course system by modular design, and form four modules structure including basis curriculum modules, specialty curriculum modules, expanding curriculum modules, research curriculum modules. And we increase innovation of teaching content which highlight three properties of cutting-edge, dynamic and practical, and explore the modular curriculum teaching implementation mode of hard stipulates living module, as well as construction of two modular curriculum evaluation system including classroom teaching quality and PhD students academic evaluation, so as to build a scientific and rational PhD modular curriculum system in civil engineering.

Abstract:The characteristic of supervisor responsibility system for post-graduate students is to emphasize the role and importance of supervisors during the educating procedure. However, in such a system the supervisors usually pay more attention on the research work than the ideology of students. Even in some cases, the supervisors may ignore the ideological and political education. This paper takes the supervisors and post-graduate students in Dalian University of Technology as the sample and motivates the full initiative and creativity of all supervisors to devote their enthusiasm and energy to the ideological and political education for post-graduate students. In our work, the joint responsibility of supervisor and group management of the institute is practiced on the basis of the class and institute system of the students and supervisors respectively. In terms of a series of experience and investigation, the mechanism of the ideological and political education for post-graduate students is developed, which is proved to be efficient and effective for the study and academic research activity.

Abstract:Based on the analysis and discussion of the importance of the structural mechanics course, and the pressure and challenge in its teaching in recent years, the importance of the engineering intuition in teaching of structural mechanics was discussed in detail. Abstract:How to assess the students'professional knowledge and their application comprehensively is the focus of teaching reform in higher education. Procedural examination that penetrates the teaching process can provide a new method to solve the problem. Abstract:The common problems in the bachelor degree graduation design teaching in civil engineering are away from the reality, lack of teaching resources, the influence of employment problem and the ignorance of the innovation ability analyzed in this paper. Abstract:It is crucial to strengthen the adolescent science and technology education for reserve talents training. Colleges and universities should make a breakthrough in the traditional idea of talent training, proactively exploiting the science education at universities, cooperating with middle and high schools, and developing multilevel science education and practices activities for adolescents. By deepening the understanding, improving the system and building the mechanism, colleges and universities can develop the adolescent science and technology education with the cooperation from middle and high schools, focusing on organizing an expert panel for science education, building a science education base, and creating technology practice activities, in order to help adolescents acquire a rigorous attitude towards science, a scientific spirit of creativity, and a realistic and pragmatic scientific quality.
