    Abstract:
    The forming of human's value consciousness is coming with the enlightenment, construction and development of cultural world. This paper focused on the cultural communication function of network art education, and explored the dialectical relationship between spreading and carrying forward the Chinese native culture and absorbing the world's advanced culture according to the perspective of cultural value. Moreover,the principles and methods of network art education were investigated based on value existence, with emphasizing the significant influence of integrated healthy network environment on network art education.

    Abstract:
    The background is that the"new normal" urbanization development in our country is calling for special talents of the urban and rural planning and this subject have become to first-level discipline now. With the background, this study analyses the situation and opportunity urban and rural planning undergraduate education is facing at present and discuss the changes and reform of this discipline with an example of bachelor study program of urban and rural planning in Tianjin University. The study includes the analysis of old bachelor study program, the introduction of new bachelor study program in reform idea, education view and training objective, and highlights the new study program attempting and exploration on program arrangement, course organization and teaching methodology.

    With the urbanization process accelerating and development of urban and rural planning subject, local universities which launching urban and rural planning professional were more and more. New situations confronting school running of urban and rural planning professional in local universities were analyzed.     Abstract:
    After more than 10 years development,the structural design competition increasingly tends to stimulate the major engineering problems today,which highlights the outstanding advantages of the competition in training engineering consciousness for civil engineering students. According to the connotation of engineering consciousness and the features of the competitions, the inspection index systemspirit how to train the comprehensive engineering consciousness for students is set up. This systemspirit contains the practical application ability,the structural innovation idea,the teamwork spirit, the work confidence and comprehensive engineering consciousness training effect inspection index system. Relying on the data of two school competitions, the statistics are analyzed by comparing the data before and after the competition. The reform ways are put forward based on the experience of organizing and participating in the competitions.

    Abstract:
    China accession to Washington Accord of the higher engineering education indicated the cultivation of higher education talent in civil engineering has gone into an internationalization substantive stage. As the practice of education reform of civil engineering multi-major graduation project in Chongqing University, it is not only to inspect the four-year core professional knowledge, ability and quality of civil engineering undergraduates, but also the ability of undergraduates facing to economic globalization, competition and teamwork. To enhance the quality of personnel training of multi-major Graduation Project, inspect the training objectives and teaching programs of each major, and improve the management of multi-major graduation project with evaluating of design quality and training model. According to the requirements for undergraduates of Washington Accord, quality evaluation mechanism of civil engineering multi-major graduation project has been established. It includes proof-vertification evaluation process, procedure-result evaluation process, evaluation standard of civil engineering multi-major graduation project and organization, in order to promote the combination of civil engineering multi-major graduation project and engineering practice effectively, and integrate the internationalization of civil engineering cultivation.

    Abstract:
    In this paper, we study an overview of higher engineering education in Britain, including an introduction, cultivating mode, professional certification system and registered engineer system. According to some problems existing in the higher engineering education of China, we offer some proposals such as combination of work and study to improve the engineering practice ability, academic autonomy to adjust curriculum system according to market demand, policy support to expand the depth and breadth of cooperation between colleges and enterprises, weakening the role of government to establishment the professional accreditation system of higher education, self evaluation in colleges and universities to establish an effective internal quality assurance system,improving the enthusiasm of professional certification .

    Through analyzing the development and application of BIM, this paper sums up the successful experience in building projects abroad in the BIM development strategy. With China condition, BIM is urgently needed by China building industry to meet its opportunities and challenges. In order to establish China construction project information management mode and develop strategy based on BIM,the status of China construction industry in information management is analyzed,a construction project information management mode based on BIM and information integration system are presented. The results may be helpful to improve information management level in construction industry. These measures can not only help students with enhancing independent thinking and active practicing BIM ability,but also improve the level of our schools BIM teaching reform.

