Abstract:Graduate students' career planning education has gradually become a hot research issue in the society and universities along with the rising of employment pressure of graduates. As the terminal of higher education, graduate student education is responsible for outputting high-level talents for the country and the society. From the view of problems existing in career planning education system of graduate students in China at present stage, suggestions were put forward, including establishing the education mode of "2-academic-year courses + 1-academic-year dynamic assessment" and building a professional training team with college teachers and employment guidance personnel of government, to integrate career planning into graduate students' thinking from beginning to end, stimulate their career planning, improve the employment rate of graduate students, and transport a large number of high-level talents with strong professional skills and practical abilities for the country. Therefore, building a personalized and targeted graduate career planning education system has certain practical significance and reference value.

Abstract:Professional degree is a kind of degree with professional background, which has obvious professionalism and practicality. Professional degree graduates' learning purpose and learning needs are more explicit than academic degree ones, and their personality is more prominent. Investigating the degree category of professional degree graduates and the related knowledge of their professional field, analyzing the demand of knowledge structure and ability quality of the professional degree graduate education, some constructive suggestions were put forward by measuring the fitting degree between requirements of professional role and personality characteristics of professional degree graduates.

Abstract:This study randomly selected 20 full-time professional master's graduates from a research university in South China. Through semi-structured interviews, we knew their cognition about the professional and academic of full-time professional master's education. This study showed that the students have high value expectations of the professional and academic of full-time professional master's education, but the existing cultivation of school can't fully guarantee the unity of the two. Based on the analysis of the current situation of education, this paper put forward some effective measures to guarantee the unity of professional and academic of full-time professional master's education.

Abstract:With the rapid social-economy development in China's urban and rural areas, it is urgent to reform the training system for graduate students of architecture. The outcome-based education theory can meet this demand very well. Applying this theory can make four changes: from skilled education to research-oriented education, from subject orientation to target orientation, from teacher-centered approach to student-centered approach, and from quality control to continuous improvement. Outcome-based education pays more attention to students' abilities, by ways of giving full play to subjective initiative, enhancing core competitiveness, paying attention to cross disciplinary training, international cooperation training and school enterprise cooperation training, it can comprehensively innovate graduate students' training system of architecture.

Abstract:As a superior feature major in provincial university, building environment and energy engineering in Zhongyuan University of Technology needs transition under the new situation, i.e., social structure transformation and upgrading, innovation and entrepreneurship driven development. Abstract:According to the professional ability requirement of planners for new urbanization development in China, the concept model of characteristic applied undergraduate of urban and rural planning specialty (CAUURPS) was given, and the fundamental thoughts of developing CAUURPS by university-enterprise cooperative (告 UEC) was analyzed. The author believes that UEC is an available way of improving the training quality of CAUURPS. Based on teaching practice, the UEC-based training path of CAUURPS was put forward, which includes teachers "double division types", specialized course system optimization, practice in conjunction with competition; produced practice, the promotion of use value and innovation level of graduation design.

Abstract:The civil engineering specialty project of "5+2" and "3+4" segmented training program from high vocational training to university study, held by Suzhou University of Science & Technology and Suzhou Higher Vocational School of Construction & Communication, taking junior middle school graduates as their starting students, was taken as a case study. Key problems aroused from its formulation of personnel training scheme were listed out. Problems in cultivating objective, curriculum setting, practice schedule, and transfer examine were carefully analyzed and solved based on the principles of being responsible for students' vocational development, being convenient for students to choose the educational requirements, and being sure to maintain the teaching quality.

Abstract:With the rapid increase of air pollution and building energy consumption, there is an urgent need for building energy saving technologies. Based on the characteristics of building energy saving courses, this paper focused on the integration of new professional system and the training of professional talents. With the consideration of teaching materials design, theoretical teaching and curriculum design, this paper proposed new construction contents and teaching methods. Taking diversification, abundance and internationalization into consideration, the course content combines with curriculum design, survey practice, numerical simulation, and aims to deepen students' understanding of theories in practice and expand their comprehensive ability. It takes the "flipped class" model into class, providing reference for the construction of building energy saving courses.

Abstract:The course engineering hydrology requires more abundant theory and practice so that students feel studying more difficultly. Aimed to many students majoring in civil engineering studying this class with no interest and poor efficiency, the problems coming from the teachers and the students have been clarified in the process of the teaching, and some improvements in teaching pattern, teaching method and teaching program combining with practical teaching have been proposed. The results indicate that close combination of theoretical knowledge and the major, and flexible teaching methods are all benefit to enhance the enthusiasm of the students majoring in civil engineering and make this course teaching agree with the major training goals.

Abstract:Reinforced concrete structure course is a compulsory subject for students majoring in civil engineering, which is also a significant theoretical foundation for their future design and construction. Engineering accidents are often caused because of defects of materials, construction and design. Based on the structural analysis, these accidents can be considered as the large deformation and failure of the load-carrying members, e.g., beam, column and plate. In the teaching process, theoretical analysis of selective cases combining with the main points of the course can strengthen students' understanding of the knowledge topics and improve their safety awareness. Meanwhile, reinforced methods and preventive measures can be proposed according to the knowledge from the course. This pattern based on practical engineering can develop students' interests in reinforced concrete structure course and establish a theoretical foundation for their further design and construction.

