Abstract:Developing new quality productivity is the historical background and fundamental basis for the current reform of teacher education. As a conceptual representation of contemporary production forms, new quality productivity is a systematic transformation and ecological optimization of productivity forms. New quality productivity is not only an innovation of production material factors, but also an update of development concepts and a transformation of thinking modes. This has fundamental guiding significance for the transformation of teacher education. The National Excellent Plan is a leader in the reform of teacher education and the high-quality development of education, and should respond to the theme of developing new quality productivity in this era. Research suggests that the development of new quality productivity has put forward new requirements for the construction of new infrastructure, curriculum reform, teacher quality structure, and teacher training models. In response, the teacher education of the National Excellent Plan should fully leverage the advantages of research and humanities resources in research-oriented universities, and cultivate a high-quality faculty team that combines the spirit of technological innovation and the spirit of educators. This not only requires a digitalized teacher education model, but also the construction of an integrated teacher education model that integrates production, research, and teaching, to achieve the integration of educational research scenarios in universities, technological application scenarios in enterprises, and primary and secondary education scenarios. It also requires the development and improvement of a series of supporting systems to ensure the realization of the National Excellent Plan teacher education concept and goals.

Abstract:With the ongoing improvement in higher education, the subject contest has received increasing attention as a crucial means of fostering talent development. As important participants in the subject contest, undergraduate students face many problems during the contest process, such as low recognition of the subject contest, lack of confidence in participating in the subject contest, a single channel of access to information regarding the subject contest, and poor atmosphere for participating in the subject contest, which lead to suboptimal effectiveness of student participation in the subject contest. How to better promote undergraduate students’ participation in the subject contest has also emerged as a significant research topic in the new era of education. Based on the theory of planned behavior and the theory of social practice, combined with the characteristics of undergraduate students participating in the subject contest, the influencing factors of undergraduate students’ intention to participate in the subject contest were identified and a mechanism model of undergraduate students’ intention to participate in the subject contest was constructed in this study. Taking undergraduate students majoring in engineering management as an example, reliability and validity testing, factor analysis, and structural equation model verification were conducted on 375 valid data by SPSS and AMOS software. The findings indicate that attitudes towards participating in the subject contest, subjective norms, employment or academic advantages have a significant positive impact on the intention of undergraduate students to participate in the subject contest, while perceived behavioral control, a favorable school competition atmosphere, and individual characteristics of undergraduate students have little effect on their intention. On this basis, three suggestions were proposed to promote the participation of undergraduate students in the subject contest, including strengthening the education and training of undergraduate students and improving students’ attitude to participate in the subject contest; expanding the publicity scope of participating in the subject contest and promoting students’ subjective norms to participate in the subject contest; improving the system of participating in the subject contest and highlighting the future advantages of students’ participation in the subject contest.

Abstract:To foster talents with both moral integrity and professional competence for Chinese-style modernization, ideological and political education in all courses, aimed at holistic development and character cultivation, has been widely implemented across educational institutions in China. However, many teachers still face uncertainties and challenges in practice. Therefore, using empirical research methods, this paper takes a residential area design class as the case to illustrate the specific practice and research before, during, and after the class. Pre-class problem research and curriculum design are crucial for high-quality ideological and political education. By pre-class literature review and analysis, teachers not only prepare themselves but also proactively identify potential issues to formulate strategies and plans. Meticulous curriculum design involves clarifying key knowledge points, delving deep into relevant ideological and political elements, and effective allocation of time for each section. Furthermore, it is essential to emphasize the seamless integration of ideological and political elements with knowledge points, the logical sequence of various ideological and political elements, the concept of seamless teaching, and the use of appropriate teaching methods to prevent negative student experiences. The objective is to achieve a simultaneous and collaborative effectiveness in knowledge transmission, skill development, and value guidance. The classroom is the main battlefield for practicing ideological and political education, and teachers need to organically combine curriculum design with onsite performance, classroom organization, and observation of speech and behavior. Post class surveys and follow-up visits can help teachers summarize and improve the teaching effectiveness.
