    Abstract:
    Open service is an important function of the engineering research centers of the Ministry of Education. Mountain Bridge and Materials Engineering Research Center of Ministry of Education has actively responded to national policies and accumulated some experience in open service. Open services mainly include the setting of open funds, hosting academic conferences, opening and sharing instruments and equipment, actively conducting academic exchanges, actively exploring and deepening international cooperation in production, learning and research, as well as conducting international cooperation, scientific communication, and foreign technical services. These innovative measures have greatly stimulated the service ability, research and development ability, social influence and foreign exchange vitality of the center, and explored a new mode for the open service of the engineering research centers of the Ministry of Education of local universities. The achievements of the center in open service can provide reference for the construction and operation of similar engineering centers.

    Abstract:
    The key laboratory of the Ministry of Education is an important public platform for scientific research experiments in universities, and its construction and management is an effective means to promote the opening and sharing of scientific research resources. Take the Key Laboratory of New Technology for Construction of Cities in Mountain Area for example, combined with practical problems, this paper introduces five main experiences in laboratory construction:rationalization of talent echelon construction by introducing leading talents; enhancement of research security by increasing hardware investment; integration of industry, education, research and application to promote the development of science and education platform; expanding academic exchanges with foreign countries based on the characteristics of mountainous areas; managing virtual and reality alternation and realizing hardware environment usage to be shared. It can provide reference for operation and construction management of public platform for university scientific research experiments.

    Abstract:
    Combining with the orientation and requirements of national professional ability training of professional master's degree graduate students, based on a brief analysis on the relevant studies and references, this paper studies on the enterprise graduate workstation which was constructed by Southeast University. We choose in standing professional master students and the tutors for different questionnaire. On the basis of questionnaire results, the students and their tutors' perceptions and opinions about the cultivating mode of enterprise graduate workstation are analyzed and summarized, and then the effects on professional master's degree graduate students professional skills training by the enterprise graduate workstation are evaluated and analyzed. Then, this paper puts forward some suggestions for improving the existing problems.

    Abstract:
    According to the general policy of postgraduate education reform in China, this paper analyzes the current situation of doctoral cultivation and degree granting in universities under the background of "double first-class" construction. In view of the shortcomings of the traditional education and evaluation methods, this paper clarifies the reform ideas of paying attention to the process supervision and paying attention to the diversification of evaluation methods. In order to improve the reform of doctoral candidates' innovation achievement evaluation system, the paper puts forward a series of measures, such as building a first class doctoral teaching staff and improving the tutor post management system, establishing the supervision mechanism of doctoral thesis quality, and formulating corresponding innovation achievement evaluation scheme according to the characteristics of different universities and disciplines. The relevant reform measures can provide references for the cultivation and degree granting of doctoral candidates in universities.

    Abstract:
    Civil engineering is a practical subject, and therefore, the cultivation of civil engineering talents needs to combine with practice. There is a significant meaning for improving cultivation quality in the integration of production, teaching and research. Combining with more than ten years teaching experiences, the civil engineering talents training model with integration of production-university-research has been created. Colleges need to cultivate more inter-disciplinary talents who can meet the needs of society, and corporations have to put forward professional and technical requirements according to their needs. Only through the way to building a system of production-university-research cooperative education that integrates "collaborative education", "collaborative teaching", and "collaborative innovation" by colleges and corporations together, can it promote the cultivation of civil engineering talents in the integration of production-teaching-research effectively.

    Abstract:
    Intelligent manufacturing is the main trend in manufacturing today, and talent is the primary resource. Colleges and universities, as the origin of export of a large number of talents, face huge challenges. Aiming at the problems of engineering application ability cultivation of domestic college mechanical engineering students, this paper proposes new requirements for the talents of mechanical engineering professionals in the context of intelligent manufacturing based on the training objectives and the corporate social needs analysis. Based on the analysis of the status quo of the training of mechanical engineering professionals in some local undergraduate colleges, a new multidisciplinary cross-integration training model suitable for mechanical engineering professionals is proposed. Compared with the traditional interdisciplinary teaching program, the new multidisciplinary cross-integration training model has obvious universality. It can provide suggestions for cultivating high-quality intelligent manufacturing application talents that meet the requirements of enterprises.

