Abstract:The construction of virtual teaching and research section is an important measure to comprehensively improve teachers’ teaching and educating ability in the information age, which is conducive to cracking the bottleneck of the development of grass-roots teaching organization, breaking the time and space constraints, providing a platform for teachers to carry out intercollegiate teaching and researching activities with high frequency, high quality and high standard, and promoting teachers’ professional development. Taking the virtual teaching and research section of civil engineering curriculum group, one of the first group of virtual teaching and research sections approved by the Ministry of Education, as a construction pilot, the paper investigates the development demands of universities and analyzes the urgent needs of the construction of teaching and researching sections. Be directed against the development requirements of major, the thesis anatomizes the way of the section to infiltrate the industry demand of civil engineering with the teaching reform of colleges, and explains how to construct the target and evaluation system of ideological and political education in curriculum to form the resultant force from the dimension of curriculum ideological and political system construction. At the level of curriculum construction, the teaching research and reform of the "whole industry chain" of the curriculum group is deepened, the civil engineering group with industry characteristics in a great nation is built, the curriculum plat throughout the whole process of civil engineering education is drawn, and the course knowledge map is structured. A teaching resource database platform is built to mutually create, construct and share the master teachers, teaching materials, courses and integration between industry and education of civil engineering across industry. Attention is paid to improvement of teaching skills, and a plan is designed to improve teachers’ teaching quality in all life cycle based on MOOC westbound plans, public demonstration classes, and researches on Metaverse. The results of a series of practical exploration studies show that the collaborative construction of the teacher development community is an important factor in the quality of talent training. The research provides a civil style for the building of virtual teaching and researching section with curriculum construction as the grasp.

Abstract:In the current reform of collaborative education between industry and education in colleges and universities, there are many problems, such as low enthusiasm of enterprises, insufficient import of external resources, and insufficient integration of industry and education. In order to adapt to the development and change of the industry and build a collaborative education mechanism under the integration of industry and education, the real estate development and management major of Chongqing University, based on the triple helix theory, takes the training of innovative and entrepreneurial talents as the goal, and systematically integrates the "three chains" of course chain, talent chain and industrial chain. In the construction process of the state-level "first-class major", it has gradually explored and practiced the school-enterprise cooperation excellent talent training mode of "whole-process, in-depth and win-win", established the "four channels" for enterprises to deeply participate in the whole-process talent training, and the participation path of "seven dimensions in one". Through the concrete ways of jointly building the teaching platform and introducing and sharing enterprise resources, it provides a reference and replicable example for the integration of industry and education and collaborative education of real estate development and management.

Abstract:The strategy of emerging engineering education has been put forward, aiming at promoting the cross-integration between disciplines, innovating educational concepts and models, cultivating diversified and innovative engineering talents for the country, and meeting the requirements of the industry for engineering talents. The civil engineering specialty needs to seek innovation and upgrade under the background of emerging engineering education. The construction of intelligent construction specialty impacts the traditional civil engineering specialty, but it also brings opportunities for the information construction of civil engineering specialty. Based on the requirements of national strategy and the existing teaching problems of civil engineering specialty, such as the lag of knowledge and the separation of undergraduate and postgraduate education, taking the requirements of talent ability training under the background of emerging engineering education as the starting point, relying on the advantages of civil engineering discipline construction of Beijing University of Technology, the information technology is integrated into the curriculum system, teaching material system and practical innovation training system of civil engineering, and the practical innovation of civil engineering teaching is carried out. According to the requirements of the transformation and upgrading of civil engineering specialty in the Department of Urban Construction of Beijing University of Technology, the teaching experience is summarized. To stimulate students’ interest in learning and broaden their horizons, a civil engineering teaching curriculum system integrating information technology is established. Integrating VR technology and independently compiling a series of multi-dimensional BIM technology textbooks, students’ ability to understand knowledge is enhanced. By making full use of the high-quality teaching resources of enterprises, a school-enterprise multi-party collaborative education platform under the background of emerging engineering education is built. The integration of education and research is emphasized, and the interactive mode of student competition–scientific and technological innovation–teachers’ scientific research is innovated. In the specific teaching practice, good results have been achieved, which provides a strong support for the cultivation of innovative engineering talents and lays a foundation for the transformation of traditional civil engineering disciplines.