    Abstract:
    Graduate education is an important part of education system in China, which is also the highest level. Different from other education level, the characteristic of graduate education is that a graduate student not only needs complete the basic courses, but also needs to do some scientific research. The scientific research is an important source of technological innovation. This study used questionnaires designed by the author to survey the current situation of universities graduates' scientific research. One hundred and thirty graduate students from seven famous universities participate in this survey. The results showed that about 60 percent of graduate students don't work hard enough in research and innovation activities and don't put high degree of enthusiasm to research activities, 79 percent of instructors give students a general research direction and tell them to do research by themselves. Graduates don't communicate with their instructors frequently, the majority of graduate students have problem consciousness, but whose creative thinking and critical spirit is still less.

    Abstract:
    In order to reach the aim of cultivating excellent civil engineers, this paper puts forward the teaching method of fault-tolerant, inspiration, mastery for bridge engineering courses, which are the core specialized courses of civil engineering, and the paper includes the following three aspects. Firstly, fault-tolerant of specialized knowledge is achieved by guiding students to find errors in textbooks and specifications. Moreover, in-depth understanding of specialized knowledge is reached through inspiring students to establish organic links of engineering hot issues and specialized knowledge. In addition, complex problems across the courses are designed, which help students to mastery specialized knowledge.

    To improve the teaching quality of fundamentals of steel structure design, the improvement on the aspects of cognition practice, importing engineering cases, auxiliary teaching means, internet teaching, curriculum design and examination methods was suggested and practiced based on the good understanding of the characteristics of the course. The practice indicated that in this proposed way students can easily grasp the theories and methods to design structural steel components, and their abilities to settle practical problems also can be well-trained.

    Case teaching adopted in steel structure courses will help improve the teaching efficiency and quality, but problems such as case scattered and related courses taught respectively exist in the implementation process, which is not conducive to the establishment of students'overall design thinking and cultivation of comprehensive ability. Based on case, this article conducts the research and practice on integrated teaching of steel structure curriculum. Taking three case that angle steel roof truss, single-story portal frame warehouse, multi-story steel frame laboratory building as the main line to carry out teaching, to realize the integrated teaching with three levels of basic design theory, the element design, and configuration integrated design, then finally realize the students application ability.

    The contents of tunneling engineering course is wide coverage and scattered, the traditional teaching mode is difficult to achieve the desired effect, it is urgent needed to innovative teaching mode. This paper combined with characteristics of the course, divided the course into five modules according to involving scientific and engineering problems, by using of modular teaching methods, they are basic concepts module, geological and mechanical problems module,construction module,new techniques and methods module,management and maintenance module. In addition, it is also proposed to divide the course module according to the engineering project construction phase, and further enrich modular teaching method. The practice shows, this teaching mode helps students in-depth understanding the course content, and establish the professional knowledge system.

    Abstract:
    The reform of civil engineering materials course in civil engineering specialty of Tongji Zhejiang College was introduced in this paper. In accordance with their cultivation objectives, specialized characteristic and the students' situation, the reform was carried out from the several aspects including teaching content, teaching method, experiment and curriculum testing pattern. Teaching contents were focused on the properties and applications of building structure materials with the update of content and the introduction of advanced materials. The course was taught by the teaching methods of the multimedia course ware and case teaching method in combination with strengthening the interaction between teaching and study and controlling the learning process. A new experiment teaching mode was formed, namely the coordination between the theoretical and experimental teaching in terms of contents and teachers, the concurrence of basic, comprehensive, and multiple solutions experiments, the combination of video, on-site demonstration and practical operation, and the experiment examination. A comprehensive evaluation method was taken as the curriculum testing pattern.