    Abstract:
    With the rapid development of internet technology, information technology and engineering education are deeply integrated. In order to meet the training needs of engineering talents, this thesis analyzes the ability structure of engineering talents, and constructs the "ability tree" of engineering talents meeting to the graduation requirements of engineering education, and develops Engineering Education-Small Private Online Course (E-SPOC) engineering talent teaching mode based on docking classroom education and continuing education with information technology. It discusses the application of E-SPOC engineering talents teaching mode in engineering education teaching and ability training from the aspects of teaching content, teaching process organization and teaching evaluation mode, and according to the "ability tree" explores the implementation path of E-SPOC engineering talent teaching mode.

    Abstract:
    Engineering education accreditation is considered fundamental reforming orientation to the institutional constructions of talent cultivation for engineering majors, while technology competitions for college students are also considered important approaches to achieve the educational objectives and graduation demands under engineering education accreditation. On the understanding that guidance to technology competitions is dealt with in light of the 3 core ideas of engineering education accreditation, including student-centered, comprehensive ability outcome-based and continuous quality improvement, the structural equation model (SEM) of the competency of guiding teachers is established with competency concepts and principles. Moreover, assumptions of SEM model are proved and formation mechanisms of the competency of guiding teachers are analyzed through a case study of NACtranS. It is suggested that the competency of guiding teachers is consisted of 3 dimensions, including topic selecting, works producing and team managing. While there are 10 characteristic vectors related to the 3 dimensions and 5 of them have more obvious direct influence on these dimensions. The hierarchical differentiation and regional differentiation of colleges are the main reasons for topic selecting performances and works producing performances of guiding teachers through indirect interference of intermediate variable. Countermeasures to improve the competency continuously can be raised by both effects achieving in the short time and connotation constructing in the long run.

    Abstract:
    To further optimize the supervisor studio education mode and improve the training quality of the Master of Architecture, based on the literature review of supervisor studio research, the paper puts forward the function of supervisor studio in the cultivation of architecture graduate students from four aspects:ideological and political education, curriculum learning, academic ability and professional skills. Moreover, the survey adopts a questionnaire method to evaluate the training effect of the students in Shandong Jianzhu University, and finally proposes targeted optimization strategies. The research shows that the studio has become one of the main space carriers for the Master of Architecture, and played an important and positive role in the training process.

How to promote the development of education under the wave of big data, steadily improve students' data literacy and scientific research quality, and master the challenges of the fourth paradigm has become an urgent problem to be solved. This paper focuses on the analysis of the changes in the learning methods and scientific research methods of college students in the era of big data. It specifically studies the huge impact of big data on the cultivation of graduate students' scientific research quality from the aspects of teaching mode and scientific research methods. It also analyzes the impact of diversified data on such issues as intellectual property rights and scientific research ethics.     Abstract:
    Curriculum reform is one of the important parts in graduate education. Combining with the characteristics of the course content of science and technology of concrete materials and the actual demand of civil engineering specialty, this paper puts forward the teaching reform goal of "deep integration of theory and practice, and great improvement of research ability" in the course teaching. The teaching mode of dual carrier consisted of classroom and project is established, and the integrated teaching idea and method of "theoretical knowledge education-research practice education" oriented to strengthen the cultivation of research ability are formed. It has effectively promoted the improvement of graduate students' autonomous learning ability, knowledge application ability and scientific research practice ability, and has achieved good results in the practice of curriculum teaching reform.

    In recent years, China has taken comprehensive actions in promoting the construction of curriculum-based ideological and political education in various universities as a starting point, and vigorously promoted the deep integration of ideological and political work and personnel training in universities. Taking the construction of the first-class curriculum group of civil engineering in Hohai University as an example, this paper expounds on the implementation of the curriculum group construction of civil engineering in the new era which serves the general goal of fostering virtue through education under the new situation of curriculum construction required by the concept of "recognizing, adapting and seeking for change". It introduces some novel ideas of ideological and political curriculum groups from the perspective of the major system, based on historical commonness and characteristics of the times, it also refers to the construction of 20 indicators concerning ideological and political education and a matrix system of major-curriculum relationship in ideological and political education. From the research progress in three levels of curriculum group, curriculum and classroom, the problem of "for whom to learn" is hereby solved. Meanwhile, promotion will also be made in ideological and political education in combination with professional certification and emerging engineering construction, which jointly solve the problem of "how to learn and what to learn". By interlinking the three parts, educating and teaching are well integrated, and some outstanding results have been achieved, which leads to significant radiation in universities across China and acquires full affirmation of the leaders in the Ministry of Education.