Abstract:Mechanics is an important scientific foundation for engineering subjects, and the innovation experiment course of mechanics is an important carrier to deepen the understanding of mechanics theory and effectively connect engineering technology. The construction of emerging engineering urgently requires the reform of the innovation experiment teaching system for mechanics. Considering the current status and shortcomings of innovation experiment teaching of mechanics, looking into national strategic technology and industrial needs, highlighting industry characteristics, focusing on cross-disciplinary integration, a research-based experimental teaching system of "engineering technology frontier–innovation experiment project–innovative product" has been established, and the implementation scheme of the teaching system also has been proposed. This teaching system significantly improves the awareness and ability on "originality–innovation–entrepreneurship" of engineering students.

Abstract:From subject orientation to industry demand, from professional division to cross-border integration, and focusing on cultivating compound engineering talents is the basic connotation of emerging engineering education. As an important part of cultivating creative, innovative and entrepreneurial outstanding engineering talents in engineering majors, postgraduate practical teaching needs to be based on the background of emerging engineering education in colleges and universities, closely follow the basic theories and basic laws of postgraduate education, and explore and research innovative practical teaching models. In view of the lack of engineering, practicality, inquiry, and inspiration in practical teaching in colleges and universities, taking the construction of emerging engineering disciplines as the core orientation, the immersion experience of major and difficult engineering as the traction, highlighting interdisciplinary subjects, an innovative practical teaching platform for the training of civil engineering graduate students can be established. By explaining the basic concept of innovative practical teaching and discussing the mechanism of practical teaching in the cultivation of civil engineering postgraduate talents, the three basic cores of constructing innovative practical teaching platforms are clarified: highlighting innovation, and stimulating thinking leaps; immersing in major projects experience, and cultivating the literacy of engineers; emphasizing cutting-edge intersection, and cultivating the sense of smell of scientists. Highlighting the central subject position of students, respecting students’ personal interests and self-professional development orientation, and carrying out multi-interface modular practice teaching, four major reconstructions are realized: curriculum system reconstruction, teaching content reconstruction, teaching method reconstruction and evaluation system reconstruction. Since the implementation of innovative practice teaching reform, cutting-edge interdisciplinary research has started smoothly, and the quality of personnel training has improved significantly. The graduates trained have gone deep into the front lines of major military engineering research units, and are rapidly growing into leading various major national defense projects and performing major combat engineering support tasks. The backbone force has effectively promoted the transformation and upgrading of the civil engineering discipline of the college, and gradually formed a new paradigm of engineering education.

Abstract:Following the principle of "student-centered, future-oriented", this paper reviews the training process of civil engineering talents by taking the civil engineering talent training system of the School of Architecture and Civil Engineering of Chengdu University as an example. From the level of national strategy, the talent demand of civil engineering major is analyzed. This paper puts forward the "five integration" education mechanism for civil engineering talents cultivation, analyzes the connotation and function of the "five integration" education mechanism, through the construction of the "scientific research–teaching–learning" union, carries out the construction of the "government, production, learning, research, application and innovation" six integration collaborative education platform, and improves the integration system of "practice–training–competition". Bold attempts have been made in personnel training of civil engineering specialty and good results have been achieved. This talent training system brings together various innovations such as mechanism innovation, mode innovation and action innovation, and demonstrates the application achievements of civil engineering talent training, providing reference for the construction of provincial first-class civil engineering major.

