Abstract:There are some deviations between the direction of talents training in local colleges and the market demand in the adjustment of industrial structure, and the structural contradictions of higher education become more prominent. Combined with the requirements of Ministry of Education on undergraduate application-oriented transformation, application-oriented talents training of civil engineering should take full account of the level of regional economic development, market demand, and industrial structure and other actual situations, to construct a talents training model of "one body-two wings-three transformations", to promote the integration of production and education, strengthen employment innovation, and serve local economic development. The transformation of civil engineering talents training to innovative application and technical and skilled type can better meet the requirements of local economic development and talent market demands.

Abstract:Based on "Internet+ education" thinking and SPOC (Small Private Online Course) teaching model, combined with the present situation of engineering talents training, an engineering talents training model centered on Engineering Education-Small Private Online Course (E-SPOC) and its create ideas are proposed, moreover, combining with the reform of specialty education, this paper discusses the construction scheme and implementation of engineering talents education mode. This model tries to utilize the Internet media, combine online and offline (O2O) and classroom, and dock in higher education and continuing education. Abstract:More and more enterprises begin to use BIM technology in the management of practical engineering projects. Abstract:The combination between specialized degree graduate students training and social career demand is insufficient, and it is difficult to cultivate high-level applied talents for engineering field. Abstract:The construction of engineering case-base based on "Internet+" is crucial in terms of cultivating excellent engineering talents in modern higher education. Engineering case-base which is involved in professional degree education should meet the needs of being typical, objective, advanced and innovative. In this paper, the necessity and requirements of professional degree postgraduate students' engineering quality training are analyzed. And engineering case-base based on "Internet+" is considered to be suitable to realize the reconstruction of large projects and improve engineering quality of postgraduate students. Besides, the paper also includes methods of case-base construction, which are mainly divided into the following aspects:resource integration, resource informatization, online teaching model and practical teaching evaluation method. With regard to development techniques, WordPress (a web development platform) and multimedia are adopted. Based on the methods and techniques, system framework of case-base can be established. At the end of this paper, the inheritance and sustainable development of case-base platform is analyzed.

Abstract:Contemporary graduate students are higher educated groups whose thought tendency has shown new characteristics of the era. Tutors and counselors are the executors and the two most important forces of ideological and political education for the graduates. They are cooperative to teach the graduates and their core work is to combine moral education with teaching, scientific research and discipline construction and so on. During the education of ideological and political instructing and their development, the law of growth and characteristics of graduate student group are followed. Abstract:During the actual running of the postgraduate workstation subordinated to Hubei Highway Intelligent Maintenance Technology Corp., problems such as postgraduate students' resource, selection and determination of postgraduate students' entering time and some postgraduates' failing to meet the requirements of entering the workstation have occurred. Aiming at these problems, solutions such as improving awareness, strengthening team construction, entering the workstation ahead of schedule, optimizing the selection of research topics, stricter assessment as well as improving of training mode are proposed on the basis of the long-effect mechanism theory of postgraduate workstation. The goal is to sustain a long-term and stable running of the workstation and the three parties of the university, the enterprise and the postgraduates can all benefit from it.

Abstract:Chinese urban construction and development are gradually entering the development stage of deep-level optimization, and professional planners are the key to the development of cities. How to cultivate professionals who can grasp the law of urban development is a problem which should be pondered over by the universities which provide urban planning education. While in America, urban planning education started earlier, and its development is more systematic and more perfect. Therefore, this paper makes a comparative study of urban planning education in Chinese and American universities from the aspects of the development process of modern urban planning education, the influence of the government and the industry on urban planning education, the development of planning departments, the teaching contents and models and so on, clarifies the gap of urban planning education between Chinese and American universities at present, and puts forward the experience and lessons which are worth referring from the development process of urban planning education in America, as well as the possible development direction of Chinese urban planning education in the future, to provide reference and inspiration for the reform and upgrading of urban planning education in Chinese universities.

Abstract:In recent years, there is a rising demand for civil engineering-law compound talents in building industry. A series of teaching reforming measures have been taken to meet this demand in Tongji University, and starting a new course named construction law is an important practice. The paper compares the construction law course in Tongji University with the course in four world top universities from the aspects of curriculum setting, curriculum requirements, curriculum contents, teaching and assessments, so as to propose a teaching reformation scheme for Tongji University.

