    Abstract:
    Practice education is an important part of the work of teaching and education in colleges and universities in the new era, is an important link in the high-quality education system, and is an effective measure to carry out the fundamental task of setting up morality and cultivating people. This paper analyzes the connotation of the new era of practice education in colleges and universities, expounds the core status and value of practice education in the talents training, and clarifies the need to inherit the philosophical wisdom of practice education in colleges and universities in the new era. At present, there are some realistic circumstances in the process of practice education, such as unclear target orientation, insufficient attention, imperfect mechanism and system, single content and form, etc. Therefore, colleges and universities need to constantly innovate talent training mode, strictly follow the educational law of talent training, rely on practice to carry out ideological and political education, and fully develop quality education, to enhance students’ comprehensive ability effectively. In the light of the above problems, this paper puts forward the important proposition that colleges and universities should focus on cultivating contemporary talents who are responsible for the great task of national rejuvenation, take the educational policy of Party as the leadership, and scientifically do the top-level design of practice and education, to construct a multi-dimensional coordinated education mechanism, to establish and improve the quality assurance system and long-term mechanism of practice education, and to promote the high-quality and good-frequency resonance between practice education and the connotation development of colleges and universities, according to the law of students’ growth, we should construct the scientific matrix of practice education in content and form, establish a high-quality and characteristic practice education system, and provide students with abundant practice projects, to train contemporary talents with the all-round development of moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic labor, who can be a major task of national rejuvenation.

    Abstract:
    The scientific construction of a non-technical skills training system for engineering students can not only effectively improve the quality of engineering education talents, but also relate to the future development level and direction of engineering in China. Based on the perspective of engineering philosophy, taking civil engineering as an example, this paper deeply analyzed the problems existing in the cultivation of non-technical ability of undergraduate students in colleges and universities, and then constructs the cultivation system of non-technical ability of civil engineering professionals from the four dimensions of cultivation objectives, curriculum system, teaching mode and teaching resource guarantee. The practice content and experience of the non-technical ability system of civil engineering professionals in Chongqing University is systematically introduced, to provide direction and guidance for promoting the deepening reform of engineering education.

    Abstract:
    In view of the shortcomings of the traditional assessment methods, based on the reflection of the teaching practice of the course of urban and rural ecology and environmental planning, we establish the goal-oriented integration of the course with the main design courses, deeply analyze the teaching characteristics of the course in urban and rural planning specialty, and at the same time, combine the shortcomings of the assessment and evaluation of students in the course to propose the construction of a comprehensive assessment system with the teaching characteristics of the course itself. The course is adjusted to the traditional design course assessment method, and the assessment is used as a way to explore a new teaching mode to achieve multiple competency training. First of all, the course has been clarified from the philosophical level and the systematic nature of urban and rural planning level to distinguish the teaching focus from the design courses, establish the teaching goal of cultivating ecological values in urban and rural planning practice, emphasize the teaching process of multi-stage rational thinking, and reflect the “boundedness” of spatial design. Secondly, it follows the teaching characteristics of the course and constructs a comprehensive assessment system in the direction of explicit assessment process and scientific evaluation results. The above research contents follow the logical line of course ontology characteristics -assessment system construction -assessment system implementation, and the research results are of great significance both for optimizing the assessment and evaluation system of the course of urban and rural ecology and environmental planning and promoting the healthy development of the course teaching space system. It is expected that the research content of this paper can provide useful reference for the teaching and assessment of similar theoretical courses in urban and rural planning.

    Abstract:
    In recent years, massive open online courses (MOOC) have been rapidly popularized in China, which are both an opportunity and a challenge for the teaching reform of higher education in China. In order to respond to the call of Golden Course of the Ministry of Education and reform the top-level design and teaching quality evaluation system of civil engineering online open courses under the background of emerging engineering education, based on AHP group decision method, taking the expert questionnaire results as the data source, this paper selects Excel software for auxiliary calculation, and constructs a system, which includes four primary indicators including course foundation, course setting, course implementation and course effect, twelve secondary indicators and thirty five tertiary indicators. The results show that the system has strict logic and strong feasibility. It can effectively evaluate the teaching quality of civil engineering online open courses and help the reform of online and offline mixed teaching mode in colleges and universities.