Abstract:The construction of high-level undergraduate education in the new era puts forward new requirements for the training of engineering management talents. Starting with the reform of core courses, strengthening the construction of teaching resources is the basic key to improve the quality of talents training. Based on the needs of training modern engineering project management practical ability for engineering management professionals, starting from the complete case wheel teaching reform of engineering project management courses, under the dynamic control theory, it proposes a complete case wheel teaching operation mode of engineering project management course, which consists of five links: the engineering oriented practicality, the subjectivity of students’ learning, the leading role of teachers, the ability of independent learning, and the whole process participation. From the perspective of all-round teaching resource construction, strengthen the teaching team based on the reform needs of the engineering project management curriculum, and enrich the teaching resources of the engineering project management curriculum based on platform resource sharing to create an online and offline integrated teaching environment for engineering project management. Guided by strengthening students’ engineering practice ability, based on the main line of the engineering construction process, oriented to engineering practice, and around complete cases, it will build an experimental practice teaching system and an independent learning network sharing platform that integrates the design of core professional courses in a hierarchical and systematic manner under the CDIO concept. Abstract:In order to adapt to the current worldwide engineering education reform and engineering education accreditation needs, and to improve the education quality of ethnic students, the training mode of ethnic students of civil engineering is reformed and explored in this paper taking Mongolian students as an example. On the basis of meeting the requirements of the professional standards and engineering education accreditation, and proceeding from the actual situation of ethnic students, the training objectives and curriculum system that meet the characteristics of ethnic students are formulated, and the new concept of "practice innovation" is put forward. In the implementation of teaching, the idea of "embodying the training characteristics in the training process" is emphasized. Oriented to the training goal, reform measures are carried out in the whole process and every link of the training of ethnic students, integrating course content, strengthening ideological and political education, optimizing course arrangement, strengthening the teaching of practical courses, reforming the teaching methods and means, independently design project-based problem sets, and reforming the evaluation method. It has realized the characteristic training for ethnic students and improved the education quality of ethnic students.

Abstract:Local universities have become the main force in professional engineering master education, but the difference of education and teaching resources may lead to the uneven quality of talent cultivation. It is an effective way to enhance the competitiveness of graduates to meet the needs of social development, and it is an inevitable requirement for the connotative development of discipline in local universities to develop postgraduate education by exploiting strengths and avoiding weaknesses. Under the background of "new infrastructure" and "Internet+", the transformation of engineering forms and construction modes is increasingly extensive and profound, and the T-shaped knowledge and ability structure is the quality demand for high-level engineering talents in civil and hydraulic engineering construction. This paper analyzes the urgency of the development transformation of civil engineering graduate education and discusses the main limitation factors in the development of professional master education in local universities. The allocation of teaching resources is relatively insufficient, the basic literacy of students is relatively weak, the teaching team is lack of engineering experience, and the homogenization competition of graduate education is prominent, and so on. The homogenization competition is manifested as the homogenization of training mode and objectives of academic and professional master within the university, as well as the homogenization of discipline development direction between universities, and this leads to the mutual squeezing of postgraduate education resources and development space. Based on the construction practice of civil engineering and hydraulic engineering master program in University of South China for more than ten years, this paper discusses the ideas and effects of improving the innovation and practice ability of professional master students in local universities. Under the concept of cultivating talents by virtue, it is an effective way to solve the problem of homogenous competition and enhance the core competitiveness of local universities to innovate collaborative education mode, develop discipline characteristics, integrate education resources and build education community. The reform ideas and practice modes have good reference significance for local universities to develop professional master education in accordance with the needs of the times.

Abstract:Most colleges and universities in China actively promote the employment competitiveness of construction graduate students under the background of "double first-class" to adapt to the increasingly severe employment pressure, but the traditional training mode still has some problems, such as insufficient innovation ability and lack of practice. Systematically analyzing the existing training and management mode of architectural postgraduates in universities with a double first-class background, combined with the concept of multiple collaboration, this paper proposes to build a "five-in-one" architecture graduate student innovative training model combining the five units of "optimized teaching mode + vertical scientific research topics + discipline competition + horizontal practice projects + industry-university-research practical platform". The connection of school, college, research team and instructors should be strengthened to ensure the orderly progress of various teaching and scientific research tasks and the effectiveness of student management. In these ways, we can cultivate architectural postgraduates with strong innovation ability and a certain basis of design practice, so as to finally improve their comprehensive professional ability.