Abstract:The background of teaching reform of high-rise building structure design course was analyzed; based on teaching practice of the course, the teaching problems of complex contents, boring teaching process, alienated theory from engineering practice, unreasonable assessment methods and other problems existing in the course were analyzed and summarized. Abstract:Bridges and roads and relevant personnel and technical resources in Xiamen are rich and influential, and its urban transportation planning and constructions are combination of practicality, artistry and ecology, which are the most vivid and intuitive teaching materials. Abstract:Geometric components analysis of plane system is one of the most important and difficult parts in the course of structural mechanics, and it is the basis and prerequisite for the study of the following content of structural mechanics. In view of the practical problems encountered by students in geometric components analysis, "2+2+3+4" model for geometric components analysis was put forward through analysis, induction and summary of a large number of problem sets. The model makes the process of geometric components analysis of plane system be carried out in accordance with certain model and steps, and makes the seemingly impossible analysis become rule-based. According to the three different methods for geometric components analysis, examples were respectively supplemented in detail with analysis steps. It provides new model and reference for geometric components analysis of plane system in structural mechanics.

Abstract:Combined with the teaching of descriptive geometry and engineering drawing for students majoring in civil engineering, the experience of the teaching reform and practice was summed up. The problems existing in the course teaching were pointed out, and the methods and measures of teaching reform were introduced. These methods and measures include adopting the BOPPPS teaching method, using multimedia technology to display shape configuration and engineering structures, taking examples of right and wrong ways in engineering practice, and using SolidWorks to build 3D model base. In addition, it is necessary to carry out individual guidance for the students who have difficulty in studying and the students who are from the minority nationality area. Practice shows that the above teaching measures can effectively improve students' learning interest and mastery of the curriculum.

Abstract:Numerical simulation technology is a basic skill for civil engineering students to carry out academic research. Through the course of numerical simulation, the teaching mode of "software supermarket" was proposed in teaching practice, which can well meet the needs of students' diversification and individuation. The structure design contest titles and the engineering cases were taken as training task to cultivate students' team cooperation ability, stimulate students' study interest, and improve students' innovative consciousness and ability of solving practical problems. After three years' teaching practice of the core construction course of civil engineering software analysis and application, teaching effect was proved to be good, and the students' level of scientific research was raised.

Abstract:Capstone course is an important required course to the certification requirements of international engineering education, which attracts extensive attention in international engineering education. Abstract:In recent years, the civil engineering construction technology has developed rapidly in China. Undoubtedly, one of the most representative developments is the BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology. By means of introducing the virtual reality technique represented by BIM technology as the construction teaching experiment, the long-term problem in establishing substantive construction experiment can be solved effectively. This paper took the three-dimensional virtual modeling experiment design based on BIM frame structure as research object, adopted some research methods like theoretical analysis, experiment validation and so on, designed the frame structure three-dimensional virtual experiment scheme, and compiled computer handbooks, experiment task books and experiment report compiling instruction. Through the information modeling experiment teaching which is virtually constructed by Revit software, this paper can promote students' understanding of BIM theoretical knowledge and their mastery of information modeling.

Abstract:Construction industry has been included in pilot program since May 1, 2016 to pay value-added tax rather than business tax. Value-added tax is managed through invoices strictly and deductible withholdings on VAT has direct impacts on VAT bearing of enterprises. As a key part of construction cost, labor cost takes about 15%~25%, so large construction companies put great emphasis on whether they could get VAT special invoices. As management level and operation level separate from each other in construction companies, labor subcontracting has become the main form of construction in our country. By providing tax advices to several large construction companies on "business tax reform of VAT", the author investigated labor subcontracting in traffic construction projects, established cost-benefit model for establishing labor subcontracting enterprises by large construction companies in the article and conducted contrastive analysis on several labor employment ways, including internal establishment, external selection of labor subcontracting enterprises and labor dispatching.

Abstract:Graduation design is the main way of training engineering students to use their knowledge to solve engineering practical problems and to make engineering knowledge innovation. The teaching quality and management level of graduation design directly affect the application-oriented undergraduate talent training quality. Abstract:With the increasing abundance of knowledge in the internet era, out-of-class learning plays a more significant role in students' learning process than before. However, this part of learning is still largely being neglected and thus unstructured in the basic curriculum of architectural education. This paper examined two widely applied teaching modes—the "studio mode" and the "lecture-aided mode"—from the perspective of connectivism theory, pointing out their deficiency in incorporating out-of-class learning into teaching process. This paper introduced the "micro-units" mode as a supplement to the previous two modes and incorporated part of the out-of-class learning content into current teaching system. Implementation principles of "micro-units" mode and its further potentials were also discussed.

Abstract:The numerical simulation teaching for the analysis of seismic response of building structures under time domain and frequency domain, and their relations with each other, was studied by using MatLab and its internal functions. Taking the seismic response of a three story building structure as teaching object, by using MatLab's internal functions, the numerical integral and convolution integral of time domain analysis, and the Fourier transform and transfer function analysis of frequency analysis were realized. The transformation relation between time domain and frequency domain was demonstrated by numerical simulation, and the influence of parameter variation on seismic response of structures was discussed. This research has reference value for the application of MatLab and other software to improve the teaching quality of architectural structure.

Abstract:Affection, reason and law coexist with contradictions and conflicts in China society, which has been shown in every aspect of social life. Abstract:The arrival of the era of big data brings challenges to traditional intellectual property education in universities. By combing the connotation of big data and the necessity and importance of intellectual property education in universities, the relationship between big data and intellectual property education of universities was interpreted. On this basis, suggestions for specific application of big data in universities' intellectual property education were made from three aspects: to enhance teachers and students' literacy of big data, to build the network teaching platform, and to creat multivariate evaluation system, to provide reference for a better application of big data in the field of universities' intellectual property education.
