Abstract:The sustainable development of higher education relates directly to the whole society development. It also relates to the great rejuvenation of the country and nationality. Abstract:In the perspective of social participation, promoting the transition of governance mode of higher education from traditional single power center to multiple governance can effectively boost the modernization of education governance system. Third party social forces apart from the government and the universities taking part in the system of university governance can free it from the tendency of "administration" and "blocking". To overcome the lack of social participation in thinking and the limitation of path of university governance, systematic and standardized institutional supply should be provided to ensure the realization of rights, responsibilities and interests of social participation, and a smooth power balance and win-win cooperation relationship should be constructed among the government, the society, and the universities. That is, to ensure the legal space, to regulate the system of power and responsibility, and to improve and expand the thinking and way of social participation in university governance.

Abstract:With the development of China's social economy, the demand for talent has put forward higher requirements. In order to meet the needs of the society and the country, the State Council proposed the "double first-class" university construction strategy to accelerate the development of higher education. "Double first-class" strategy intends to build world-class universities and first-class disciplines, and these constructions are inseparable from first-class teaching staff. Taking the "double first-class" strategy as the field, this article analyzed the relationship between the "double first-class" strategy and the strengthening of the construction of teaching staff in colleges and universities, and it also compared three aspects such as the educational quality, the teacher's quality and the scientific research achievements of the first-class universities both at home and abroad. It analyzed the existing dilemma and the influencing factors of the construction of faculty in colleges and universities in the horizon of "double first-class" strategy, and then put forward a proper path for the construction of teaching staff in China from the aspects of optimizing the internal governance structure, accelerating the reform of personnel system, improving and perfecting the incentive mechanism, strengthening the construction of teachers' morality in colleges and universities, and so on.

Abstract:The first-class level of education teaching management is the basic guarantee of improving the quality of talent training in colleges and universities, and it is also an important part of the full implementation of the "double first-class" strategy. The development goals of "double first-class" construction not only put forward "demand-side" request for universities' current discipline construction and talent cultivation, but also put forward higher standards for the "supply-side" management and service. Teaching management staff plays an important and positive role in teaching organization, teaching guarantee, teacher-student communication, and service level improvement. Teaching management staff also bears the important mission of outstanding innovative talents training, servicing for discipline construction, and university culture construction. This article analyzed the problems existing in universities' current teaching management team construction and ability promotion and put forward countermeasures and suggestions, to do good to the "double first-class" construction.

Abstract:As a kind of resources, urban underground space has been widely developed and utilized, but there is no uniform standard and model for its corresponding professional training. By taking the construction of urban underground space engineering of Fujian University of Technology as an example, based on the training target location of applied technique professionals, combining with the actual situation of the major, facing the talent demand of the west-strait economic zone, and around the teaching staff, students training and professional model, this paper carried out some useful explorations, to provide reference for similar colleges to training applied technical professionals.

Abstract:Course system is the core carrier of achieving talents training goals. Human geography and urban-rural planning is a new profession split from the original environment resource and management of urban-rural planning, and construction, evaluation and optimization of its course system has the urgency and importance. Based on systematical carding and evaluation of related literature, this article tracked and analyzed the implementation of course system of human geography and urban-rural planning in the University of Jinan, and looked for prominent problems; and then proposed a framework of strategies for course system optimization combining with the mode and mechanism of professional development on the view of applied talents training, to provide effective reference for professional development in related colleges and universities.

Abstract:In order to adapt to the development of the times and better cultivate civil engineering professional compound talents, on the basis of investigation and study, this paper summarized the plight of talent training in civil engineering, and laid special stress on analyzing the deficiencies of traditional undergraduate tutorial system. Combining with the characteristics of civil engineering talents training, reform and improvement measures were put forward, and had been carried out in the major of geotechnical and underground engineering. Abstract:On the basis of civil aviation professional course construction of soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering, the instructional objectives were formulated considering characteristics of big class teaching, the inside plan and outside activities of teaching strategy were designed. Attention targets and interest orientation of post-90s students were studied, and then reform plan of teaching method to increase course attraction was proposed. Some proposals of classroom teaching in teaching management were offered, and situational teaching method was adopted to reform practice teaching link. Then, new teaching model of soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering was built. Teaching trial about partial research results was carried out, and favourable effect was obtained, which provided theory basis and teaching reference for teaching reformation of relevant professional basic courses.