Abstract:Postgraduate education is the highest level of national education, which plays an important role in the economic development and social construction. It is an urgent requirement for postgraduate education in the new era to accelerate the high-quality development of postgraduate education. Taking the School of Mechanics and Civil Engineering of China University of Mining and Technology as an example, based on the enrollment and training results of master students during the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the authors first analyze the main problems that restrict the high-quality development of master’s education in this school: the proportion of high-quality graduate students is relatively low; the overall training quality of postgraduate students is not high; the education level of professional degree master students needs to be improved; the construction of tutor team for master students needs to be further strengthened; the quality assurance system of postgraduate education is not perfect. Then, from five aspects of mechanism innovation, process control, mode reform, team building and management optimization, the authors put forward countermeasures to accelerate the high-quality development of postgraduate education. The first is to innovate the working mechanism and improve the quality of graduate students, including innovate the methods of introducing high-quality students, and support the school to cultivate high-quality students in various forms at the undergraduate stage; give full play to the main publicity role of school leaders, department cadres, tutors, counselors and head teachers in postgraduate enrollment; optimize the mechanism of postgraduate enrollment and selection; attract students through postgraduate forums, summer schools, practice competitions and other forms. The second is to strengthen process control and improve the quality of postgraduate training, including establish a quality assurance and monitoring system based on the whole process and all-round data collection and analysis; pay attention to process control to ensure the quality of postgraduate training process. The third is to reform the training mode and improve the quality of graduate education, including strengthen the discipline orientation and establish a system of cultivating graduate students according to the category of first-class disciplines/professional degrees; improve the early warning mechanism for graduate degrees and the diversion policy; strengthen the construction of postgraduate curriculum system and improve the quality of postgraduate teaching. The fourth is to strengthen the team building and improve the quality of postgraduate tutors, including establish an annual review and dynamic adjustment system for the recruitment qualification of tutors to break the lifelong system; strengthen post training and establish a normalized system of tutor training; standardize the number of tutors enrolled and optimize the allocation of postgraduate enrollment indicators. Abstract:This paper reviews the teaching practice and textbook writing of the high-rise building structure course in Tsinghua University in the past 40 years. It mainly presents the effort in the course development and textbook writing in the past 20 years to reflect the talent cultivation featured with "deep foundation, practice training and innovation capability" and "three-pronged approach" of education that integrates the shaping of values, the cultivating of skills and the imparting of knowledge. The following aspects are included: (1) to reorganize the structure of the textbook to make it more consistent with the logic of structural design; (2) to highlight the basic concepts and design theories, and focus on teaching "living" and "transferable" knowledge; (3) to extend the class through the program-based calculation and design-type homework, thus effectively forming "dual wheel drive" in class and out of class; (4) to adopt the problem-oriented teaching in the introduction of the structural system innovation, for inspiring students’ innovative thinking.

Abstract:The sustainability of the construction of super-large international sports events is a worldwide problem. In order to seize the opportunity of the planning and construction of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games, the School of Architecture of Tsinghua University responds to the United Nations sustainable development goals and China’s dual carbon goals, and deeply integrates the construction of serving Winter Olympics with education and teaching. The Winter Olympics topics that the college is responsible for run through the teaching system of "full chain coverage" such as design teaching, thesis training, social practice, and scientific research. Combined with the practice of the Winter Olympics, a "big building" teaching framework with "full-scale space intervention" as the core, interdisciplinary, science and art integration has been formed; combined with the practice of training talents for the Winter Olympics, teaching students in accordance with their aptitude has improved the teaching framework based on students’ academic interests. The multi-dimensional teaching process is oriented and based on the academic focus of the subject; combined with the opportunities of large-scale international events, it promotes an international teaching method based on multicultural backgrounds, thinking integration and innovative experiments. In recent years, the college has achieved many important practical achievements in cultivating architectural design innovation talents who are devoted to poverty alleviation, serving a comprehensive well-off society and promoting sustainable development. A multidisciplinary and full-scale architectural innovative talent training system with outstanding characteristics. Abstract:Civil engineering is one of the most representative traditional engineering specializations. It is of great practical significance to formulate a reasonable curriculum program for civil engineering undergraduate in order to train high-quality talents and promote the construction of emerging engineering education. By means of comparative analysis, this paper expounds the core contents of the undergraduate training program of civil engineering in the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign (UIUC), especially the principles and provisions of the curriculum system. It is found that the proportion of professional theory courses is 52.3%, with special emphasis on the setting of tool courses (such as engineering mathematics and computer language). The core curriculum of the major is divided into ten fields (including seven traditional fields: construction technology and management, building materials, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, transportation engineering, water resources engineering and science; three interdisciplinary fields: energy-water-environment sustainability, social risk management, sustainable and resilient infrastructure systems). It is stipulated that two different fields shall be selected as major fields and minor fields at the same time. The course of writing principles and scientific and technological writing has been set up, emphasizing the cultivation of scientific and technological writing ability. The teacher consultant system is advocated, and teachers are encouraged to provide all-round consultation and guidance for students in the whole process. The training program of UIUC civil engineering reflects the following characteristics: the careful division of courses ensures the difficulty and depth of course teaching, the flexible and operational course selection of the curriculum system, the selection of major and minor fields gives consideration to the depth and breadth of professional knowledge, and the hard provisions of the preparatory courses ensure the effective connection of the curriculum system, the freshman’s formulation of the curriculum arrangement plan needs for multi-level endorsement by the university to prevent students from blindly selecting courses. It has a reference role in optimizing the talent training mode, improving the talent training quality, and promoting the education and teaching reform of civil engineering undergraduate major in China.