    Following the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping at the forum with teachers of ideological and political theoretical courses, taking the principle of "building strong moral character" as the basis of curriculum-based ideological and political education, the basic idea of ideological and political reform in engineering discipline group courses is condensed and proposed in the three directions of reform direction, system construction and team building. Based on Marxist epistemology and the connotation of professional courses in engineering discipline, the ideological and political system of curriculum is constructed. The hierarchical ideological and political carrier of curriculum, which includes engineering background, engineering project examples, engineering history, engineering philosophy, academic tradition and discipline history, is presented. By analyzing the main elements of ideological and political education at all levels, it can guide students to have the big picture in mind, set up lofty aspirations and clarify laws. It is expected to realize the education objectives of improving students' thinking level, delivering the spirit of university motto and cultivating native land emotion.     The course of design of reinforced concrete structures of Xi'an University of Science and Technology is one of the core courses of civil engineering, and meanwhile is one of the first-class offline courses for undergraduates in China (the first batch). The content of this course includes the design of RC slabs, single-story industrial plants structures and multi-story building structures. With the aim to improve the professional skills of undergraduates comprehensively by raising the spirits of patriot, science, craftsmanship, law, responsibility and humanity, the teaching team creates a professional skill-ideological and political teaching double-core course construction idea based on teaching masters, certificated course and discipline. Meanwhile, the team focuses on the system design, mode innovation and case base formation of ideological and political teaching, and the three-stage system for teaching skill improvement, the four-element system for teaching process, the five-pattern system for teaching methods and the six-module system of case base are preliminarily formed to conduct a three-dimensional ideological and political teaching system.

    Curriculum-based ideological and political education is of great significance to the college moral education. Professional courses are the main position of curriculum-based ideological and political education, and the teaching plan design of professional courses is an important link to ensure the effective implementation of curriculum-based ideological and political education. After studying the characteristics of engineering courses and following the basic rules of teaching plan design, taking the core course of civil engineering-soil mechanics as an example, the overall orientation of the course is considered and refined. It is necessary to integrate appropriate emotional value and other ideological and political teaching objectives into the teaching plan design.     Based on the in-depth analysis of MOOC and "flipped classroom" teaching mode, the paper discusses the trend of applying "MOOC + flipped classroom" teaching mode in university teaching, clarifies its positioning as a teaching method and mode, and points out that "flipped classroom" teaching mode not only emphasizes students' subjectivity, but also confirms teachers' leading role in the whole teaching process. The successful practice of "MOOC + flipped classroom" teaching mode in theoretical mechanics course of Guangzhou University shows that students' willingness of autonomous learning has a very important impact on the teaching effect under this mode, the biggest difficulty in implementing this teaching mode lies in the difference in the effect of before class autonomous learning and knowledge base, and teachers' control of each teaching link is the fundamental guarantee for the effectiveness of "MOOC + flipped classroom" teaching mode.

    The course construction of earthquake resistance and disaster prevention of engineering structure is very important to cultivate comprehensive talents with both ability and morality in the field of disaster prevention and mitigation. To fulfill the basic task of cultivating talents with moral integrity, enrich teaching materials and teaching methods, improve the activity of classroom, and guarantee the teaching quality, combined with professional interpretation and discussion of typical engineering damage, an infiltrative ideological and political teaching mode of the course has been established. The bilingual interactive teaching practice of the course has been implemented through teaching and thematic instruction by international famous experts.     Abstract:Starting from the quality of architectural engineering, based on the analysis of the current situation of the training of architectural professionals and the teaching of architectural construction technology, this paper explores the application of engineering design patterns in the teaching of architectural construction courses, and puts forward the teaching ideas to combine case teaching of engineering design patterns with architecture course design. Through the demonstration of engineering design teaching process and the analysis of teaching effect, this paper expounds the procedure and characteristics of engineering design teaching.     Abstract:
    Engineering cost major is an applied technic vocational educational major which cultivates high-quality and skilled talents pragmatically and efficiently. Traditionally, basic and core courses are divided according to different semesters, as well as the course structure of map recognition and construction technology, measurement and pricing, and software application. Under the current new technical conditions such as Internet plus, BIM technological application, and prefab building promotion, suitability reform and innovation should be carried out. This paper puts forward the "project whole process integration and reverse learning method" (P&R integrated reverse teaching method), based on whole-process, modularity, integration, reverse teaching method, to build a curriculum structure in different majors and under whole process integration in accordance with "branch or sub branch project" as the object. P&R integrated reverse teaching method can better meet the requirements of "integration of industry and education, school-enterprise cooperation, combination of work and study, and integration of knowledge and practice" put forward by the Ministry of Education of China for technical vocational education.