    Engineering measurement is an important basis work of construction project. it does not allow for errors or mistakes, otherwise it will lead to losses of the project, so engineering survey course is a very important basic course for civil engineering majors, the teaching quality is directly related to the training quality of students. In this paper, the control method of quality control theory in advance, event and post event is used. According to the quality control of classroom teaching before the preparation, classroom teaching and after class feedback three links to discuss the specific approach.     In the era of the information technology, innovation and individualization, this paper has raised six recommendations regarding the modern teaching of building models in universities on the basis of model teaching practice. The paper firstly emphasized the important positions model has made for architectural design; then suggested the combination teaching of model creation and manufacture, diversity of model production under Major Category Admission System; pertinence of crossing and connection in modeling; whole-process teaching of modeling class; and finally advocated the import of technology and emphasizing tradition at the same time. These six recommendations have provided a general reference for university teaching of architectural modeling.

    Structural design of tall buildings is related with various subjects and technical fields, and has complex and cross-discipline system, which is characterized as obvious society. Major of civil engineering is the higher education aimed at training engineering talents. In order to cultivate compound talents for civil engineering, it is necessary that the engineering philosophy should be introduced into the curriculum of structural design of tall buildings. The engineering systematic view, engineering social view and engineering ethical view are integrated with the curriculum of structural design of tall buildings, so that the students can use the global and systematic mode of thinking for structural design of tall buildings, and tackle the problems for structural design of tall buildings from social aspect.

    Abstract:
    Hydraulic is a compulsory course for civil engineering, also the core professional basic course during undergraduate education for water supply and drainage science and engineering. The teaching effect of this course is very important to the later study of the students on the professional courses that are involved in hydraulic knowledge. This article was focused on the exploration of improving the teaching quality of hydraulics course for water supply and drainage science and engineering. It was suggested that using multiple teaching mode, such as the combination of self-interaction, "chalk + blackboard blackboard" and video animation multimedia, is a kind of ideal teaching mode, which combines the heuristic and the teaching way. Second, improving the students ability of practice, and actively guiding the students to attend the independent innovation activities were proposed. This kind of teaching mode can fully motivate the enthusiasm of the students learning the hydraulics, while promoting the teaching quality, and ultimately achieve a better teaching effect.

    The subgrade and pavement engineering is a very professional and practical curriculum. The students educated based on the traditional education ideas which mainly focus on the theoretical teaching are difficult to meet the needs of the rapid development of road engineering construction. So the realistic significance of practice teaching reform was illustrated and the reform procedures and methods were also discussed based on the present teaching mode of the subgrade and pavement engineering and the employ standard of a company. Moreover, the practice teaching method for the subgrade and pavement engineering was proposed based on the practice teaching experience. The result of teaching practice show that the practice teaching method can improve the students' studying interest, cultivate the students' innovation abilities.

    Production Practice is very important for civil engineering undergraduate students, and it is a key step that serves as a link between past and future; here the "past" refers to the professional theories and knowledge in the first three years' study, and "future" refers to some courses in the senior year, the graduation design and the engineering practice after graduation.     Graduation design is the important practical teaching link of comprehensive training for civil engineering specialty. It is the important steps to train students' independent ability and to closely connect engineering practice. It is also an important stage to realize undergraduate training target.     Abstract:
    With the improvement of science technology in civil engineering, the requirement for talented personnel with high theoretical level and strong practical ability is improving. The traditional teaching method has the disadvantage of emphasizing theory and neglecting practice, and more importance is attached to imitation instead of independent thinking. This paper presents some reform measures to help student integrate theory with practice, increase the participation in theory study and experiment, cultivate the ability of literature research, scheme design, test operation and result analysis.     College student structural design competition is an important platform to train students' creativity and handing ability, as well as team cooperation consciousness. Conceptual design, optimization analysis and model making are the three important aspects in college student structural design competition. Optimization analysis is the key to get good competition results. The characteristics of the structure analysis software widely used at home and abroad are comparatively analyzed. Results show that MIDAS is the ideal structure analysis software for optimization analysis in college student structural design competition. Basic processes and key points in MIDAS simulating analysis are presented for reference in model comparing and structural optimization analysis.

Correct application of assisted teaching software is analyzed to solve course assisted learning, virtual experiments, testing and other aspects.