Abstract:The proposing of the concept of emerging engineering education has accelerated the process of realizing a strong education country in China, and has also brought new opportunities and new development mindsets for the education reform and development of civil engineering majors in universities. Student-centredness is one of the main focuses of the reform of engineering education in the context of emerging engineering education. With the promotion of the national "Belt and Road" initiative, social transformation and economic development in the context of emerging engineering education are in urgent need of new civil engineering technical talents with engineering innovation, practical ability, and international vision. With the emphasis on research and practice as the aim of civil engineering education, Australia has established a flexible curriculum and showed respect for students, which provides a model for civil engineering education in China. By describing the current development of civil engineering education in Australia under the changing international context, this paper reveals that, undergraduate education of civil engineering in Australian universities is highly general, the curriculum content is comprehensive and flexible, emphasis is put on the integration of theory and practice and the cultivation of students’ independent and innovative abilities. This paper proposes that China’s civil engineering professional education should deal with the relationship between education generalism and professionalism, pay more attention to the positive experience of students, and improve students’ comprehensive abilities. Meanwhile, it is of great necessity to improve the quality and specialization of courses to promote the comprehensive development of discipline education, so as to inject new vitality into the civil engineering education in China.

Abstract:Emerging engineering education is a new educational model that arises under the background of new economy and new industry. Abstract:In recent years, the integration of professional courses and ideological and political courses, the organic integration of ideological and political education into the whole process of professional education and teaching, and the full play of the educational role of each course are new attempts of ideological and political education, are important measures to cultivate first-class talents and realize the fundamental task of moral cultivation in China. Taking soil mechanics as an example, based on a deep understanding of the characteristics and engineering problems of soil and a comprehensive understanding of the curriculum system, determine the path of ideological and political construction of soil mechanics curriculum: determine the teaching goal of ideological and political education of soil mechanics curriculum according to the orientation of the education goal of the civil engineering specialty of the college, establish a teaching team, create teaching resources, and reform teaching methods and assessment methods; deeply excavate the connotation and extension of the curriculum, refine the four ideological and political elements of the curriculum: family and country feelings, scientific spirit, engineering ethics, professional interest and identity. Abstract:Information technology brings great impact to higher education teaching. It is of great significance to cultivate high quality engineering talents with both morality and ability, explore the ideological and political teaching mode of courses supported by information technology, and realize the cooperative education of professional courses and ideological and political courses. The concept and practical significance of curriculum-based ideological and political teaching are clarified. After four years of teaching practice of curriculum-based ideological and political teaching, it is concluded that there are problems in the teaching practice of engineering mechanics curriculum-based ideological and political teaching, such as the students’ relatively low sense of participation, the teaching means of ideological and political courses are relatively traditional, and the teaching links of curriculum-based ideological and political teaching are relatively single. In view of the above problems, the ability goal, knowledge goal and education goal of each module of the teaching content of engineering mechanics course are defined. And the use of multimedia and micro-course production is put forward to improve students’ sense of participation, bridge model loading competition and finite element software simulation analysis are used to innovate the form of ideological and political courses, the introduction of learning mobile application and the integration of new media platform are put forward to enrich the ideological and political course implementation means. Finally, taking the course of rational design of beam as an example, the implementation process of ideological and political teaching links of engineering mechanics course supported by information technology is explained in detail through teaching design.