    Abstract:
    Based on the new requirements of three-wide education in the new era, it is worth exploring how urban and rural planning specialty construct a new operational education mode according to its own characteristics. Urban and rural planning specialty should not only reflect the general rules of education in colleges and universities, but also carry out targeted mode innovation and education practice based on the characteristics of the major itself. Started from the essence of three-wide education, and combined with the general rules of higher education, this study analyzed and constructed a three-level “Pyramid” system of education in colleges and universities, which includes holistic education, ideological and political education, and scientific research education. Further compared the characteristics and needs of urban and rural planning specialty, a new education mode for urban and rural planning specialty based on the three-level “Pyramid” system was proposed, which includes: “Sanguan Education” (view of world, view of life and values) based on the concept of holistic education, the “Sanqing Education” (global conditions, national conditions, and party conditions) based on ideological and political education, and “Sanzuo Education” (conduct oneself, do things, and academic work) based on scientific research education. Based on the teaching and talent training practice of urban and rural planning specialty of Southeast University, this study has carried out a specific analysis and demonstration on the specific practices of “3-3-3” education mode and the actual effect of talent training.

    Abstract:
    Civil engineering specialty is a typical traditional engineering specialty, faces numerous problems under the background of emerging engineering education. These problems include backward education concepts, low classroom teaching effect, single innovative training methods, and unsound collaborative education mechanism of curriculum ideological and political education. The civil engineering specialty in Jilin University systematically designs “five-in-one” talent training mode integrating ideological and political education, courses, practices, competition, and scientific research under the guidance of triune education philosophy covering value shaping, ability training, and knowledge teaching, with the goal of cultivating creative talents in civil engineering meeting the demand for technological development and industrial revolution. A curriculum system is built based on the principles of laying a solid foundation, strengthening practices, and encouraging innovation and the content of the curriculum is set under the guidance of highlighting foundation, integrating with frontier fields, and focusing on engineering. Moreover, the specialty explores the teaching methods in a student-oriented way and promotes the cultivation of creative talents with both political integrity and professional competence through class teaching reform in multiple factors, multi-mode collaborative cultivation of innovative ability, and multi-course education.

    Abstract:
    The emerging engineering education construction emphasizes the cultivation of students’ innovation ability. The course of civil engineering has strong theoretical and practical nature. This paper carries out the cultivation practice of students’ innovation ability under the concept of emerging engineering education combining with the long-span structure course. In the course teaching, we should emphasize the explanation and analysis of practical engineering cases, enhance students’ interest in learning engineering structure, and improve students’ ability to solve complex engineering problems; we should use online teaching resources to carry out research, optimize the course content, evaluate and guide students’ mastery of course knowledge points, and combine online teaching resources further broaden the knowledge of students; and project-based learning and science and education integration teaching are carried out, and project-based learning is used to provide students with structural design ability; science and education integration teaching is used to guide students to find, analyze and solve problems independently, and cultivate students’ innovation ability and scientific research ability. Through the reform of the above teaching methods, we can improve the teaching effect of the long-span structure course and promote the cultivation of students’ innovation ability.

    Abstract:
    As a new practical lesson laying stress on professional practice ability, the course of creation and realization of structural models mainly adopts a variety of teaching modes, e.g., lecture, discussion, experiment and computer application. The traditional assessment method is heavily weighted in favor of the investigation of theoretical knowledge, which is difficult to reflect the students’ mastery of the curriculum, especially the cultivation of practical ability. Nevertheless, the non-standard answer assessment method can break away from the traditional fixed thinking. It plays a significant role in arousing the students’ subjective initiative, which is helpful to cultivate students’ comprehensive ability to solve complex engineering issues. Therefore, the non-standard answer assessment method is used to comprehensively evaluate the learning quality of students, and train students’ practical operation ability and innovative thinking. Firstly, the learning objectives of this course and the support for graduation requirements are systematically introduced, and the feasibility of non-standard answer assessment method in this course is demonstrated. Secondly, the main factors that affect the course assessment are discussed and analyzed, and we formulate idiographic implementation plans and safeguard measures. Finally, a questionnaire was designed to evaluate the effect of the implementation of the scheme, and hundreds of students selected courses in recent years were investigated and counted. The evaluation results of curriculum provision, curriculum management, curriculum resources and teachers’ teaching ability were systematically analyzed. The results show that the non-standard answer assessment method can improve students’ enthusiasm for learning, scientifically and comprehensively evaluate students’ mastery of theoretical knowledge and practical ability, and cultivate students’ teamwork and innovation ability. This paper can provide an important reference for the construction and evaluation of other practical courses.