Abstract:Heat transfer is a course with characteristics of numerous contents especially rich theoretical analysis, independent knowledge and many related courses. The problems such as boring mathematical analysis, non-expanded theoretical knowledge, single teaching form and disjointed theoretical and practical teaching appeared one after another during the whole teaching process. Aiming at the above problems, the following aspects related with teaching contents were improved, including merging research problems into teaching, strengthening theoretical background, selecting outstanding textbook and reforming test mode. In addition, teaching methods, including strengthening process assessment and practical capability, carrying out problem oriented teaching and WeChat classroom, were employed. The results showed that students' learning interest was improved, and the knowledge of heat transfer was more firmly mastered.

Abstract:According to the need of cultivation of civil engineering multi-objective versatile and practical talents, the PBL model which is aimed at cultivating students' engineering ability was applied in the teaching of bridge engineering design. The implementation steps and problems in the application of PBL model were discussed. The curriculum design took the project as a carrier and interweaved the theoretical teaching. It has been proved that the application of PBL in the teaching of bridge engineering design played a positive role in improving teaching quality and developing students' practical abilities and creative spirits.

Abstract:Based on the preliminary practice on the reform in education of park design for urban and rural planning junior students in the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning of Guizhou University, current situation and reform methods of the course were discussed in this paper. The reform effect was researched by observation, interview and questionnaire survey. Suggestions were also put forward to deepen the reform. Practice has proved that the reform in education of park design was positive in establishing the landscape architecture knowledge system, improving the quality of design education and cultivating new type of urban and rural planning students.

Abstract:Landscape architecture is an important course for students who major in garden. Abstract:With the promotion of internationalization process and "sponge city" construction, it is imperative to cultivate professional talents of water supply and drainage engineering with international vision. Abstract:At present, there are more and more universities set up English-only instruction. Abstract:Experimental teaching is an important part of teaching work in colleges and universities. It is a bridge of communication between theory and practice. To improve the quality of experimental teaching and to cultivate innovative talents with high scientific research qualities, strong innovative spirits and practice abilities, two specific methods for the reform of geotechnical experimental teaching were proposed. The first method is to demand students to conduct research-oriented preview and then design and submit spreadsheets for the geotechnical experiments. The second method is to carry out numerical simulations for some geotechnical experiments and to analyze the influence factors on the experimental process. Through this teaching reform, the quality of preview and the experimental teaching can be improved and the combination between theory and practice can be promoted. Abstract:In order to study the mechanical properties of white cardboard, bamboo skin and paulownia used by structure design contest for college students, the LDS-5 electronic tensile testing machine was used to carry out the axial tension test on 222 specimens, to investigate the stress performance of white cardboard, bamboo skin and paulownia in the condition of different thickness, width and length. The results showed that the breakage of all specimens of the three materials occurred at the normal section, and the breakage of a few specimens of the bamboo skin and paulownia occurred at the oblique section. In the course of the specimens' loading, because the tension was exerted eccentrically, the ultimate bearing capacity of specimens was weakened. White cardboard specimens' length change had no significant effect on ultimate bearing capacity of the specimens. Bamboo skin materials' ultimate strength showed a nonlinear growth with thickness increases. Considering the strength, structural weight and other factors, the 0.35 mm-thickness bamboo skin materials were most suitable for the production of cable structures. Elastic modulus and ultimate tensile strength of different materials, as well as the fitting formula of relationship between ultimate bearing capacity of tension member (Pu) and widget width (D) were obtained, to provide a more scientific design basis for students' structure design and to provide a more accurate performance data for structure simulation analysis.

Abstract:To construct the innovation and entrepreneurship practice platform is currently a hot issue of innovation and entrepreneurship education research aiming at engineering students. Abstract:In the current teaching of soil mechanics, the backward of solving methods leads to the lack of students' ability to solve practical problems. Abstract:Lack of comprehensive and exploratory professional experiments and practical trainings is considered to be the key problem that restricts the cultivation of talents with practical and innovative abilities for the major of water conservancy and hydropower engineering in Nanchang University. According to the virtual simulation practice teaching philosophies of serving teaching, integrating scientific research with teaching and orienting engineering, engineering practices and research projects were transformed into the contents of the virtual simulation practice teaching. Modularized virtual simulation experiment platforms were established with regional characteristics and subject features, and several experimental courses based on these platforms were offered for students to carry out comprehensive and exploratory experiments. It was found that the open and autonomous virtual simulation practice teaching could improve the teaching quality effectively for this major, and help to cultivate students' practical and innovative abilities.