Abstract:The territorial spatial planning system consists of a detailed plan base that is problem-oriented at the micro level and a master plan base that is goal-oriented at the medium and macro levels. Additionally, "city improvement and ecological restoration" has evolved into a significant strategy for raising city quality. The architectural design curriculum for the junior undergraduate students of urban and rural planning also needs to be adjusted accordingly in order to adapt to the changes in national policies and effectively meet the needs of the general public for high-quality space. Its curriculum objectives, means, and contents need to achieve three changes: from the goal-oriented design of determining architectural design goals and then design countermeasures to the problem-oriented design of discovering problems and then proposing measures to solve them; from the training of simple spatial and functional design skills to the training of design methods of learning to master the whole process of "researching the current situation–discovering problems–proposing solutions–implementing measures–expressing design"; from focusing on the inside-out design focusing on building function and shape to outside-in design focusing on the constraints of built environment on building design. Nanjing Tech University has created a "1" status quo investigation and analysis-based curriculum after years of experimentation, followed by "2" design topics, combining its unique characteristics and emphasizing problem-oriented, space-based, and environment-constrained. Students can improve their understanding of architecture and the environment, their capacity to solve particular problems, their comprehension of relevant design logic, and their ability to connect with the urban and rural planning and design courses in their senior year by significantly increasing their research into current situation analysis, enhancing the environmental constraints, and emphasizing problem-oriented architectural and environmental design.

Abstract:High-story structure design is a professional course of civil engineering majors. Combining the results of the student questionnaire survey and teaching experience of the subject group, this paper expounds and analyzes the current problems and the current situation of teaching reform of the multi-high-story structure design course. According to the characteristics of ordinary undergraduate colleges, our subject group puts forward a reform plan, named modular counterexample teaching method. Teaching content is re-modularized according to the structure type. Teaching methods are based on self-proposed counterexample teaching method and question method, and the assessment method draws on the examination mode of National Registered Structural Engineer Professional Qualification, which is output-oriented and combines the formative evaluation and comprehensive evaluation. Through the teaching reform practice in the past two years, although the academic performance needs to be further improved, the classroom effect and learning atmosphere have been substantially improved, which has verified its feasibility and good application prospects.

Abstract:In the context of the Ministry of Education’s requirements for the construction of first-class undergraduate majors, and according to the standards of the construction of first-class majors in landscape architecture in agricultural and forestry colleges and universities, the renewal of the curriculum system must focus on higher requirements. Tracing back to the development characteristics of landscape architecture majors in domestic agricultural and forestry colleges, based on the requirements of the documents related to the construction of first-class courses, the characteristics and requirements of "forestry majors" and "architecture majors" are sorted out. On this basis, the demand-oriented professional curriculum system is constructed in accordance with landscape architecture faculty teams, teaching resources, and the professional orientation and learning situation of training programs of Anhui Agricultural University. The questionnaire data of the professional curriculum system is analyzed by the TOPSIS entropy weight method, and the optimal ideal solutions of the overall curriculum system, the main curriculum system and the innovative practical curriculum system are obtained. The curriculum system of landscape architecture with "landscape engineering" and "landscape floriculture" as the "linkage dual-core" is further established. In order to optimize the curriculum system, it is intended to achieve the overall "new agricultural science" characteristics combined with a multidisciplinary intersection of diversified teaching requirements, cultivate landscape architecture talents who lead the industry practice and research innovation in the new era, meet the demand orientation of providing landscape construction research talents for building high-quality living environment, realize the cultivation goal of landscape architecture specialty in Anhui Agricultural University, and cultivate high-quality landscape architecture talents in the new era. At the same time, it also provides a reference for other colleges to construct the curriculum system of landscape architecture major in agricultural and forestry colleges.

Abstract:Building cooling and heating source is a core course for the major of building environmental and energy application engineering. Through the study of this course, students can master the basic theory and design method of building cooling and heating source, and independently design the complex air conditioning system, providing important support for achieving the professional training objectives. This study analyzes the teaching characteristics of building cooling and heating source course, and the existing teaching implementation process of the original course included the contradiction between the teaching content and the course credit hours, the limitation of training objectives and teaching methods. These problems cannot meet the current demand of talent training under the background of emerging engineering development. Therefore, this study has carried out reforms, such as: re-structure of teaching content, integration of online and offline teaching and diversification of teaching evaluation. The internet-assisted blended teaching is an effective way to promote the rapid and high-quality development of education and promote the progress of education. In this paper, the teaching reform of the course of building cooling and heating source is carried out and the online and offline blended teaching mode based on the Rain Classroom is explored. This study re-structured the curriculum knowledge system, integrating the teaching chapters into five modules. Online and offline teaching methods are combined, including online release preview, offline teaching and online testing, problem extention after class, and integration of knowledge and ability training. It has reformed the traditional achievement evaluation mechanism and adopted diversified evaluation methods. Through the above three aspects of reform, the path of blended teaching of building cooling and heating source is explored, and students’ ability of independent learning is cultivated, to provide reference for strengthening discipline construction and deepening core curriculum teaching reform.