    Abstract:
    In today’s world where international academic communication and cooperation become frequent, publishing original research has become an embodiment of a university’s capacity, or even a nation’s capacity for scientific research and an embodiment of a country’s international influence. It is also an important parameter for assessing the academic performance of postgraduates. Enhancing students’ academic writing ability in English is essential not only in promoting international academic communication, but also in increasing the chance of making Chinese scholars heard in the international academic arena. English academic writing courses for postgraduates should be based on students’ needs, combining language study with students’ needs for academic research in their subject areas, thus enhancing their motivation and interest. Through pedagogical examples of teaching academic writing to postgraduate students majoring in architecture science, this paper discusses task design principles of English academic writing projects from the aspects of “purposefulness”, “specialism”, “critical thinking”, and “collaboration”. Among the four principles, “purposefulness” focuses on the three principal elements of academic writing ability, namely academic language, academic skills, and academic conventions. “Specialism” refers to the combination of the common core knowledge in language and the special linguistic characteristics of subject-specific discourse. This means teachers should deliberately guide and encourage students to integrate subject-specific knowledge into language learning consciously, transferring the common knowledge taught by teachers to the process of reading and writing subject-specific academic papers. “Critical thinking” concerns the ability to think critically in the process of English academic writing, such as the ability to analyze, infer, appraise, explain and interpret. “Collaboration” emphasizes learners’ ability to create a harmonious learning atmosphere through negotiation, communication and cooperation, so as to overcome the fear of difficulties and enhance self-confidence in order to improve the quality of language output. The principles mentioned above can not only have referential value for project-based English academic writing courses for postgraduates, thus enhancing students’ academic writing ability and realizing the goal of putting what they have learned into practice in the real world, but also bring some enlightenment of the undergraduate pre-course development of English academic writing.

    Abstract:
    Under the background of the construction of emerging engineering education and double first-class universities, the international English courses construction is an inevitable demand for universities to speed up the way of internationalization, and is also a key challenge for teaching reform for postgraduate courses. While how to explore a suitable way for teaching mode, teaching methods and teaching team, etc., to meet the top talent training objective for China’s postgraduates is still an urgent problem. Taking a typical international course of environmental quality and wellbeing in Chongqing University as an example, this study addressed the integrated construction of “education” and “research” of the course, and elaborated in details the characteristics and experience of course contents, teaching method, evaluation method and teaching team construction. The course pays attention to the overall design and constructs a multi-level curriculum content system from foundation to promotion and expansion; meantime it links the teaching to research and practice and introduces the latest professional journal papers or reports as teaching materials to expand the teaching breadth and depth. The course addresses the interaction between “teaching” and “learning” with systematic thinking and problem-based learning, and sets up multiple modes, including communication and interaction, discussion, case study, special report, paper review and so on, to reform the traditional teaching method. The course adopts the interdisciplinary research and hotspots as discussion topics, which cultivates the postgraduates’ abilities of critical thinking, scientific research and innovation. The course assessments include discussion, presentation and writing, ect., in order to improve the abilities of professional knowledge and academic communication for students. In order to expand the internationalization of curriculum, constructs a high-quality teaching team and introduces a number of teachers and experts with outstanding academic achievements from multidiscipline to build an international joint teaching team. Through the interdisciplinary teaching, promotes the interdisciplinary integration and broadens the students’ knowledge in the field of built environment, which overcomes the narrow vision of traditional curriculum teaching, the limitation of culturing versatile talents, cross-cultural communication, adaptability and development ability, the lack of high-quality education resources and international teaching teams, etc. It provides a reference for the construction of all English course for the built environment major in domestic colleges and universities.     Abstract:
    Since the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, our country pays more and more attention to the strategy of building a strong traffic country, and the pace of innovation and development has accelerated. From the completion of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge to the commencement of the whole line of Sichuan-Tibet Railway, the construction of bridges in China is facing various and unprecedented great challenges. From the completion of Yangsigang Yangtze River Bridge with a main span of 1 700 m to the commencement of Zhangjinggao Yangtze River Bridge with a main span of 2 300 m, the scale of long-span bridges in China is constantly breaking new records. In order to suit the requirement of important engineering, a composite training mode based on postgraduates is established to improve their abilities of the innovation and practical application, analyzing and solving problems, enhancing the quality and the efficiency simultaneously. Important parts are determined by the team leader, and specific research work is guided by the young teachers, fulfilling the directive role of the tutor team. Furthermore, the training mode based on “surface to line to point” focusing on the research method, comprehensive ability, and application innovation, is established, and the training program is specified gradually and adjusted dynamically. The practice shows that the composite training mode based on postgraduates improve their senses of participation and gain. Combined with the dynamic training mode based on “surface to line to point”, it is favorable to formulate research programs for different postgraduates, which can better inspire their subjective initiative and increase the achievements with higher quality. The postgraduate should first complete the task-type scientific research work, and then complete the dissertation autonomously. With the process, the personal comprehensive ability can be effectively improved, which is more suitable for the requirement of innovation in important engineering.