Abstract:This paper introduces the concept, systematized design idea and design basis of the flipped classroom mode. An implementation scheme of the flipped classroom model is designed and applied to the teaching practice of theoretical mechanics. The flipped classroom mode can be efficiently utilized in the teaching of theoretical mechanics. The implementation of flipped classroom mode is not only beneficial to improving students' scores, but also conducive to improving their learning enthusiasm and cultivating their various comprehensive abilities such as self-learning ability, communication ability and team cooperation ability. Abstract:According to the requirements of international engineering certification, the teaching design idea of the steel structure course based on engineering certification is given drawing lessons from foreign advanced education idea. The teaching objectives of the steel structure course are given. On this basis, the teaching reform of teaching method, course content, and assessment method is analyzed. Perfecting the positioning of talent training with the goal of graduate competencies, an effective way of talent training for engineering applied talents is explored. Abstract:Guided by the application-oriented talents training goal, the paper analyzes the characteristics and teaching reform goals of building construction course. Abstract:Traditional mode of curriculum evaluation is mainly dependent on the scores of final test with the supplement of class performance and assignment, whose disadvantage is not able to reasonably assess the actual condition of students in the process of course studying and especially being not to provide a quantitative assessment for the knowledge grasping level. A new method of process-based evaluation has been provided and carried out in civil engineering core course of concrete structure fundamentals. Higher percentage of class performance and assignment has been adopted in the new evaluation mode and multiple evaluation patterns for class performance and assignment, such as class quiz, class discussion, project-based assignment, students lecture and academic paper have been employed. The purpose of strengthening process-based evaluation is to activate the enthusiasm of students and further improve the learning level of knowledge in class. The application results show that it is an effective method to improve class efficiency and guarantee teaching quality.

Abstract:The area moment method can solve the deformation and displacement of statically determinate structure. The fast moment area method presented in this paper can not only solve the displacement and angle of the structural key points quantitatively, but can also quantitatively and qualitatively draw structural deformation diagram. This method has intuitive geometrical relationship and clear concept, and can reduce the difficulty of drawing the structure deformation diagram rapidly.

Abstract:Sluggish teaching content, inflexible teaching methods and teaching platform are the main reasons causing curriculum system of cold and heat sources of building not yielded remarkable social benefits. Under architectural energy-saving backdrop, to construct curriculum group of cold and heat sources of buildings, it is an urgent task to set up the consciousness of energy saving. This study analyzes the goal of the core course group of cold and heat sources of building. Abstract:According to the status of the course teaching of pump and pumping station, the CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) technology is put forward to be used in the course teaching of pump and pumping station. The feasibility and advantage of using CFD in the course teaching are analyzed. Case analysis about how to use CFD in the course teaching of pump and pumping station is given. The practice has shown that this method can stimulate the students' learning interest and improve the quality of course teaching. Abstract:In this paper, structural mechanics teaching in Inner Mongolia University of Technology is presented as a case. "IMUT civil structural mechanics", which has been used in structural mechanics aided teaching, is developed based on the WeChat public platform. The platform consists of three modules:"basic knowledge", "interactive teaching" and "structure encyclopedia". Through the platform, course teaching's limitation of time and space is broken through, interaction between teachers and students is enhanced. The WeChat public platform is an effective complement to the traditional teaching and can improve the teaching effect.

Abstract:With the popularization of the Internet and changes in the needs of the public, the popular science media has also been innovating with the changes of the times. From popular science to public understanding of science and science communication, science popularization as a practice to enhance public scientific literacy has changed the medium of its dissemination. From the perspective of audience needs of science communication, that is, from the perspective of people's needs, this paper sheds light on the changes of media in the historical evolution of science popularization, clarifies the changes in the audience needs based on different stages of communication, and thus triggers changes in the media; then it analyzes the necessary of new media platform being a new medium for scientific communication. At the same time, the paper analyzes the current issues related to science communication under the new media platform based on audiences' needs, and proposes corresponding countermeasures for the problems.

Abstract:In essence, science communication is a person-to-person interaction with ethical attributes. First, the communication subject and the audience have moral judgment. Second, the change of the science communication model is influenced by social morality. The third is the moral attribute of scientific knowledge itself. However, unlike scientific research, in addition to being scientific, authentic, and normative, science communication should also have fairness in the way of dissemination, justice in the motivation of dissemination, and criticalness in the attitude of communication.