    Abstract:
    The current background of internationalization and informationization has put forward new requirements for the teaching of English for urban and rural planning, and the reform of this course is imperative. This article takes the academic English course teaching of urban and rural planning major in Chongqing University as an example. By sorting out its current teaching lack of systematic design, failure to effectively promote the learning of professional knowledge, and duplication with basic English courses, it is proposed that this course should focus on professional knowledge rather than English. The teaching goal of this course should be cultivating students' English thinking. Under the guidance of this principle and goal, this article proposes to improve the curriculum system design from the teaching level, introduce new knowledge, cultivate English thinking, strengthen the transfer of professional knowledge, and actively deal with the relationship with basic English courses. At the same time, it can expand the existing teaching methods, promote communication and summaries, and use emerging network teaching platforms to realize teaching reforms to meet the current requirements for academic English courses of urban and rural planning and effectively play the role of this course in assisting and supporting other related courses.

    With the deepening of educational reform and innovation, in order to promote the deep integration of modern educational technology and teaching, and improve the teaching quality of higher engineering education, according to the new situation of bridge engineering teaching, the application of PBL teaching method based on OBE concept in bridge engineering is introduced. As a basic theoretical course for civil engineering, bridge engineering has the characteristics such as wide knowledge, strong practicality and great difficulty, etc. Based on the teaching experience and students' feedback, the reform and practice of teaching content of bridge engineering, decomposition of pedagogy, and implementation and application of teaching method are carried out.     In response to the Ministry of Education's call to further promote the deep integration of information technology and experimental teaching of higher education, to continuously strengthen the development and application of high-quality resources for experimental teaching in higher education, and to substantially improve the quality of experimental teaching and practice of talent education in higher education, the College of Civil Engineering of Tongji University, supported by the platform of the Civil Engineering Experimental Teaching Center of the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center, has developed a virtual experimental teaching platform for the mechanical behavior of reinforced concrete members. The platform focuses on the entire testing process of concrete members, including experimental design, specimen preparation, loading, measuring and data analysis, combined with the course "basic principles of concrete structures" as to achieve a mutual supplement between virtual and physical testing. It is expected that the physical experiments can be then complemented, expanded and improved.     Abstract:
    Taking the virtual simulation experiment of ventilation system balance adjusting as an example, the application of virtual simulation experiment to undergraduate experimental teaching in building environment and energy application engineering is explored. The implementation results show that although virtual simulation experiment can make up for the deficiencies in conventional experimental equipment, such as insufficient experiment instruments, experiment venues, teaching expenses, etc., and can enrich the experimental resources, it is low-cost, high efficiency, and strong scalability. There are still certain problems of this kind of experiment. Practical teaching and traditional experiment for undergraduates should be considered for virtual simulation experimental platform developing, experiment content setting, process implementation and grade evaluation. Virtual experiments and conventional experiments should complement each other, so as to achieve the purpose of improving the experimental teaching level and teaching effect.

    Abstract:
    The paper is to understand the present situation of smart science popularization of urban community residents under the background of smart community construction and community science popularization informationization, master the expectations of urban community residents in terms of popular science channels, contents and forms, and then explore the effective ways and methods to realize urban community smart science popularization and accurate science popularization. Through statistics on 849 questionnaires nationwide, the results show that:the residents' demand for popular science is concentrated on the level of survival and life, the residents use smart platforms frequently, the residents obtain limited knowledge of popular science from the community, the satisfaction of community science popularization needs to be improved. Therefore, guided by the needs of residents, it is necessary to provide intelligent and accurate services, innovate the forms and channels of community science popularization, perfect the two-way interaction mechanism between community and residents, and integrate the popular science resources of social organizations and units under the jurisdiction.

    Abstract:
    As the major places for science education, science and technology museums are carrying out science education activities to realize their educational function. This paper starts from the necessity and significance of science and technology museums to carry out science education activities, and analyzes the basic characteristics of education activities of science and technology museums. Combined with the current situation of education activities of science and technology museums, this paper analyzes the utilization and existing problems of science and technology museums, and analyzes the general situation and connotation of education activities of science and technology museums. From the aspects of subject, acceptor, educational concept, service and operation of science education activities of science and technology museums, this paper gives suggestions on conducting education activities with characteristics of science and technology museums and promoting the education function of science and technology museums, to make science and technology museums a place of lifelong education accepted by the public.