    Abstract:
    Taking cultivate virtues and morality as the core task, combined with the running process of civil engineering major of Central South University and the characteristics of transportation civil engineering, the ideological and political education spirit of civil engineering specialty is refined, and the construction of the ideological and political education system with civil engineering specialty characteristics is promoted from three perspectives: professional ideological and political education, platform ideological and political education and cultural ideological and political education. Professional ideological and political education is to expand the connotation of cultivate virtues and morality and reconstruct the professional teaching system through the content of curriculum ideological and political education, innovative teaching methods, the integration of university-enterprise science and education and professional collaboration. It focuses on building the library of ideological and political elements of civil engineering courses from eight aspects: strategic engineering, super engineering, artisans from big countries, industry elites, industry development, outstanding alumni, engineering cases and discipline frontiers, so as to promote the systematic and standardized construction of ideological and political elements of civil engineering courses. Platform ideological and political education consists of six educational platforms, namely, ideological and political education center, teaching classroom, scientific research platform, practice base, network space and student organization, to create a base of cultivate virtues and morality with the integration of virtual and reality, and to make the professional ideological and political teaching entity practical and strong. Cultural ideology and politics is based on the columns of Teacher Talk, Confucius Said, Famous Teacher Lecture Hall and Alumni Interview to construct the college culture in six dimensions: fine traditions, teachers’ fashion, alumni footprints, famous talents style, students’ fashion and campus activities, so as to create a cultural environment of cultivate virtues and morality. Since the full implementation of ideological and political education system in civil engineering specialty, Party Committee plays the main role in ideological and political education reform, creates new swimmer and contribution for the Party mass work, obviously improves the teachers’ initiative to carry out the curriculum reform, curriculum construction, teaching platform construction, and ideological and political education is fruitful.