Abstract:This paper aims at the construction of the knowledge system of engineering discipline, taking the development of engineering graduation design as the starting point, based on the analysis of the curriculum composition of architectural environment and energy application engineering, combined with the investigation of students’ mastery and application of the knowledge system in the graduation design and its reasons and effects. This paper deeply analyzes the problems existing in the current engineering curriculum teaching, points out the teaching problems of incomplete curriculum coverage, imperfect student knowledge system and lack of engineering application under the current credit demand model, and the problems of incomplete grasp, systematic insufficiency, and the need to learn again arising from the graduation design link. Based on the development requirements of emerging engineering, it is proposed that the discipline foundation and professional knowledge suitable for the current national economic and social development should be rearranged, improved and updated in the education and training of engineering professionals. It is necessary to combine the teaching mode and learning needs, build a curriculum system suitable for different development directions, and expand the coverage of professional knowledge. It is necessary to further combine the characteristics of talent differentiation training in colleges and universities, face the needs and improve the requirements of curriculum setting and the level of education and teaching. Abstract:The seismic courses of engineering structure are comprehensive professional courses of civil engineering. The teaching object is the senior undergraduate students majoring in civil engineering. There are many theoretical points in these courses, involving the latest development of structural seismic technology. Limited to class hours and teaching funds, experimental teaching is generally limited to the mechanical property experiment of beam and column members under tension, compression, bending, torsion and other loads. Structural dynamic experiments are rarely conducted, such as structural dynamic characteristics test, component energy dissipation capacity test, structural seismic responses, and other experiments. This paper introduces the present situation of the experimental teaching of engineering structure seismic courses, analyzes on the shortcomings of the existing experimental teaching contents, puts forward some suggestions on setting up the experimental courses related to structural seismic performance, and the experimental courses of mechanical properties of building and bridge seismic isolation devices, and carries out the course building from the aspects of compiling the teaching syllabus, experimental instructions, teaching handouts, preparing the template of experimental reports, and teaching practice. Through three years of teaching practice, combined with the latest engineering practice and classroom teaching, reform of the experimental teaching has achieved good teaching effect. Students have fully understood all kinds of seismic reduction and isolation devices, the newest structural design concepts and new structural systems, and have received standardized experimental operation skills training. This has laid a good foundation for students to quickly understand engineering construction procedures and standards after employment, or to continue their further study.

Abstract:The new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial changes has had a huge impact on the shape, division of labor and organization of the civil engineering industry, and the traditional practical teaching models can no longer meet the needs of talent training in the development of the new era. At the same time, the Ministry of Education is actively promoting the construction of emerging engineering, the reform of professional talent training mode of "double first-class" universities is imminent. Under the background of emerging engineering education, improving students’ practical ability and innovation ability are essential for the cultivation of composite talents. In order to adapt to the new requirements for higher engineering education under the background of emerging engineering education reform, production practice, as an important course for cultivating students’ engineering practical ability, needs to keep pace with the times. In recent years, the College of Civil Engineering of Tongji University has taken into account the development trend of intelligent bridge construction, followed the latest development and hot issues in the field of bridge engineering construction, and carried out a bold reform of the production practice mode in response to the disadvantages of the traditional practice mode, such as "outdated practice theme, one-sided management and assessment mode, single teaching method and old-fashioned output". Relying on the major bridge engineering internship base under construction in China which is close to the frontier of engineering practice, and using the digital teaching method of "combining virtuality with reality", the college has gradually formed a frontier internship theme, refined management procedure, diversified teaching methods and efficient results teaching model through five years of practical teaching exploration from 2017 to 2021. The new model is centered on student development, oriented to diversified output, and explores refined control and evaluation methods to guarantee the quality of producing practice and promote students to harvest multifaceted results. Since its application, the teaching model has been widely praised by students and internship units, and provides reference for the construction of innovative talents training based on the concept of emerging engineering in double first-class universities.