    Under the background of the construction of emerging engineering education, how to highlighting the educating orientation of higher education, merging the implicit ideological and political education with the professional course teaching of engineering students organically, and realizing the integration and resonance of theoretical knowledge education and social values education, are the main issues facing in the course teaching reform of higher education in recent years. In this paper, the course of basic principle of steel structure of civil engineering major as an example. The ideological and political elements, such as red gene, patriotic gene, craftsman spirit and engineering ethics, are integrated into teaching content, method, design and evaluation links through the way of gene implantation in moisten things silently. The whole process, multi-angle and multi-dimensional guidance is carried out and promotes the deep integration of ideological and political education with curriculum teaching objectives, elements and process.     Surveying engineering is one of the professional basic courses for civil engineering specialty, including classroom teaching and experiment or practice. With the rapid developments of surveying and mapping science and technology, the applications of modern surveying and mapping technology, such as UAV photogrammetric, 3D laser scanning and GNSS technology, grow fast in civil engineering. At the same time, it is also a basic requirement to integrate ideological and political elements into course teaching and practice. In view of the training objectives of civil engineering students in “double first-class” universities, combined with the development trend of surveying and mapping science and technology and its status in civil engineering, and taking a new round of training plan and curriculum reform as an opportunity, the ideological and political elements in the course of engineering surveying are excavated from multiple dimensions such as surveying and mapping figures, surveying and mapping cases, surveying and mapping history, surveying and mapping science and technology, and surveying and mapping applications. Starting from the goal of promoting the value, knowledge, ability, quality and personality of students, we designed corresponding ideological and political education knowledge points in the teaching links of surveying and mapping theory, traditional surveying and mapping methods, modern surveying and mapping technology, and civil engineering applications.     The curriculum ideological and political education takes cultivate virtues and morality as the fundamental task of education. Civil engineering generality is an introductory course about the development history of civil engineering, various civil engineering objects, basic activities, the civil engineering profession, and other knowledge. It is an essential course to establish the basic concept, and knowledge system of civil engineering, and an important introductory course for related majors. The content and orientation of the course determine that the core socialist values, family and country feelings, international vision, innovative thinking, professional ethics, academic cultivation, building a strong country, craftsmanship, and other relevant moral education elements are particularly suitable for this course. Firstly, the paper discusses the goal of ideological and political education, including making students understand their major and stimulating their emotions; establishing engineering thinking and cultivating innovative consciousness; clarifying professional responsibility and know dedication; cultivating the sense of mutual cooperation and building team spirit. Then, based on the ideological and political objectives, the paper analyzes the mapping points of ideological and political education for specific content. Finally, it discusses the implementation of curriculum ideological and political education in detail, including focusing on the poetic and picturesque of multimedia materials such as pictures and animation; carrying out the ideological and political education in the indirect practice of classic and hot project cases and in the infiltration of traditional culture humanistic feelings;carrying out ideological and political education in the curriculum and vigorously improve teachers' quality in the civil engineering of advancing with the times.     The cultivation of students’ comprehensive quality is an important goal of educational reform. The classroom teaching in engineering universities should not only improve students’ theoretical knowledge level and cultivate their professional skills, but also appropriately infiltrate values, professional ethics, and professional legal concepts into every link of teaching. Taking the soil mechanics course as an example, in combination with local engineering projects, students are encouraged to find theoretical support in engineering phenomena by selecting cases around them, and apply the theoretical knowledge of soil mechanics to the process of solving practical engineering problems, so as to deeply understand the theoretical basis of assumptions made in relevant calculation methods and understand the essential relationship between engineering problems and scientific problems.     Plants are an important element of landscape architecture. The ability of plant landscape planning and design is the core ability for landscape architecture major. As an important starting point to cultivate this comprehensive ability, it is very important to improve the teaching and learning quality of planting design course. Based on the spatial color organization method proposed in the previous stage, this paper optimized a set of complete plant landscape planning and design procedures, including prophase analysis, planting scheme planning, planting layout planning, spatial color organization method application and planting design, and illustrated the procedures step-by-step through the planting redesign of Guangzhou children’s park as a case. We focus on the selection of the key and non-key design areas and plant landscape points, lines and planes in the planting layout planning diagram, and the planting design process of plant landscape points, lines and planes based on the spatial color organization method, so that students can fully understand the whole process including planting layout, spatial organization and sight analysis, plant organization and species selection in red, yellow and blue layers, and planting design. The optimized planning and design procedure enabled students to effectively understand and master the complete logic system and operation steps of plant landscape planning and design, thus building a bridge between theoretical cognition and practical application, and effectively improving the teaching quality of the planting design course. We believe that this set of optimization procedure for plant landscape planning and design based on the spatial color organization method of plants has strong advantages not only in students’ understanding, mastery and application, but also in teachers’ teaching, demonstration and evaluation, which is worthy of promotion and application in the planting design teaching of landscape architecture at home and abroad.

    As an inevitable trend of educational development, the cultivation of creative thinking plays a significant role in the cultivation of creative talents in the future. The construction of a teaching system with creative connotations can enhance the creative thinking of students so that they can reach the standard of creative thinking talents. Taking the course of architectural design basis of architecture specialty in Guizhou Minzu University as a reference, the contents, objectives and evaluations of teaching were analyzed from the perspective of students. The mode and structure of engineering teaching were explored. The relationship between the cultivation of creative thinking and creative ability was discussed. The applicable approaches to the cultivation of creative thinking for engineering majors were determined. Furthermore, focusing on the different cognitive levels of students, learning strategies and teaching mode were discussed. The content formulation, teaching logic, quality control, learning driving force and environment construction in the creative thinking system were reviewed. Firstly, it was concluded that rational summary and presentation of knowledge can lay a solid foundation for the cultivation of creative thinking. The theory, practice and expansion characteristics of the course of architectural design basis were conducive to the diversification of knowledge. Secondly, based on the understanding of various engineering colleges on creative thinking, the methods and tools of thinking inspiration, the scope definition of modes and the effect of teaching strategies, the structure of the creative thinking system under the ATN·CDIO engineering teaching mode was proposed, and the corresponding teaching links were designed. Finally, the three-year practical application process was analyzed. The improvement effects of teaching modes and learning thinking were summarized. The teaching achievements were analyzed and summarized.     The collaborative education of science and education is an important concept of talent training in universities, and it is also a hot issue for university administrators and higher education researchers. It is of great significance to integrate scientific research results into classroom and realize the integration of science and education to cultivate talents. However, there are still some problems such as the way of scientific research achievements and organic integration into teaching. Therefore, this paper takes the civil engineering materials course as an example, which is an important compulsory course for civil engineering majors, to explore and practice the implementation path of the concept of science and education collaboration. On the basis of analyzing the teaching difficulties of this course, such as the content of the textbook lagging behind the practice, the disconnection between theoretical teaching and practical application, and the lack of students’ interest in learning, the trinity of teaching objectives of theoretical knowledge, innovation ability and scientific research accomplishment is put forward. This paper explores the connection point between theoretical teaching and experimental teaching resources, the breakthrough point between research results and professional knowledge, and expounds the implementation path of the concept of collaborative education through science and education combined with typical teaching cases. The practice results show that the students’ participation in the classroom is higher, their learning initiative is stronger, and their professional knowledge, innovation ability and scientific research literacy have been greatly improved. The research work can provide some reference for the teaching of materials courses of civil engineering specialty.

    With the development of emerging engineering education construction, landscape architecture educators have widely concerned cultivating the comprehensive thinking modes of engineering talents. They have also focused on the key problem of exploring the teaching method that deeply integrates the professional learning and critical thinking. This paper takes the teaching of western garden history as the medium, breaks through the traditional passive teaching mode of mainly relying on teaching materials, and applies visual teaching methods, in order to guide students to complete the problem-oriented curriculum tasks, and execute mental exercises and critical thinking. Firstly, the paper discussed the connotation of mental exercises and under its influence, the teaching reform goals of western garden history. Secondly, it organized the multiple perspectives on western garden history learning. Then, it illustrated the role of “vision” as the starting point in the staged task framework. Finally, it employed the Italian terrace garden Villa Lante as a case, to explain the specific application and presentation of the visual oriented teaching task in the stages of problem discovery, background research, detailed demonstration and comprehensive conclusion. This paper has comprehensively evaluated and analyzed the methods and characteristics of learning the western garden history under the guidance of vision and problem.

    In view of the existing shortcomings that architecture students emphasize art rather than technology lacking deep structural concept, this paper reforms and integrates the basic structural theory and typical engineering cases in architecture majors teaching by taking into account the teaching practice and research foundation of Chongqing University under the background of emerging engineering education. The necessity and importance of the course of building structure and selection for architecture students was analyzed, and the teaching reform research of strengthening the basic structural theory and typical case study through the innovation of teaching methods and expansion of teaching mode was proposed. The research systematically integrates the basic structural theory and building structure practice into the architectural curriculum system to establish a link between them and makes an innovative demonstration and discussion of teaching methods in combination with teaching practice activities. It provides a basis for training innovative talent with theoretical literacy and cutting-edge technology. The results show that the research provides a teaching resource platform based on theoretical concepts of building structures and structural analysis ability, adheres to the teaching exploration foundation of emerging engineering education combining theory and practice, strengthens the correlation between typical engineering applications and basic structural theories, and enhances the interest and comprehensibility of teaching contents. It can cultivate students’ ability to understand, analyze and solve problems in structural concepts and structural selection, enhance the ability to evaluate engineering, which is of great significance to the cultivation of innovative talents in architecture of emerging engineering education.

    Abstract:
    The public architecture design course of architecture major in Hefei University of Technology carried out the short period teaching reform under the guidance of constructivism, which changed the traditional teaching idea and improved the teaching effect. By reviewing the new needs of the society and the new characteristics of students, this paper analyzes the current situation of shortening the class hours of public architectural design course and the origin of the short cycle teaching reform of public architectural design course, puts forward the teaching objectives of cultivating logical ability, innovation ability, comprehensive ability and self-learning ability, and explores the constructivism teaching mode and teaching organization matching with architectural design course. This paper introduces the short cycle teaching practice of public architecture design course for sophomores majoring of architecture specialty of Hefei University of Technology in 2020 from five aspects: task interpretation, teaching methods, topic research, concept generation and design improvement. It also reflects on the short cycle teaching under constructivism, and finds that it is still necessary to further strengthen the awareness of participation, self-determination, demand different consciousness and subject consciousness.

    It is one of the important missions of higher education to cultivate students professional quality and enhance their comprehensive ability. Taking architectural design basics, a core basic course of architecture specialty, as the research object, this paper reflects and updates the teaching mode and evaluation mode from the perspective of professional quality. It points out three main problems: the traditional curriculum content lags behind the development of the construction industry, the traditional evaluation mode can not meet the current needs, and the traditional learning atmosphere is difficult to achieve all-round development of students. In view of these curriculum-related problems, it sets three teaching reform objectives and analyzes their reform motivation, summarizes the teaching reform elements including quality and ability, clarifies four teaching reform mechanisms of integration,practice,innovation and dynamic, and explores two reform paths oriented to quality cultivation and ability training respectively. In addition, it further puts forward the reform evaluation strategy and desired effect integrating systematicness, fairness and rationality, in hopes of providing reference ideas for the construction and development of professional basic courses in architectural colleges.

    Abstract:
    Educational informatization 2.0 emphasizes the deep integration of education and information technology. To improve the quality of talent training, the innovative teaching and learning needs to be highlighted. Based on the new educational ecology of "Internet + education", this paper presents the basic concepts, advantages and characteristics of SPOC and blended teaching. The theoretical basis of the mixed teaching mode is discussed. A blended teaching mode based on SPOC is developed, including three parts, namely, teaching preparation, teaching process design and assessment design. The results show that the mixed teaching mode on the basis of SPOC strengthens the dominant position of students’ learning, which also improves learning depth, and achieves the training objectives such as practical application,decision-making analysis,critical thinking. At the same time, through teaching reflection, we deeply realize that the mixed teaching mode puts forward more challenged requirements for the educators’ teaching and learning ability.The participation of universities, research institutes and teachers and students can promote the practice of SPOC teaching reform.

    Under the background of 5G, the in-depth integration of information technology and higher education has become a new research trend, aiming at creating an information and intelligent classroom through the application of a new generation of information technology, and strengthening the cultivation of college students. Aiming at the problems existing in the teaching mode of application-oriented undergraduate colleges at present, adhering to the principle of student-centeredness, with the help of modern information means, the classroom and wisdom tools are organically combined, and a intelligent classroom teaching mode based on information technology is constructed by designing from teaching objectives, teaching modes, teaching activities and teaching evaluation. This intelligent teaching mode is applied in the course of engineering geology, and it is implemented in the Chaoxing learning platform. The teaching links are set along the thread of before class-during class-after class. Various preview materials are sent before class, all-round interaction is carried out in class, and personalized counseling is carried out after class. Finally, the online evaluation and offline evaluation are adopted to evaluate the teaching. The online part is mainly graded by platform teaching data and remote experts, and offline part is mainly graded by students’ participation and performance, pays attention to the process of assessment. Through the analysis of the teaching effect of this course, it is found that students’ academic performance, classroom participation and experience have been improved, which verifies the effectiveness of this intelligent classroom teaching mode and largely meets students’ learning needs. This mode highlights students’ dominant position in teaching, which is helpful for application-oriented undergraduate colleges to cultivate intelligent students, and provides a reference for the establishment of intelligent classroom teaching mode for courses related to civil engineering.

    Abstract:
    One of the key goals in creating a new field of landscape architecture is the construction and upgrading of a new system of engineering education with Chinese characteristics. The landscape architecture practice course is a significant required course that is distinguished by its teaching’s realistic environment and temporal and spatial variability. This study elaborates on the use of mobile information technologies, such as Two-step, an outdoor sports app, Cat’s Eye Quadrant, a survey recording app, and Flower Companion, a plant recognition app, to the teaching of landscape inspection based on the status quo and advances the concept of contextual mobile teaching. The contextual teaching mode, which has three stages, three guarantees, and three goals, aims to accomplish the fundamental educational goal of gaining knowledge in action through outside-of-classroom learning while immersing in the real environment. The results of this study may serve as a guide for the creation of outdoor practice courses in other disciplines as well as serve as inspiration for administrators and practitioners of landscape architecture education who want to support the successful implementation of mobile learning.
